Been tubing at this location quite a few times and never had any issues. If you're tubing, you have to park at the lot on the lower level adjacent to the river. Depending on whether you've come on a weekend or weekday rates vary so check their website or give them a call. Parking will include 1 or 2 tubes (weekday/weekend). Also, come early! Once you pay the parking attendant and they'll give you a slip which you'll take up to the restaurant where you'll pay for any additional tubes and sign wavers. You'll also choose your route based on how long you'll want to float. There are bathrooms where you can change. Small but available. When you're ready, make your way back down and load up on the shuttle and tell your driver which route you've chosen. There's food and drinks available for purchase. Since you're outside city limits, you can bring cans and plastic on the river but make sure you dispose of trash in a plastic bag and NOT in the river. Overall, staff at lone star is very helpful and happy to serve customers. Definitely a chill vibe so be ready to just sit back and relax and enjoy the river. On our expedition, we saw some goats climbing the cliff sides so keep an eye out for wild life! It was entertaining to see.

Good spot to start a river float and finish with a great burger. It's $25 to park but you get it credited back when floating. Free to park if eating. Did the 2-3 hrs float and thoroughly loved it. They have easy onsite parking and a great staff and drivers. Beautiful views from the patios of the San Marcos river perfect place to sit

Well Yelp removed my first post because they didn't like my comments... or LSG paid to have it removed. It was nothing wrong with my review... the place had a great view. Service was good. Beer cold. Fun to watch rafters. Ok burgers. Felt a bit pricey- but its a beautiful location and I am sure high rent district. What I didn't like is a well done dry burger... I prefer my burger medium and juicy. I was told they cannot cook burgers other than well... so i used the letters w.. ya know what...and guessing that was inappropriate. Whatever! If i go to the river again, I might eat there.

Wow! Greeted by a super hilarious and friendly parking attendant. The cashiers were helpful with wifi and taking our orders for the amazing food they cook. Hot burgers and hot fries after floating is the way to float. The staff helped us get onto the river and off the river. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this outfit again, next time I float the river.

So sad! I make a black bean burgers that looks and tasted the same at home. Their veggie burger is such a rip off.

My fellow Yelp peeps, avoid this place. It's not worth your time and money. Where to start? 1). The wait on a Saturday is ridiculously. We waited in line for 30 minutes and their check out system is so flawed. There's a huge lack of organizantion. 2). They give you black tubes to float on. Don't expect a cup holder on your tube... Just burns all the way 3). Expect a hike instead of a float. There was nothing fun about this part of the river. You're going to have about 12" of water from your rear to the bottom. 4). The food wait is long and over priced. 5). I should have put this in the beginning but they're charge you over $50+ if you bring your own tube.

Music on the deck on Sunday night.

Drove down lots of winding country roads at around 10 pm to get here, needless to say i was a bit apprehensive. But.... Absolutely loved the atmosphere, very family friendly, I saw dogs and little kids wandering around. I ate BBQ and drank ice tea on the porch over looking the river while a country singer charmed us all with his guitar and southern drawl. The food is excellent, all my companions cleaned their plates. It was a perfect place to spend a Texas summer night. All the waitresssss were friendly and expect at least 45 minutes for your orders on a crowded night. A patron made a racial comment to a member of my group but the owner offered to kick the person out if we identify them (we didn't bother, that type of people don't deserve our attention). Im glad that they take their sign seriously "be nice or get out"!

The outside isn't exactly glamorous and I made double sure to lock my doors before entering. The place inside is exactly what one would think it would be like before entering. I'm about to get brutal so apologies in advance but the "devil is in the details." First I believe the younger, college age crowd sticks closer to downtown San Marcos. As my friend would say "there's no talent here." I'm not exactly propping myself up as some model, but most people here are calorie infused and starting about 35 years and up. In other words, it's a dive bar. Now before I let this go, all the people here were very nice and just wanting to have a good time. That means I felt safe. The staff were ok. I like the festive and cheap drinks so that's a bonus however I'm not sure how fast they are for serving if there's a crowd. When I was there it wasn't exactly populated. As for food I didn't order any so I can't be of assistance. Now, they do have a lot of large TVs and pool tables to keep one entertained. A word of advice, don't look up as the tiles look like they're holding back the mold. I'm not saying I Don't Know is horrible, I think they're just who they are. Since reviews can be factual yet subjective it's important to note we all enjoy different aspects of life. This place didn't jive with me so I won't be back. If it's close to you, I encourage you to stop by as it might be what you're looking for.

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned. Can't wait to do another Moz Smiths Disco here. -- Panic On The Streets of San Antonio

You go way to the back and down a steep flight of stairs. My son, his wife, and I left my wife and grandbaby in the saloon and headed down. When you get down there, you are suddenly in a beautiful Tiki bar with so many amazing things to gawk at. It sort of felt like waking up in OZ. We were the first people there, so we got to sit at the bar and watch our drinks being made. They have about 15 or so different specialty tiki drinks. Each one comes in a particular piece of glassware. I don't know how the bartender keeps them straight. He was constantly pouring different things into a shaker. Then he would shake it and pour it into the glass that was already filled with crushed ice. One of the drinks even had a smoking cinnamon stick. My drink was really good. It was the Three Dots and a Dash. It came in a barrel and was decorated with a skull toothpick that had three cherries and a piece of pineapple to represent the dots and dash. It was super strong! I was ready to risk it all and go for another drink, but it had gotten packed inside the bar. We could tell the bartender was stressing. They really need two for times like that. My wife spends the night at my son's house in New Braunfels every Thursday to give them a date night. Evidently, this is where they always go. I can certainly see why!

Make sure to carry a waterproof bag to store your valuables, such as phones, etc. They sell some for $20 in case you need to buy one or forget to bring one. They also have a complimentary locker to use if needed, but it's on a first come first basis, and it's also limited. 3. Bring plenty of sunscreen to apply throughout, as it gets HOT. Bring sunglasses, hats, H2O, or any hydration to stay hydrated; NO GLASS, CANS, or STYROFOAM CONTAINERS. You can bring a Yeti or reusable water bottle. You can bring snacks, but they have to be in a reusable container. **Coolers are allowed, but they must be no larger than 30 quarts and have some sort of locking mechanism, or else you'll lose your items going through the chutes. 4. Children under 4 are not allowed to float the river for safety reasons. Children 5-8 years old and weak swimmers must wear life jackets at all times. 5. Wear water shoes. 6. No lifeguards throughout the river. ONLY when going through the chutes. 7. You can bring your own floating tube, but it can only be for a single person tube, or you can rent one from them. If you do bring your own, they had a pump station you can use to blow up your tube.
