Lollicup Artesia has been a huge part of my childhood. The place is small, but it's a great place to hangout with friends or study. There are seats available inside and outside this small boba shop. This is my go-to boba place because they have great deals. Their lunch special is a great deal! I recommend for you to try their popcorn chicken and House Special noodles. For the drinks, I recommend the original milk tea, Taro slush, chocolate slush, and mango green tea. This place has decent drinks and food but honestly they need to hire another person. This is the second time I'm here and there's only one person work g making. Drinks and food. Twice i have seen People walks out because no one is taking orders or if the worker is taking orders then the drinks are backed up. The shop is pretty small but it had sufficient seating. I liked how the menu was organized. It showed which drinks contained dairy and which didn't, which is great for those who do not consume dairy. I really wish I had seen the yelp check in deal because I could have gotten my regular upgraded to a large for free! Oh well...it's okay. When I first started liking boba drinks this was my go to spot. That was a few years ago before they remodeled. They used to have a pretty good deal for milk tea. It was buy one get one 50% off. Super awesome when we were poor high school kids and had about 5 dollars on us. Fast forward to today. They did a lot of remodeling and decoration and their menu seems bigger. It definitely has a nicer feel to it. The staff has also gotten a lot nicer and more helpful now. They are fast and they always get it right. Their drinks are still yummy. I like them half sweetened because normal sweet tastes so overpowering to me. Their prices are more expensive now but not as high as some more "hipster" establishments. Disgusting. This used to be everyone's go-to boba spot but I stopped going because the quality has definitely changed. Regret giving them another chance. The workers were not wearing masks, that should have been a sign for me to gtfo but I stayed and ordered the original milk tea with boba. Milk tea is mediocre. The boba tasted like straight plastic and I cannot get the taste out of my mouth 20 minutes later. I think I'm traumatized. I went to get their milk tea today and and after the first sip i'm confident to say that I will not be coming back to this location ever again. Now that it's a huge deal and there are amazing boba places EVERYWHERE, Lollicup has fallen a bit by the wayside. However, I still keep on coming here nowadays for the pretty sweet $5 LUNCH SPECIALS! These are from Monday - Friday 11-3 pm So far, I've had the chicken curry and the Korean spicy BBQ pork, both of which were okay dishes, but for $6 you can get a huge serving of food plus a green or black tea of your choice (the drink makes it $1 extra). The teas are pretty sweet and you should probably ask for half sweetness if you aren't a fan. Totally great value for a filling and decent meal. Only downsides are the parking situation (always terrible in this plaza) and the quality of the drinks are not so good if you are accustomed to high quality tea beverages. The boba drinks are fine here, but nothing that extravagant! If you're needing boba and it's in vicinity, I'll probably get some but it wouldn't be my first choice. The usual stuff I get is the smoothie or snows. Usually I get the milk tea snow with boba or egg pudding, Thai tea snow with egg pudding, Taro snow, red bean snow, any of the creamy flavors. They're all good! The service though is hit or miss. I've gotten my order forgotten about sometimes. We stumbled on to this place and found the serve food too. We ordered the spicy pork and the chicken plate. The price was great. It also comes with green tea or black tea. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars was the veggies was not cooked, which would have been better if the broccoli was steam. Was in the mood to have a milk tea so stopped by Lollicup as it was on the way home rather than going to one of my regular boba milk tea places. Lollicup is located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch market on one end and Lee's Sandwiches on the other end with a bunch of asian restaurants in between on Pioneer Blvd. so its always a bit cramped here as far as parking is concerned but you can generally find a spot quickly. They had some promotion going for buy 1 get 1 free milk tea so I went in and asked about that. It seems it is only valid for regular milk tea and not for all different flavors. The rude way the girl behind the counter responded to my simple question should have been a sign for me to thank her for the information and leave but I decided to get a regular Taro Milk tea with boba ($4.04) instead. In less than 30 seconds I had my drink in hand so it seems that these are pre made like Quickly. Taste wise it was the worst milk tea that I've ever had period. It tasted like tap water that had been run through rusted pipes with the distinct metallic after taste. I've got my winner for the worst boba place ever. KK's LOLLICUP!!! This place has definitely become my favorite place for good boba at home. The boba drinks are definitely better than Quickly and Dolphin Bay. It might not be as good quality as Teastation ($$$) and Guppy's (longgggg wait, bad service) but I always go to when I just want fast, cheap, and delicious boba . A couple of my friends are extravagant boba drinkers and think anything with the name Lollicup associated with it is low quality. Alright, so I admit that its not the best you can get but its cheap and delicious. The drinks are good and pretty consistent (but I've had a few watered down drinks). The boba isn't as sweet as some other places but its soft and chewy. I usually get the mini boba in all of my milk teas and big boba in my slushes. I'm not really sure why but some of my friends get half big boba and half mini boba o_O. Although some people do sit in there and study, I've tried studying here once and it was way too loud for me. The TV's on, blenders are always going off, people talking loudly, etc. It doesn't work for me but I guess some people don't mind. There is free wifi there though! My favorite drinks are the jasmine green milk tea, almond milk tea, taro milk tea, and the oreo slush.... any of those with a fried combination snack and I can call it a good day. read more

This place has been reincarnated so many times with so many different names, it was hard to keep track of. But this is the current name and is under the lollicup's franchise. The picture will show the actual name, the true Lollicup in Artesia, not the one down the street across from Vietnam's Garden. The place was very small and comfy. It does have all the selections of their normal menu worth of flavors. The one big plus I liked over the hole near V' Garden was that they do a good serving the drinks without grossing you out. A better positive experience I say. They also offer the full service of lines of burgers, hot dogs, and other quick Chinese snacks. The dinner/lunch combo also exist in their line. They are definitely killing their next door neighbor, Gourmet which suffers in terms of getting the Asian Americans to try Konjac. Bobba Milk tea will always win out. There is selection of magazines and comic books while you are dining and sipping your bobba drinks. There's many out door benches too... if you are smoker. The only thing I can tell to avoid is the restroom. Avoid that... trust me. Other than that, this is actually a very good bobba milk tea place to hang out or getting a quick drink to go. read more

This place is one "K" shy of getting kicked out of Artesia, or just about any city in LA. We picked up Jen P and Stevie and came here on a whim. They have an "A" health code rating here. What else can you ask for? I ordered the taro slushie for $2.35, it was actually pretty yummy! I know they don't use real because 1) real taro is not deep purple and 2) it just taste too dang sweet but it sure hits the spot with the mild popcorn chicken. This place is okay. They have WiFi for free, a flat screen with usually ESPN on, and a vast selection of drinks. I had the misfortune of trying out the blueberry milk tea and it was a taste I won't forget...cause it sucked! Mind you, I was warned before that it wasn't the best taste, even if I liked blueberries. Because of that the kind drink artist was okay with changing my drink out to the much more delicious almond milk tea. I love their drinks and especially brown sugar milk tea, however this review is for the food. The last time I was here I got the popcorn chicken combo with a drink (it comes with black or green tea). I should mention that I love Taiwanese milk tea and black tea...OK almost any tea from Taiwan is yummy. This time I got the lunch special the one without the drink... so sad I wanted a tea. The food was really good and it was easy to eat in the car. Covid19 has made it so that most restaurants can not have people sit inside. So far when I was there they still had the tables and chairs inside and also a few tables outside. However my husband and I did not want to take a chance--- social distancing---.
