I haven't been in over 15 years, and I was honestly excited to see the interior of this Artesia store. The signage and furniture have seen better days, but they all seem to be original and have that burnt orange charm. The menu also seems to be the same, modern trends be damned. The seasoning is on point, right amount of chili powder (not too mild and just the right amount of heat), and the batter is light and crispy. It's always a delightful treat. One thing to note - be careful when you ask for "extra spicy" because this place doesn't skimp on their seasoning and chili powder.
