This little tea spot is located at the Montebello mall. IMO I thought the menu was a bit confusing and there was too many things on the menu. I couldn't even find the area for the toppings so we opted to get no toppings. I ended up getting a lychee fusion with less sweet. Less sweet is still very sweet so we definitely should've asked for like zero additional sugar. The drink itself was okay, it was refreshing and flavors were good. There was only one guy working here, he was walking extremely SLOW he had No sense of urgency it started getting busy in here and he never picked up pace even after people started to pile in. My boyfriend had work and ended up being late because of the person working here. I get it, it's one person which is faulty on whoever scheduled him, but he needs SOU OR give the job to another person. Just got the order he said it would be shareable but it's a small sandwich and definitely made only for one person so seems like he wasn't trying to do his job either. Went here on a Saturday afternoon, 2pm. We ordered the thai tea and the coconut smoothie with boba for me and my daughter. Ambience is nice though the place is a lil small. Lady in cashier was friendly. But OMG the coconut smoothie was so good, it wasnt too sweet but nor was not that sweet, it was just right and I would buy again. For my daughter's thai tea it was good and i reccomend. Overall I reccomend this place and i would come again. :D read more

Located upstairs next to Macy's, I went to this milk tea place simply because it was conveniently where I needed to make it a return and I was really thirsty. I ordered two items with no expectations and came out pleasantly surprised, mostly by how kind the owner lady is. The drinks are pretty standard. I ordered a jasmine green tea slush and a mocha cappuccino shake. Both were refreshing, but there was nothing too extraordinary about them. Just the right amount of ice and sweetness, and my tea slush was nice and strong. As for the lady owner, she handed me the drinks kindly and later, gave me a half-filled cup of hot water to help warm my baby's milk. For a mall joint, I didn't have high expectations, but based on the owner lady alone, I would be inclined to visit again if I'm in the area and thirsty. read more

I really hate to leave a low review considering how much I love Prinkipia. Service: -The young girl who took our order was nice until we didnt select "tip" on the screen. She then just quickly walked away silently and in annoyance. We were going to tip cash lol. -Drinks came out pretty quickly it took a good 1-2 minutes! We came on a Sunday and the wait wasn't so bad. Drinks: -Brown sugar milk tea (left) was okay, pretty watery not too strong in tea flavor and very light tasting of brown sugar. Horchata frappe (right) was very disappointing. It tasted nothing like horchata. Very very disappointed because I love horchata! I just tasted a very strong caffeine flavor. It tasted as if there was no horchata added !! ): -The boba is soft and not so chewy, and doesnt have a flavor like other bubble tea shops such as Honey or Brown sugar. Aside from this experience I recommend going to Prinkipia because they have a large variety of drinks! Juices, Smoothies, Fruit teas, coffee, and so much more. This is my goto for boba everytime I am at Montebello mall. Besides the experience from this day I LOVE prinkipia.. their boba on other days, their customer service, and drinks are always spot on. Came shopping at the mall and ran into this cute coffee/boba shop. I wish I have this near my home! My friends and I ordered El Chile, 2 Elotes (one regular and one spicy Cheetos), 1 Thai milk tea, 1 Taro milk tea, 1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake, few macarons. I have never had elotes nor El chile, but they are sooooo good! My favorite was the hot Cheetos elote. I can eat this everyday. Lol It's overall very clean and the staff are very nice. I wish this was closer to my home, so I can bring my kids! I would definitely stop by again when I am in the area. read more

This little boba shop is soo cute! It's right next to Macy's on the second floor. The decor is bright and fun, while you can see them making your drinks. The cups are something I never seen before because it's basically short and wide with white graffiti decor on the cups. They have macaroons and cookies along with a huge variety of boba drinks. - taro milk tea with mango popping boba: first off, I love taro. Once I had this drink I fell in love! I wanted another as soon as I took my first sip! The taro isn't too sweet and it was mixed very well so don't taste any powder. I loved the mango boba because I hate regular boba because I feel like I'm eating my drink and not just enjoying it...too lazy. It was a burst of mango along with my sweet taro. Soo good! You get to choose if you want boba or not. Besides typical boba and jelly variety, they had mango, green tea, and coffeee popping boba. Which is basically liquid balls that burst in your mouth along with your drink. I absolutely love this shop and wish there was one where I lived. The people who work here work very hard and no one in this area seem to be nice to them as they were ordering or waiting on their drink. Not cool. I just gave a dollar and the guy on the register was so happy, like he never saw a tip before. Always tip especially when you can see the people who serve you is working hard. read more

This little boba shop perfectly located at The Shops at Montebello not only has your typical boba milk teas (taro, coconut, regular milk tea) it also has sandwiches, bottle water, bags of chips, & elote. My favorite thing on the menu are the cereal milkshake. We ordered the Captain Crunch one and was not disappointed. My only regret is not ordering a large. Not very impressed. Have to say this was my first visit and I was disappointed by the quality and poor selection. I asked for a few options and turns out they were out of the things I initially wanted. Strange for them to be out of certain ingredients on a Saturday morning. I did eventually get a caramel milk tea with honey boba. The boba did not taste anything like honey and was a bit chewy for me. I don't expect much from a shopping mall boba shop and this experience is why I will continue to have low expectations. read more

The Montebello Mall (and don't tell me to call it The Shops @ Montebello) desperately needed a good boba spot. Now .... is this the single best tea/boba chain in the world? No .... is it the best in SoCal? Also No .... but is it the best in the mall? Yes! So there you go... good enough for government work. The workers are nice enough, definitely teenagers who would rather be elsewhere, but who wasn't there at that age. I had an ice blended thai tea ... which was pretty good. The thai tea flavor was definitely prevalent. Prices are a bit high, but to be expected when buying from a mall vendor. Overall, this is a decent place that's worth a visit if you're already at the mall, but not worth fighting mall parking to get to. Stay Cheerful ;) read more

Nice little snack spot inside Montebello Town Center. Boba here is great! They sell sandwiches, macarons, and other drinks too. But if you're here, come on, you gotta try the boba drinks. Plenty of flavors, sizes, and smiles from the employees. The vibe here is nice. They have a couple of seats but you're inside a mall, enjoy your walk while window shopping and sipping on your happy stuff. Prices are fair for the sizing of their cups. I got a few macaroons and a green tea w/ sea salt cream on top....LOVED IT! I had to go back while I was on a recent shopping trip!! This place is just okay. I bought the split cup hoping to get a shake on one side and a tea or smoothie on the other as advertised on the banner. Well the worker said they don't put shakes or smoothies in them even though the banner has a picture of it! She shrugged her shoulders and said it shouldn't have it there cause they don't do it. Sigh, I was thristy so I just bought the split milk tea and thai tea with boba. It was $7 and the cups were mainly ice with okay tasting tea. I won't go there again. read more
