Friendly staff, delicious drinks! I will come back soon and enjoy a drink -- I do recommend this place!

Cute small place you where you can get boba and snacks. The fries and chicken were a bit on the saltier side but it's still very delicious! Lots of wonderful flavors. The drinks are refreshing if you are a big fan of sweet drinks.

Flavorless slush, extremely dry chicken, tofu and clumpy rice.

Thought I'd try this place when I saw it on the Too Good To Go app. So disappointed! Definitely didn't receive $30 value as the page claimed. Food was so gross! It was three wings, fries, a few pieces of chicken bites, a few pieces of tofu, very clumpy rice and a flavorless slush. I'm not a picky person, but this was inedible. Please save your money and take a pass on this place.

Regular lychee smoothie with boba. We ordered a large thai tea smoothie with boba.

Will probably help is the music gets turned down a little bit. We were craving a large thai tea smoothie with boba. We repeated the order twice with the guy and said it will show as pineapple on the screen but he'll make what we wanted. Great! Waited a couple minutes, he calls us. I see the cup and its white. I asked my husband if he ordered thai tea, he said yeah i also told him that it wasn't a large, he gave us a regular cup. Which we confirmed that it was a regular cup with the cashier. And when we tasted it, It was lychee. We got a lychee smoothie with boba in a regular cup. Heyyy, atleast he got the boba right. Better luck next time i guess. I really think if the music isn't as loud, orders will probably be accurate.

The milk tea bring us to your store, im like, ya, i want some more Damn right,if i could, I'd drink 4 Can you teach me? nah you like to charge Sung in the melody of Milkshakes By my ratings, boba is my game. For Lollicup, we got a taro milk tea drink with some boba and pudding and half sweet in the large size. If your like us, we love boba but know how much sugar is in it. So we share. The tough part is deciding on which to Shar bc our taste buds are different. Overall, I'm eh on the taro my my husband is all for it. He slurped it up and I took sips. But I still love boba and will still come back to try something different.

Mangonada was bursting w/ tamarind spice & classic Taro Milk Tea was creamy and tasted like Cookies n' Cream Would love to come back and try their food items next time!

Do not get a large unless you're going to shAre it. We didn't realize a large was humongous. We got milk tea and it was decent, a little too sweet.... The boba was pretty good. They don't have any cheese foam or anything, so that was disappointing. Lots of fried items, we will need to try it next time!

I am so glad that there are more boba places opening up in North County. It is located w plenty of parking off of Oceanside Blvd and College right by Enzos Pizzeria, Thai Thai, Chipotle, McDonalds, etc. The workers provided good service and if you are military affiliated, you get a 15% discount. My sisters ordered the honey milk tea and swear by it. They say to add custard which complements the milk tea nicely. They also recommend getting it w green tea instead of black tea because black tea makes the taste strong. As you can see, they love it so much they order the jumbo size! I usually order the Thai tea and love it. I don't add extra sugar, and felt it was just sweet enough. Another huge plus is that my sister accidentally left her phone and they actually ended up calling her to pick it up. I am always so impressed, happy, and shocked when people actually return an iPhone since I've unfortunately had my phone stolen before and it's not a good feeling so bonus points for that!

