Absolutely love coming here. All of the bartenders are nice and the food is always good. They've changed the menu a couple times and did get rid of the Gyro, which was disappointing, but I'm still not mad because they added a couple options that are really elevated the menu. The deviled eggs are a personal favorite of mine and they have really good wings. The pulled pork nachos are still a favorite of all my friends that I bring here even though I don't eat pork, they look and smell really, really good. read more

We personally enjoyed it here. We went during the day on a Sunday. There were people but not over crowded at all. We were able to order quickly at the bar downstairs. Ordered a rum punch. Paid $7. We went upstairs to the patio area. They also have a bar upstairs. We were able to find seating at the edge of the patio. It was a beautiful day to be outside. We loved the music they had playing (country music). We had been wanting to come to this place for a while. So glad we were finally able to make it out. read more

We gave this place a try on a beautiful breezy evening. We ate/drank on the rooftop to get the full effect, and it was awesome! My husb & I grabbed a draft beer, and the pretzel sampler appetizer. We split the Nashville Hot Chix sandwich. Everything was great! We sat at the bar and the service was great- bartenders friendly. As a local, we'll definitely be back soon during the spring & summer. Awesome joint!!! Great drinks. Excellent service! Multiple options for seating, with multiple bars (2 inside, 1 rooftop & a courtyard). All with TVs for viewing sporting events & such. The entire staff is super friendly & extremely helpful. Live music regularly. Shoutout to Chris & the entire staff for providing above & beyond service. Came here today while my fiance was having lunch with a friend at Muck and Fuss. My best description of the atmosphere is fancier sports bar. There was a football game on all five of the TVs in the indoor bar area. have many different areas that you can enjoy a drink. There is their indoor bar. They have an outdoor area in the back. They also have a rooftop bar. There is also a front patio that does allow dogs according to the sign. There should be a spot here that suits your preference. The staff are friendly and attentive. My first drink here was an Old Fashion that I though they did a good job of preparing. I finished off with a Lone Star. I spent most of my time in the indoor bar area. The air conditioning was nice here. They do have fans in their outdoor areas. I recommend this place for good drinks and service if you want to watch the game. I did not try their food as I had already eaten. Hopefully I can try their food the next time that I am in the area read more

Stopped by to watch the fight, our bartender was pretty chill, he made sure that we were engaging with him as well as giving my boyfriend and I time to talk and hang out. First time here was for a private birthday celebration. We were in the Whiskey Room which was nice, but hot! The lights in there were making us sweat. The cocktails are delicious, but our poor bartender didn't have the bar appropriately stocked so our poor gal had to go to the main bar for almost every drink. There was a p-trap pipe in the ceiling that was dripping, which was gross since we could only think it was for the bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms, there are not many 2 per each gender, so be prepared to wait in line. The cocktails are great, but the draft beer selection isn't great if you like craft- pretty mainstream stuff. My husband and I got a burger and hot chicken sandwich. They came out fast and were hot, fresh and delicious! The portions are definitely a good size, so be hungry! Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. It's hot, lines to the bathroom and the atmosphere is just okay. read more

I really wanted to love this place. My group and I had been looking forward to checking it out for a while, but our experience was so uncomfortable that we left within minutes. When we walked in, the bar was nearly empty. We sat down quietly, looking over the menu and talking about how excited we were to finally be here. Unfortunately, the bartender made it very clear that we were not welcome. I overheard her speaking negatively about our group to other patrons, before we had even ordered anything. It created an immediate divide in the room and made the atmosphere tense and uninviting. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that we were the only people of color in the bar. I hate to assume the worst, but the way we were singled out felt unfair and unnecessary. No customer should ever feel out of place or talked about by staff, especially without any reason. We ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how guests are treated, because this could have been a great spot...but unfortunately, the hospitality was not. read more

