Easy to order on a kiosk! The place is a small, but cute and cozy with couches to hang out with friends and family! This a good spot to take your kids to grab a little snack! My partner and I got the Thai Tea Stormy and Pina Colada Stormy. I have to say that this is the best Thai smoothie I've ever had lol and the pina coloda was amazing and fresh. Favorite tea spot in Monterey Park. They have a bogo deal from 2pm-5pm Mon-Thurs which is nice. We've ordered their chamoy inspired drink, Yakult series, milk series, and matcha. All hits. The service is quick and there's always parking in this plaza (same plaza as Dollar Tree). The environment isn't too bright or loud which is also another plus. read more

The service was SO FAST. I ordered, turned to check what my friends had ordered, and my drink was done. We had a large group of people and all of our drinks were done within minutes. They have some sofas and the overall ambience of the store of cozy. They have board games available to borrow. Cool place to hangout with friends. This was the only boba place in the area that was open at 11 AM so I decided to come try it. They were already pretty busy at 11 AM with a few tables taken. I had a bit of a confusing moment when I asked if they accepted cash and was told no, but when I went to line up at the kiosk, the guy called me back over and said yes cash. I ordered the Hawaiian fruit green tea with less ice and half sugar. It was still pretty sweet at half sugar. The drink was very nice and refreshing. The drinks at this location all taste pretty good! The mango green tea with aloe (but I switch out the aloe for boba) at 70% sweetness and it tastes perfect for me. The store has plenty of seating and is kept really clean overall. The drinks also come out pretty quick. Parking can be a little tough as it's located in a small plaza but it's never impossible to find. read more

I must say that the teas here are quite good. I like that I can adjust my sweetness preference to less sweet as I'm not a big fan of too sweet. It's clean, cozy & the service is ok.. I stopped by for the very first time over the weekend. Plenty of free parking spots. Outside the store may not look like much but there were customers at every table! I ordered Oolong Tea and Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea. I was trying to order with a staff member but she asked that I use the kiosk next to the counter instead. I didn't wait too long for the drinks to come out and I liked it! I asked for 50% sweet and it was not overwhelming at all. Will definitely stop by again to try other drinks. Today I decided to take advantage of their bogo 50% which happens mon-thur. I got their jasmine tea w/cheese foam w/ boba, 25% sugar bc last time I ordered 50% and it was still really sweet to me. 25% was perfect this time. I throughly enjoyed the taste & texture of their boba balls and it satisfied my boba craving. Perfectly sweet flavor and has a nice, soft chew to them. Imo I wish the jasmine tea was more fragrant and potent. I tasted more of a milky flavor overall due to the foam and wished there was more jasmine to balance it out. History

Established in 2006.

Bruce, the founder of R&B Tea, came to Suzhou, China in 2005. At that time, he was working in the IT industry. The heavy work load and high pressure constantly made Bruce think of and crave for delicious food and different beverages, especially the tea from his homeland, Taiwan. Despite going places and trying different types that were available, his cravings weren't satisfied because it was hard to find good quality milk tea in Suzhou then. Seeing this gap in the market led Bruce to identify an opportunity where he made a life-changing decision. Bruce decided to start a business by himself, offering various tea beverages concocted with ingredients of the highest quality. Through his perseverance and determination, the first tea outlet was opened in Suzhou in 2006. That's how and when the R&B Tea story began!

My husband makes me a coffee from a phin everyday day for work and this is exactly what it taste like except the cream which elevated the coffee even more. We came back from Vietnam and the coffee in America has been subpar. This has been the only place that I would come back to consistently. Only for their coffee. My children like the Toastes Brown Sugar Boba and finished it quicker than most other places. There is a touch screen to order. I was nicely greeted when I walked in and the store was very clean with a a lot of seating. I found it odd that the middle was long and you have to walk towards the back to get your drink. But overall I'm coming back for that coffee!!!

Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels…read more Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!

I've noticed that some of my drinks at the other places are sometimes watered down, whereas the quality has always been consistent here. The dong ding oolong milk tea with cream and bubble is usually my go to order. Drinks here usually run on the sweeter side so I always get light sweetness. This shop is definitely my go to place for drinks whenever I'm in the area.

I love that they make teas as well as smoothies and milkshake type drinks. The wait time obviously will vary, depending on how many orders have been put in ahead of yours, but usually the wait time is not long. I feel like even when I've been here in the line to order is out the door, the way to receive your drink is still not a long time. There is a parking lot in the back. There's also street parking on the sides of this strip mall. I love coming here. The designs on their cup change throughout the year. I tend to reuse and repurpose my bottles that I get from here. My little one is still in elementary school. So I have found that their thin Crayola brand washable markers fit very nicely in these bottles, as well as their colored pencils.

I could actually taste that it was made from real brewed tea! The mango wasn't just mango puree but was made from real, fresh, and sweet mango. The grapefruit was not sour and actually sweet and delicious! The coconut milk made the drink super creamy and even more enjoyable! I made sure to give it a real good stir prior to drinking and it tasted so phenomenal! The Boba Milk Tea was good. It wasn't too sweet and I could tell it was made from freshly brewed tea. Located in the a very VERY busy plaza, you'll find yourself staring at each corner of the plaza as there's just SO MANY tea spots to choose from. Inside is basically just a small shop, not much space, no tables and just bench seating by the wall and two small chairs. Ideal to wait outside as it can get quite congested fast. My wife and I ordered two drinks, Golden Leaf Milk Tea and the Peach Black Milk Tea. Both with toppings - Green Tea Jelly and Boba respectively. Since it was grand opening, wait times were a bit long but not too long. Our drinks came out within 15 minutes or so and staff was pretty friendly throughout the whole time we were there. Plus points for being quick as well. Drinks were just like the ones in Pasadena. Tea flavor is not too overwhelming and very smooth overall. Boba weren't super hard and was easy to chew. Overall, two very refreshing drinks especially on a warmer day. Excited to visit again to try other drinks, happy to have another boba spot within SGV.
