I didn't get any pictures but this place is worth a stop & will be a regular visit for us. It's a husband and wife ran business. The coffee is excellent. The owner is very knowledgeable and can explain the different single origins that they're roasting. We enjoyed french toast, lollypops croffin, a mocha & latte. We took two bags of their beans to enjoy at home & a quart of the Sakura ice cream. We will be making a regular trip to Saratoga to stop here. read more

I just had the BEST Curry Chicken Salad (with Mango) on a croissant!!! I had a little layover in Saratoga this afternoon, and my dog and I took in the serene atmosphere of the outdoor patio, while enjoying the beautiful plants as well as some conversation with two young locals. This restaurant is by far one of the best hidden gems in Carbon county. Their coffee is roasted in house and their ice cream is handmade. There are always new, fun ice cream flavors (cherry blossom anyone?) and you can taste the difference in quality. The owners are the servers and they are attentive and speedy. I'd highly recommend their breakfast sandwich as it's freshly made to order, has the best thick-sliced bacon, and keeps me full all morning! We live part time here in Saratoga and we're so fortunate to have some very creative and talented small businesses. One of the newest and most innovative is Lollypops. The proprietors are a husband and wife and they are passionate about their handcrafted ice creams and roasted coffees are some of the highest quality and unique in flavor and crafting that I've ever tried. As a partner in a restaurant and having a great deal of experience in mentoring startups I can honestly say these business owners put their passion and creativity into their craft. I highly recommend trying their flight of flavors that allows you to enjoy 4 flavors. My favorite varieties are those that they craft from herbs including tumeric, and rose! We were in this establishment on a Friday afternoon. The town was busy due to the opening of a new sporting goods store, but this facility was basically empty. I have no idea why the two employees seemed stressed and pushed for time, although there was a "help wanted" sign in the window. I can only guess that the gentleman that came in and stood by the counter and asked, "Why wasn't that done?" is the owner or the manager, but he seemed very angry and abrupt to the teenager that was working the counter. There may have only been two customers but I noticed his tone and I wouldn't work for you, either. With that said, there is the issue of the ice cream. We found the ice cream to be "average". Nothing we couldn't purchase at the grocery store at half the cost. read more

Just went in for a Frappuccino to-go on a warm day and was sorely disappointed with the result. They must have blended the coffee with about 3 pieces of ice because there was absolutely no ice in the drink and it was barely cool. The consistency was that of an ice coffee without the ice. Not to mention that it was $6 and placed in a tiny cup. It was actually warm within about 10 minutes. I am new local and was hoping that this could be my new coffee place, but due to this experience and the extraordinary prices for the coffee (and ice cream) I do not think I'll be coming back. I found the Saratoga Sandwich Company to be less expensive and have better coffee. On a positive note, the ambience in the store was nice and it seemed fairly clean. Side note: The employees were nice but two of them started arguing in front of us about how one of them was always late for their shift and how the other one was tired of covering for them everyday. read more

They have homemade ice cream, shakes, malts, domed, sodas and smoothies. They also have breakfast and lunch here but we came after lunch. The service was struggling to keep up on a Sunday afternoon. The counter service was more worried about the table service before they were worried about those walking up for ice cream. We left after 10 minutes after not being acknowledged. I'm hovering between 3.5 and 4 stars on this one. My pre-college schooling was all in Saratoga and I was indeed here on the scene when Lollypops first opened but believe it or not I never went here. They opened in 1989 and when I finally stepped in here it was 2017! Lol! Lollypops has long been the place to go during the summer for locals and tourists alike over the years. I think Lollypops was strictly seasonal for a while and they were only open during the summers if my memory serves. Since then they have expanded their menu to include breakfast and lunch options and after checking their hours on their window it seems that they are indeed open all year around these days. I have heard from family that the breakfasts here can be hit and miss. On my recent (and first !) visit here it was in Autumn and I definitely was not in the mood for ice cream since there was a chill in the air. I'm not always a big breakfast eater either but I love pastries which they do offer! I got their Dirty Chai Tea which I actually enjoyed a lot! The mix that they used with a blending of coffee made a very good, warming drink! I have no complaints about that in the slightest! The banana muffin that I also got could have been better. It was moist but it wasn't very flavorful and was a bit dull. It looked like the pastries... the muffins at least are made off site and that they are ordered in by a vendor because the packaging had a different name on it than Lollypops. The decor here is very quaint and cute. You can get some tables by the window and enjoy people watching as you enjoy your meal or snack. Whenever it is warm again and I'm back visiting I'd love to try the ice cream since this is what they are best known for and their variety of flavors is very impressive. read more