Oh man. I almost hate to leave this first review for fear that it will start getting busier than it already is. Then again, I WANT businesses to be busy that are good so that they stay open. Dilemmas and decisions. Ok...review it is! This is brand spankin' new and across from 88 Ranch Market in the center with Jersey Mike's and Gogo Japan. As of right now they don't even have a sign up yet. Just a banner, so look for that...and usually a little bit of a line. Sure we have lots of boba places in town now, but we only have one option that has the food as well...and hmmmm.....not so great. I'm here to tell ya...Lollicup is here! Finally! By now almost everyone has had boba drinks, but have you had popcorn chicken? Oh man... it's about as delicious as it gets. It's crispy textured small pieces of chicken with so much flavor. The flavor comes from Chinese 5 spice, so if that's not your thing, you may not like it. But give it a try. You'll be happy you did. As a matter fact, I would go so far as to say that it will spoil you for chicken and you may just never want a Chicken McNugget ever again. Ever. It comes in mild and spicy with a chili sweet and sour sauce. I never use the sauce because the chicken itself is so delicious without it. I actually ended up getting both by mistake. I ordered mild and they accidentally gave me spicy. Not a problem. They remade my order. They have other foods such as noodles and Taiwanese sausage as well to try. The drinks.... sooo fresh and good! They have options for boba and jellies like most places, but they use fresh fruits and not all syrups like so many boba places. They will also use less sugar if you ask. I got my drink with 1/4 the amount of sugar. You will see some lines because it is a small place and brand new. They are working hard to get the orders out as quickly as possible, so you may have to wait a bit. That's my dilemma. The more people know about it the busier it will get, but that would actually be great because trust me, we WANT more places like Lollicup close by.

Running errands with a friend today when we decided on Jersey Mike's for lunch. Walking towards the place we see a guy wearing a Boba shirt. My friend gets excited and asks if they have some green tea something something ( I don't know Boba ) He says, yes we do, my store is right there. I'm intrigued by the words, "My store" because I love supporting local / family owned businesses. ( I know I'm saying this after stating we were headed to Jersey Mike's). Anyway, after grabbing our food, we walked over to the spot to check it out. The store is immaculate, I loved the decor and look forward to seeing it packed with customers when Covid restrictions are lifted. The guy we ran into, I think his name is Grant, was super friendly. His family own and run the place. His sister was running the register and his mom was busy in the back. My friend got her green tea boba and I ordered an iced coffee. Both were delicious!! I'm not a big fan of the green tea, but my friend loved hers. By the looks of the menu, they have a lot of tasty food options. I was a little disappointed we had Jersey Mike's in hand.... next time!!!! I'll definitely be back again. Maybe next time I'll get a little crazy and actually try Boba!!!!

Drinks here are out of this world! Excellent drink and food menu spread that makes you want this to be your daily stop. Ingredients are always fresh, and drinks are made quickly. And it doesn't stop there! Costumer service and employees are some of the best I have ever encountered. I had the distinct pleasure to order food from Angel and she was absolutely top tier. Very kind and Knowledgeable in her craft. She even took the time to ask me about my day, and genuinely cared about my answer. If it were possible to give 10 stars I would. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Settled deep in Oceanside, just across from Ranch 88, this spot is serving up amazing boba drinks and great Taiwanese foods! We tried a few different drinks, loved all of them. Their boba is perfectly sweet, squishy and chewy. The food was flavored just as I remember from the streets of Taipei. This is a must stop if you are in the neighborhood... or if not, make a special trip like we did! Pro tip: get the steamed Bao. They are melt in your mouth sticky sweet bbq pork goodness!

