My son and I went here for Boba and ended up getting dinner also. I got the roasted brown sugar Boba milk and he got the cookies and cream Boba. We loved them both!! The Boba here is absolutely, delicious and amazing I'm gonna say my favorite Boba place. The 5 star rating I give this place is all about their boba. I can't wait to try the other flavors especially in the summer I'm all about the fruit flavors so can't wait to try those, they look delish. I ordered the garlic noodles and he ordered the pork belly Ramen both were really good but I'd probably give them a four out of five and I think I'm more interested to try the fries and zucchini next time. Stopped in there and Ordered up a Mango Booba. Handsome young man behind the counter got right to work making it. A middle aged woman appeared ....I think she was the owner you could tell where the kid got his looks from, and had a nice conversation with me. Ordered via yelp for pickup because we were drinking nearby. First issue came up during pickup, I asked if there were chopsticks and stuff in the back, the cashier opened one slightly looked inside and said "yes there are forks." Not quite what I asked but whatever, close enough, and I was in a rush so I left. When I got back to my friends we opened the bags and no utensils, napkins, or soy sauce or other sauces. As a result of lack of sauces, most of the food we got (such as the crispy combo) was super dry. The pork buns were cold. Not just "they cooled down during my walk cold" but "they took them out of the fridge and forgot to microwave them cold". Rating just the savory snacks. I've stopped in here a couple of times to grab some popcorn chicken and the Taiwanese sausage. The popcorn chicken comes in additional flavors like lemon pepper and honey sriracha, but I did not enjoy them nearly as much as the original. The sweet chili dipping sauce is good if a bit generic, but the flavor on the chicken is quite good. The Taiwanese sausage is far too sweet, but that may be the way the food is meant to taste - it's just not for me. read more

Craving of Taro drinks. Went to lollicups and I noticed that they have lots of variety choices for taro drinks. I ordered Tari typhoon and the drink taste so deliciously and not overly sweet. Amazing! Stop by for this lovely pick me up. It's a nice gloomy day and I came over to this shopping center to schedule an appointment down the street at the salon and Lollicup was here to my surprise. Lollicup is one of the boba shops I used to visit when I lived in LA and I'm so happy to see it is making its way into north county SD. I ordered the brown sugar boba and it is a treat! Inside is clean. Plenty of high chairs and standing tables. I'd love to study here when everything is reopened post covid. Service was sweet and atmosphere was chill. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a Thai tea smoothie but received a regular one. When I said it was suppose to be a smoothie, the lady checked the receipt order and said it's not a smoothie that was ordered. She did not want to correct the cashier's error of inputing my order incorrectly. I also tried the takoyaki food item and received it lukewarm with uncooked batter. Unfortunately, I already drove off when I tried this in the car and didn't want to drive back to complain since they didn't correct their first mistake. I guess you don't want to uphold customer satisfaction. POOR customer service with UNDERWHELMING food and drink options so far. Finally my hubby & I decided to go here and check out their $2 drinks special they promoted on Instagram. Unfortunately they stopped the promotion I was kinda of disappointed with them. I had their pix out on my phone so then someone came over n saw it on told us that he was manager of this place. Of course the manager apologized to us. We ordered Thai tea with boba and mango smoothie. I guess my hubby wanted a taro drink in the beginning but then he didn't want it anymore so the manager gave us the taro drink for free. Super happy that a boba place opened nearby! For their grand opening, they had a $2 promotion going on that was supposed to go until Feb. 14th. Then, after 3-4 days of the promo, they took it off their socials and said that they're not doing it? I'm a little confused and sad that they boosted their promos and didn't even honor it until the very end. Isn't that false advertisement? Hope they do better about not lying to their customers/the public. PS. The employees are amazing and incredibly nice. My kids and I usually like coming to this spot few times or more a month since it opened. We usually just order the the usual boba drinks and few food items for my little girls and stay there for a while just to play board games and hang out. Today was not a good day I guess. The lady (that seemed like the owner) was not there today. Saw two young girls working today. We wasn't very satisfied with the drink they or she had made and the takoyaki we ordered looked like it was over cooked/almost burnt. Not only the drinks tasted way different but the sealing they did on the cups were messy. Can't really mess up Thai tea or matcha tea unless you don't care. This place is not cheap so I wanted to get my money's worth. And maybe the machine wasn't working right.. excuses.. Idk ‍ Also the music was pretty loud than normal so I didn't want to stay there longer than we normally would have. Maybe just a new employee vibe or maybe the owners kid/daughter privilege vibe. Got a honey green tea with boba and the total came out to 6.63 dollars. Why is it so expensive!!! This drink barely taste like green tea, it taste like 90% of honey. I think it deserves 3 stars cause yes it's good but be prepared to wait 30 mins for each order. We had been there multiple times and each time we ordered two drinks and had to wait so long for our drinks, mind you it was not busy. The final time we went we ordered ahead because we were ordering food and did not want to wait an hour more for hour food. We place the order and when we get there they forgot the food, after waiting 20 mins for it I told them to just refund us the money. Luckily we found Ding Tea just 2 mins away! Ordered a Guava yogurt drink with boba and blended coffee and both were not good. The Guava yogurt was mostly yogurt with hardly any guava flavoring. The coffee was not freshly brewed coffee but tasted like instant coffee (and not the good instant coffee either). We got a good amount of boba but they were stale and tasted old. Shop was hot and dark, not a very welcoming atmosphere. The prices were high as well. $18 for two regular size drinks with boba, not including tips. Decided order takeout on a whim to try a new spot. Got the short rib rice bowl and a taro milk tea. Honestly not good. The rice is so overcooked and mushy. The meat is super tough and chewy (I couldn't eat it). Comes with 2 pieces of plain broccoli, undercooked, and an egg which was ok but unsure about the flavoring. Radish garnish doesn't really add much. The ground pork is also ok but there's a very small amount. The bowl is 90% mushy rice. Taro milk tea has some kind of curdled texture in it, tastes ok. There was no option to add boba which is a bummer. Overall really disappointing. read more

Really disappointed in the customer service. I ordered two drinks through Yelp (fulfilled by Grubhub) and instead of doing the Courteous thing by giving me a call to see what flavor I wanted to replace a drink that they no longer had (despite it being on the menu) they cancelled the drink all together. When calling to see if I could just replace the flavor, they insisted that I have to edit it through the app- which is literally not an option to do. So in order for me to get my additional drink, I had to pay all the stupid fees again, due to the inability to be flexible and change the flavor they pour into the cup.