The food was outstanding. We had the breakfast croissants with eggs, cheddar, and bacon, which were delicious. The people who waited on us, though, you could tell they didn't really want to be there. The young woman taking orders acted as if we'd just interrupted her manicure, and I heard the young guy in the back tell her, "Tell 'em we're out of salsa! Until I get time to dip it out, tell 'em we're out." I guess they might have felt slammed, but a total of 10 people came through to be served in the 20 minutes we were there, and some of them ordered just coffee. A sign said, "Be patient with us. We're new at this." And between good service and good food, I'd opt for the food. Maybe good, friendly customer service is a thing of the past in the post-Covid era. read more

We stopped in for breakfast on a blustery cold Saturday in February. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and a very tasty Eggs Benedict "tomavo" (tomato and avocado) and bottomless coffee. Thus far our best breakfast in Saratoga. Only knock was the brewed coffee tasted a bit weak, with some off flavors. They serve Allegre coffee which is usually ok. So frustrated with this place! Stopped by numerous times, only to find them randomly closed. Hours are not posted, as apparently they like to keep their options open more than their doors! When I finally did manage to find them open one day, I ordered a cappuccino (listed on their menu), only to be told they could NOT do one that day (apparently there was some sort of foam issue). Ended up with an iced Americano, which although was not on the menu, was available. Asked for a business card with hours listed, but they admitted they don't really have "hours". Still, somehow mildly encouraged, wanted to go back for ice cream on the weekend. Decided I would be smart & call for their closing time on Sunday evening. Was told 9 PM. Happily went with my family after dinner, just before 8 PM. But guess what? CLOSED! Really guys? That's just not cool! Do customers really have to call hourly to see if you are still there? I don't know how you stay in business! Oh, & if any potential customers do happen to catch them open, you might want to bring CASH, if you don't want them to charge you a credit card fee. read more

We were staying at the Saratoga resort and I wanted to try the breakfast at Lollypops, but we missed it by about an hour. But we still went for some lunch (and ice cream!) and it was pretty tasty! A little unexpected, but in a good way, for this smaller town. They offered various sandwiches such as bbq brisket, BLT, turkey avocado and bacon, 3 cheese, ham and cheese, and a curry chicken one I think. Bread options included brioche and rye and normal bread options too (I like rye haha). All of the sandwiches came with a pickle and chips or cup of soup or Mac salad or potato salad. I ended up getting the turkey, bacon, avocado on rye with a cup of vegetable beef barley soup and it was really good! My boyfriend also tried a yummy, pretty large chocolate malt, so I helped myself to some of that as well. I also ended up with a scoop of homemade cotton candy ice cream - had rainbow sprinkles in it for texture, not too sweet, tasted pretty good but it was green! Haha, I would think pink or blue since that's the color of cotton candy when I eat it. They have other homemade ice creams as well that I would totally try. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, Cappucino I think. Can't remember what else. Overall, cute place, food was good, and decently priced. Yikes! Do not get food here, microwaved old food, breakfast sausage was like shoe rubber. I could not cut through it, all we could do is laugh. Wait staff never ask how it was, in fact they just disappeared. The breakfast burrito smelled of cigarettes, did not look appetizing. This is a nice little place in Saratoga. Love all the different coffee options that you can select from and the mocha really hit the spot. Came here for a late breakfast and was seated right away. The waitress took our orders promptly and brought the food a few minutes later. The portions were generous and the food was good. I had the "two eggs any style" over easy with white toast and bacon. My friend had the "eggs Benedict" single lox. Not a lot of restaurants are open early or late (past 9) so one thing I'd recommend is to get your food during prime time hours and save some at home if you're visiting. read more

Saratoga is definitely a tourist town. You're not going to find any chain or franchise restaurants or stores. Everything is locally own and everyone knows everyone. My parents live in the area and when I visit Lollypops Sandwiches is always a must. It's really popular with the tourists. Really simple menu for breakfast and lunch. Haven't eaten breakfast there in a long time so can't really remember what's on the menu. Lunch is sandwiches with a choice of chips or the soup of the day or pasta or macaroni salad. Sandwiches are served on crossiants or white, wheat, rye bread. They toast the bread and pile the toppings on. I love the roast beef. It's the best I've ever had. I think they might also have salads. Also known around town for their ice cream and ice cream parlor setting. read more
