Amazing Strawberry Yogurt!!! I've only tried this drink at this place and it hits every time! The strawberry mixture is sweet and the yogurt blends so well with it. You have to try this drink! I'm not sure how the other drinks are!

First time visitor Tucked away in a corner small parking lot / slightly tight space by a dollar tree Cozy comfort interior with few tables and chairs and squishy chairs to sit on Simple decor on shelving and hanging from ceiling WiFi yes - seems fun enough to hang and chat or do some studying Standard drinks and some different flavors too Maybe slightly on the higher pricing compare to others service was efficient and friendly Order lychee milk tea with aloe Vera and I guess it also came with bits of lychee in it - unsure if able to adjust sweetness because upon first few sips a bit too sweet for my taste but it Certainly grew on me with a refreshing taste alternating water sips Chunks made it through the straw and it was not bottled with ice Definitely would go back to try another round and there is also a happy hour between select time buy 1 get 1 50% off and unsure if that is applicable to the whole menu

I love both of this. The coffee with the cream cheese and the hawaiian is so fresh!! I always both of this.

A Must-Try in Monterey Park! Tea House R&B is hands-down one of Monterey Park's sweetest hidden gems! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is fun, fresh, and full of good energy. Their tea menu is absolutely next level -- everything tastes incredibly clean, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Whether you're a classic milk tea lover, a fruit-tea fan, or obsessed with Yakult drinks, this place delivers. The milk teas are rich without being heavy, the fruit teas are bright and refreshing, and the Yakult selections are honestly some of the best I've ever had -- tangy, uplifting, and so addictive you'll want a second cup before you finish the first. What really sets them apart is the consistency: every drink feels carefully made, never watered down, and always bursting with flavor. You can tell they take pride in every cup. If you're anywhere near Monterey Park, do yourself a favor and stop here. Tea House R&B is pure happiness in a cup.

Easy to order on a kiosk! The place is a small, but cute and cozy with couches to hang out with friends and family! This a good spot to take your kids to grab a little snack! My partner and I got the Thai Tea Stormy and Pina Colada Stormy. I have to say that this is the best Thai smoothie I've ever had lol and the pina coloda was amazing and fresh. Everything wasn't really sweet, but so tasty and worth it to try if you are nearby!!

The service was SO FAST. I ordered, turned to check what my friends had ordered, and my drink was done. We had a large group of people and all of our drinks were done within minutes. They have some sofas and the overall ambience of the store of cozy. They have board games available to borrow. Cool place to hangout with friends. The drink itself was fine, nothing stood out but nothing bad either.

Love their Japanese Brown Rice Milk Tea! I add cheese foam at the top and its the best! Helped me through a lot of my school days

Went here with my book club friend. Ordered the strawberry matcha. I love matcha so I figured I'll order something I know. The drink was awful! I couldn't finish it. The matcha was dark green, tasted very earthy and gritty. I decided to order another drink-- the chocolate black tea drink. Very tasty! I'm willing to back and try different drinks! Lots of places to sit. Dark, chill ambiance.

Super duper fast drink and quality boba. They also have rewards program or sign up with your phone number

We came for a late night snack, and to our surprise the milk and mocha collaboration was still going on. It was so cute. Staff was very friendly.

This was the only boba place in the area that was open at 11 AM so I decided to come try it. They were already pretty busy at 11 AM with a few tables taken. I had a bit of a confusing moment when I asked if they accepted cash and was told no, but when I went to line up at the kiosk, the guy called me back over and said yes cash. I ordered the Hawaiian fruit green tea with less ice and half sugar. It was still pretty sweet at half sugar. The drink was very nice and refreshing. I didn't like how the pineapple taste was very overpowering though. Overall a pretty decent boba place that I don't mind visiting again.

The coffee was well-made - it wasn't burnt, overly bitter, or sour, so the extraction seemed solid. However, the flavor felt flat and watered down. It lacked the aroma, body, and rich roasted notes that make a cup memorable. Nothing really stood out, leaving it tasting more diluted than satisfying. Also, I don't think the barista could froth the coffee well. Instead of a nice velvety, dense froth, the froth was a bubbly foam (see photo). Food - 3/5. I visited around 9 a.m., but the pastry selection was surprisingly limited (see photo). The pastries also didn't taste particularly fresh; they had more of the texture and flavor you'd expect from pastries sitting out later in the day rather than freshly baked items you'd hope to find early in the morning. The café has a modern, hip vibe and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's spacious, with plenty of seating, making it a pleasant place to spend some time. Overall, Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab is a fine neighborhood café if you're looking for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a coffee. Unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the food left much of an impression. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. While the ambiance is probably its strongest point, the coffee is just average.

The owners are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely make every customer feel at home. Their customer service is exceptional and one of the main reasons my family and I keep coming back. Their coffee is just as impressive--they roast their own beans, make their own café de olla syrup, and you can even buy their coffee beans to enjoy at home. Every cup tastes fresh, rich, and authentic. I also love the atmosphere. The artwork throughout the shop is beautiful and gives the space so much personality. It's the kind of place where you want to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee. Another thing I appreciate is that their prices are more affordable than many other coffee shops, especially considering the quality of the food, coffee, and service. My kids absolutely love coming here, and it's become one of our favorite family spots. If you're in Boyle Heights and looking for incredible coffee, delicious food, beautiful local art, fair prices, and some of the kindest people you'll ever meet, Picaresca is a must-visit. As for the coffee, if you like a pick me up... and a coffee that isn't sweet but strong. I suggest a refresher drink (tonics). [Parking]: Free small public parking lot directly across from the shop. [Amenities]: This is a really small coffee shop with no indoor tables and only two small outdoor tables. All drinks are made with oat milk. Please note that the kitchen closes at 1 PM on Monday - Tuesday and 2 PM on Wednesday- Sunday even though the cafe remains open for another 1 - 2 hours. Come early for anyone wanting to try kitchen items like breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich. *** Banana nut (double espresso, house made vanilla cold foam, house made banana syrup - medium $7.50): It came with two banana chips. The cold foam was quite underrated and I could taste a hint of banana flavor. The drink wasn't as sweet as I had expected - I liked it. Breakfast burrito (Refried beans, soyrizo, tofu scramble, crispy hashbrowns and sliced avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla - $13.50): Portion wasn't huge, but it also wasn't small enough to finish in one sitting. It had one of the softest texture for breakfast burritos. The soyrizo was very flavorful. It also came with a side of salsa - quite spicy but flavorful at the same time. *** I probably still prefer meat-based breakfast burritos, but their soyrizo breakfast burrito is quite good and the coffee drink is excellent (4.5-star for both items). I would definitely recommend this small coffee shop for a quick grab-and-go.
