I have been to Aloha Stacks twice and both times the Food was excellent. They have a very extensive menu which makes it difficult to choose, but the more you go the more you can try different foods. The only complaint I have is that they only give you one very small pat of Cold Butter, which would not Melt on my waffle which was also not very Hot. I did ask for more butter and received three more of the same Cold pats. Need to come up with a better chorice of Butter, especially with waffles and pancakes on the menu. Service was Very Good but it would be better if All of your party were served at the same. My waffle was served at least ten minutes before the rest of our party. I dropped off my friends at LAX for a outgoing flight and it was a Saturday early morning. I was craving breakfast and had never been to any Aloha Stacks prior. Located at a large strip center, there was an abundance of parking available. I prefer the setup of how orders are placed at the counter and the staff brings out the food to your table of choice at the dining room, which is quite large and spacious. There's a self-service beverage bar and there's a condiment station too. We ordered the prime rib breakfast burrito and the Loco Moco with the hamburger patty for protein. My breakfast burrito was sizable and contained added protein of guacamole and the prime rib was tender and yummy. The loco moco was topped with requested medium cooked eggs and the yummy gravy was served on the side which I prefer. Portions were generous and filling. Went around 12:30pm and it was super packed when we got there. We ordered the California burritos, 2 loco mocos, kalua pork Benedict (subbed the house fried potatoes for tater tots), and the macnut French toast. The French toast was my favorite. Crispy, flavorful, and really good. The tater tots with the Benedict were also a great swap and went really well with everything. I do wish there was a bit more hollandaise sauce on top of the eggs, but the food was still okay overall. I had driven past this place countless times and finally decided to give it a try. Since it's right by my house, I can honestly say I'll be back. Ube pancakes: definitely on the sweeter side, but didn't need additional syrup. The creamy ube spread and coconut flakes did all the work and the top pancake soaked it up nicely while the bottom one picked up the overflowing topping on the sides. Must have to split. My wife got a cup of coffee for $4.25 and I got a cup of POG for $5. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meal and there are plenty of things here that we still would love to try. My french toast dish was interesting as they had a guava sauce over my french toast that was made crispy with a crust from ground down captain crunch cereal. It was creative. My wife's loco moco had a nice savoriness; however, I felt the rice to meat ratio was a little too heavy on the side of the rice. We came at peak time on a Saturday and they were very busy. You have to seat yourself and it wasn't easy. Most patrons in line ordered their food to go. Service was friendly; however, dining in wasn't the best experience. Food was served as soon as the kitchen plated the dishes, so there was a 10+ minute gap between when I got my french toast and my wife got her loco moco. The spam masubi tasted as I expected and had some sort or sweet sauce on it. Everything was delicious and the one order was more than enough for two people. Love the food and found a hack on my 2nd visit - you can upgrade your choice of side for the yummy ube pancakes for an up charge that's not too much. There's lots of choices... This is a brunch place so they close "early" (2pm as of last)and the good news is how EARLY they open I think it's at 6 or 6:30 I think they charge reasonably for the serving size, quality and taste. A go-to spot for me when I'm craving Hawaiian food/breakfast. It's a fast casual spot, and you have to order before you can claim your seat (which is fair!) I've enjoyed everything I've had from here, and my favorites are their waffles, chicken katsu, and kalua pork. I also really enjoy their Hawaiian latte. Service is always friendly. This place can get very busy on weekends. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and arrangements can be made to accommodate for larger parties. read more

Plenty of customer parking is really nice and by the looks of the crowd that came in Sunday, Aloha stacks sure did need it. The staff are nice and the food comes out quickly and hot. You basically order yourself at the counter then find a table to sit, they do hand you a number to place on the table so they can identify you. The servers who come are really nice and friendly. The food itself was good. My kalua pork omelet was ok, the macadamia nut waffle was ok but the nuts seemed old and rancit. My mom had the corned beef hash, eggs and rice (2 scoops) and she said it was really good. Me sister had the kalua pork chiliquilas and said it was good and had some good heat. Overall the prices were fair, food was good and service was great. Seating may be a little difficult so getting there earlier on a Sunday would be recommended.
