Great food and a very good fine we needed a quick meal before leaving the Island. Food was fresh and tasty.

    BBQ chicken, potatoes, and salad

The food is REAL and made/served the way it should be. They make dishes to order the day of and when they run out that's it. I had the bbq chicken, potatoes, and salad. It was so fresh and authentic with just enough seasoning, I suspect nutmeg, to make the food sing without taking away anything from the original flavor. For dessert the Basque cheesecake was a delight beyond description. How they achieved that texture I will never know. My husband had the grilled cheese. Ten out of ten.

A great deli style lunch spot! The tuna melt was flavorful and delicious - an elevated and refined version of what you would make at home! Great outdoor seating, and indoor seating too f you want.

Broccoli salad and amazing watermelon with feta.

Five stars. Well deserved. We stopped in for a snack. They have ice cream and baked goods but we got broccoli salad, watermelon and a cucumber salad. They were all super good and fresh. I know - getting fired up about roasted broccoli but it was seriously good. You can sit inside or outside. Beer and wine on site. Enjoy.

    yummy spring food

This is the most delicious, classic but modern food on the island with a home-cooked feel to it. The restaurant itself is beautiful and warm, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Seriously, the food tastes like home and is so yummy. This place is a ten out of ten; you have to try it!

    Delicious!

What a gem of a find! In the 40+ years I've been visiting Orcas this is the best meal I've had on in the islands. Thoughtful recipes for veggies and salads, and excellent entrees. Cute indoor and beautiful outdoor patio or lawn seating among the pines. Great coffee too.

The food here is amazing! Yum, yum, yum! Lots of options for all dietary needs. Fresh ingredients, sustainable set up. Service was excellent and kind. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend.

Yuuummm on every level. Spencer and Sabrina are offering something for everyone- delicious food, sweet treats, picnic items, delicious wines, and beers and nonalcoholic fancy drinks. So goood!

Beautiful lunch spread and happy customer!

Good food but there could be more variety of meats, pates, olives and the like. None the less it's nice to have it here on the Island!

We got Wild Mushroom strudel to start, then got Pasta alle Vongole, and Lamb risotto. The Wild Mushroom strudel was good, loved the mushroom filling. The location is wonderful. Water views, downtown, so it's easy to get around. Parking was easy and even though we were early for our reservation they sat us right away. The mids- when I made the reservation online I made a note about it being a very special birthday for my wife. I did not expect anything for free, but I anticipated they might at the minimum say something. Not one person ever mentioned it. The lows. The service, well intended, but under trained. I won't list everything but the prime example is once the food was dropped the server did not show up again until we were almost done. The food was sub par. We had Miso glazed cod and French onion soup. We weren't happy with either. By the looks of reviews, our experience was not normal. We hope it is just due to going before the tourist season starts. No matter the reason, it was a big let down.

Having made reservations beforehand, we were really excited to try this place out. The servers who greeted us were really nice. The restaurant had a beautiful dark interior that gave off a cozy steakhouse vibe. They even offered to take my coat, how nice of them! Despite the hospitality, the food did not really live up to expectations. I got the birria, and while it was okay, it definitely wasn't worth the price I paid. My girlfriend's scallop crudel was almost as pricey and it did not even fill her up. I believe the bill for our whole meal (including a mocktail) was over $80. This was definitely not worth the price point paid for, considering that we were not fully satisfied with that meal. Regardless, many thanks to the Monti staff for having us.

The chicken liver with summer tomatoes was magnificent, even if they needed an extra slice of sourdough to finish the plate. The star was the roasted pork belly. I've had many in my day but this was the crown jewel of belly's - succulent, tender inside and crispy edges, and the flavor was off the chart delicious. Rigatoni with lamb did not disappoint and pasta was cooked to perfection. Saved room for chocolate mousse and it was excellent and not too sweet. Wine pairings supported the wonderful meal. I look forward to returning and trying all the dishes we didn't select. This place has it over Rosario and Madrona. Your wallet will be lighter but not unreasonably so.