They had advertised a new brunch menu, including $15 bottles of champagne w/ juice, so me and a couple of my friends went Saturday. The champagne is actually wine (whatever) and the juice is from a can. Not great. The worst part of the visit was the service. My friend arrived early and sat at the bar on the rooftop and didn't get so much as a glance. When we arrived, we sat next to her and also didn't get any service. It was not super busy, we were clearly being ignored. Had to ask for service, and then the bartender was extremely rude. A friend ordered the avocado toast, said it was terrible. My friends and I came here Saturday night and I really wanted to love this place as we've seen Randy Rogers quite a few times at other locations. The place was absolutely packed, which we kind of expected, but I was surprised at how small the venue actually is. It's section off to provide different experiences, depending on where you are in the venue, but because of the amount of people it just made it seem dark, chaotic and claustrophobic. They have a first floor that has a rollup garage door that allows there to be inside/outside seating and there are several TVs sports playing. Upstairs is the rooftop, which also has a bar. And if you go completely to the back of the building, there is a kind of secluded area that has turf and some tables that you can sit at and eat, which is pretty quiet. My friends and I all ordered drinks and we all ordered pretty much the same thing, but the consistency was just not there depending on who made the drink. So some of us were happy with our drinks, others, not so much. We ordered two appetizers, the candied bacon and artichoke dip and the loaded fries. When the dip came out, it did not have any candied bacon so we had to ask for that and the girl who brought it out didn't seem to know that it was supposed to be on there. Luckily, she was able to get us some quickly from the kitchen. The dip was pretty good especially with the candied bacon. The chips are homemade out of flour tortillas and I'm not quite sure if they are my taste or not...I don't know...They were just kind of thick and I was hoping for a nice crispy chip . The loaded fries were really good and the caramelized onion really made a difference in the flavor. When we first got there there was a large ceiling fan going downstairs which really kept the air moving. At some point that fan stopped working and it got very hot in there very quickly. We really wanted to go upstairs at that point for some better airflow which we did, but it was just way too crowded. You couldn't even really stand up there comfortably. Being that it was a Randy Rogers bar I was hoping to see some memorabilia. All I saw was two display cases and that was it and to be honest I didn't even get a chance to go over and check them out. The walls are black and bare aside from the TVs, which could be just in part of them being brand new open, but there's nothing in this place that really says "Randy Rogers". They did have a couple of "specials" on the drinks, but nothing special or significant or even the Randy Rogers drink special for example. I don't know that I would come back to this place on purpose, there are a couple of other better bars right here local in New Braunfels. read more

Ordered a martini and Comal colada but asked for it not to be too sweet. Menu said made with tequila. It was sweet so I asked for another shot of tequila that I would pay for but was told it was rum. I looked at the menu and it said tequila. Upon paying I told the bartender that the menu said tequila and she said that she made a regular pins colada with rum. I paid for something I didn't order and an extra shot of rum!! read more

A group of 13 went for Happy Hour. We were a bit worried about the cold, but we're happy to find they had sufficient indoor seating on the first floor for our group. They had some happy hour drink specials including $5 glasses of wine, with a generous pour. There are no happy hour food specials, but we tried several things. I had a Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were great, and the meat in the sandwich was hot and very tender. My only suggestion is that they could go a little lighter on the mustard. Friends enjoyed the burgers, wings and spinach artichoke dip. Everyone seemed happy with their selections. Our bartender was friendly and efficient and encouraged us to make them our choice for our regular happy hours. The biggest issue for us was the seating. Since we are a slightly older group and some of us are short or have back trouble, we would prefer lower, more comfortable seating with backs (the seating is counter height metal stools with no backs). This likely won't be an issue for most groups, though. I look forward to going back again, especially when it warms up and we can enjoy the outdoor areas. read more

The only thing Lost and Found were the servers and bees! I love the concept of this place but food service was non-existent, at least upstairs. The servers could not find their tables, you had to go to the bar to order your food and drinks which you also had to pick up yourself, and the bees were everywhere! We had booked the whole bottom floor of this place back in November for a private couple shower for March. We had been in contact with them non stop picking out food, decor etc and even met in person multiple times to go over where everything was going to be set up. The night of the party we get there early to set up and they tell us we only had the whiskey room. We had rented the whole downstairs considering we had a party of 100 people coming. This was their mistake and they did not offer any sympathy or accountability. We had many people from out of town coming in and it caused a lot of stress. A lot of money was spent to reserve this and they did not honor anything they told us. We were missing food that we had pre ordered and felt over the service was not good at all. I am very disappointed in how everything played out and would tell anyone to steer clear of this place. read more

We arrived and were not greeted or even acknowledged that we were there. No service whatsoever. I would give it less than one if I could.

I visited this establishment with high hopes. Busy but not crowded, I sat at the bar in front of 4 workers & waited 6 minutes to be acknowledged. They were in a cluster laughing & talking. When they were forced by other patrons to disburse two of the staff stood behind the bar with their faces in their cell phones. They are surrounded by competition but acted like they were the only bar in town. This is not a recipe for success. I'm a local & a big fan of Freiheits. They need real adult supervision & an improved attitude or they're doomed to fail. It's a beautiful bar but what a disappointment. The staff acted surly with each other which was annoying. Asked for a Hopadillo since it's on happy hour for $3, bartender gave us the bottle which at check out we saw was $6.50 and not on happy hour. My friends traveled from out of town and we took them to visit this bar. The food was nice but the bartenders upstairs were questionable. The older staff upstairs were rude and made me feel as if I was a hassle to them and I am the customer, there were two specific. We went upstairs first when we arrived and the bar was packed, we eventually went to get a drink and the bartenders saw us standing there and deliberately ignored us for about 10 minutes. After that we gave up and went downstairs. Downstairs we immediately got helped but we kind of had to beg for drinks? it was such a weird experience. There was no one downstairs and the bartender had the worst attitude and clearly did not enjoy helping us or making our drinks. When we closed out, she slammed the pen down and just did not say anything at all. It was our first time here and we did nothing to them to deserve the attitude we received.