I like that this place uses the Yelp waitlist because I put my name down as we were on our way over and arrived just in time. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. There are a good amount of tables inside. They also had some TVs showing baseball games around. The service was amazing here. It felt like the waiters and waitresses were constantly eyeing our table to see if we needed anything or were ready to order more. They refilled our water carafe before it was completely empty, changed our grills before we asked, and took away empty plates as soon as we cleared them. I also appreciated that they put salt or something on the ground so it wasn't too slippery. The only complaint I had about the place was that it was really hot but I could see the waitresses were also really hot as they fanned themselves walking around. The food were was actually pretty solid for an ayce restaurant. We got the deluxe plan which is the cheaper option for $30.99. The brisket came with some salt and pepper on it and looked like a better cut than I've seen at other places. We also got some kalbi which came without the bone which is so nice because we didn't have to cut it off and have little meat left over. My husband and I also really liked the marinated steak. I typically like non marinated meat better but the steak was tender and the marinade wasn't too sweet. I used the salt to help cut the sweetness and wrapped it in a lettuce with some radish. I really liked all the meats we tried here. They also have really good sides here that you can't get anymore at a lot of kbbq places like the steamed egg or corn cheese plate. The restaurant is small, cozy, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. It isn't well suited for larger parties as most tables are tables for 2 unless tables are pushed together. Gabriel checked us in, seated us, took our order, served our food and waited on us for majority of our visit, I would give him 10 stars just on his impeccable service. The food though? The food was AMAZING!! Everything we ordered was the best we have ever had anywhere. The buns were very kawaii (and we ordered ever single one to try). The fillings were savory, but we also loved their seasonal panda bun with ube filling while the kids preferred the nutella bunny. Best chicken karaage we've had by far, the coating almost tasted like it was rolled in kinako powder. The ramen broth was "chef's kiss" with so much flavors, the crab rangoon were jumbo and the filling was delicious, but the chicken katsu was also the best we have had anywhere (including Hawaii). I want to start by saying that I very much enjoyed eating at Tabu Shabu. It's very fair to state…read morethat my three star experience is mostly my own doing more so than the restaurant itself. Our server was fantastic, the setup clean, and the menu was fairly easy to navigate. Where it fell apart for me all came after that. This is not my style of cooking. So many places I've been to, where you cook your own food on a grill or hot plate at your table, you're mainly dealing with thin cuts of meat, salt and pepper, and possibly a dipping sauce. This makes the cooking simple, a quick sear, a light crust on the beef or pork, and the finished product is basic and delicious. Shabu, though ... it's boiled meat. That's not to say that Tabu Shabu isn't good, but unless you're really adept at making soups, it's easy to be completely out of your element. And I can safely say I was a bit over my head at this restaurant. You start with your broth, where I am ashamed to admit that instead of opting for the Tonkostu with its deep and rich fatty flavor, I chose the basic umami of the White Miso. Because of that, I spent most of my meal mistakenly chasing flavors I would normally find in a Ramen Shop. They give you a plate of chopped herbs to add and some basic instructions ... I like garlic, so I added the whole thing, radish sound alright, so add in the whole ball, what was the last thing I put in? They give you a few squeeze bottles of oils with paper labels ... this one makes it more sour, this one makes it more spicy, this one has sesame, and I'm too timid to add enough of any to truly add to the flavor of the broth, so it just keeps that basic umami flavor without being as salty as it should be. Then you have a plate of vegetables to steep in your creation. Cabbage, broccoli, spinach, bok choy, tofu ... all of it serves as a way of soaking up that broth you've made. Other options, like the carrots, mushrooms, and squash, become sweet and tender after taking their turns in the pot. And they're nice as they offer a different flavor other than that umami. And then there's the meat. A wide variety of options ranging from salmon, to chicken, to pork, all the way down to multiple versions of beef. But, all of the meats we ordered seem to differ only in texture after spending some time in that broth. Some fell apart on the tongue, some still had a nice chew, but all shared that umami from the pot, with an aftertaste of beefy flavor before swallowing. After a few initial pieces, I found myself thankful for the dipping sauces to distract me from how boring I had made my broth to be. You also get a choice of rice, which I don't think you really need. You get a choice of noodles, which they give you a good amount where it doesn't fill you up with carbs. And anything left over is readily bagged up to eat at home after the flavors mix together and mature. In the end, it's a very filling and fairly healthy meal. I think it's difficult to not compare this to eating a bowl of Pho or Ramen. All the ingredients are there, just instead of eating it with a spoon, you pull out the individual bits with some chop sticks and pretend you're not eating boiled beef and spinach. If I were a better cook, or had another ten visits worth of practice, Tabu Shabu could easily be 4-5 stars. As it is, though, I think I would rather just go to GONZO and get another chef's creation to be sure of the flavors I want. Regardless, I want to come back here and try again one day. The variety of options and the wait staff alone are enough for me to learn more and expand my Shabu options, as well as recommend this place to others.
