It included a large fish fillet, oysters, large shrimp, coleslaw, French fries. We were not impressed. The oysters were very small and strong. My husband's fillet was not cooked all the way, it was thick. The coleslaw was ok, tartar sauce is made in house. The large shrimp were delicious:) The gentleman that is the head cook was very cordial. Ship the oysters but the rest was very good.

If you go too early, they won't even have any seafood out for presentation, and if you come too late, they will likely have sold out or have already taken the bounty away for the day. We came in one morning after buying shrimp from another place in town and mainly just wanted blue crab and fish. They didn't have blue crab, so we settled on snow crab. We also liked the red snapper here, so we got 2. I was also looking at cajun seasoning and their selection is very, very limited. I only saw one little baggie of seasoning. Would have been nice if they had more for those people that cook from home. I didn't end up purchasing the seasoning. The total came out to around $125 which I thought was a little high for what we got, but there aren't many other options in town. Service was ok, but not the friendliest.

Outside crunch was a good thickness and the inside flavor was moist and yummy. It came with a homemade remoulade that was the perfect accompaniment. For dinner I had the Crab Crusted Redfish. The crab was mild, the redfish was cooked perfect with a thin line of crisp edges. The risotto was very thick, the consistency of stiff mashed potatoes. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

I had originally tried to come here for dinner the previous night and sort of glad I didn't bring my big group here as their prices are a little high with a big group and the wait was crazy long that night anyway. Entree prices range from 28-62 for most items, unless you order basic fried seafood or their pasta dish. I did grab some oysters while I was here. The bartender indicated they were farm-raised from Port Aransas and similar in size as east coast oysters, which I prefer over Gulf oysters. The oysters ended up being very good and clean, but they are definitely briny. The oysters are served with just cocktail and horseradish...nothing special. Their lemon is covered with a net to capture the seed, which is a common feature at nicer restaurants. They also open your Tabasco bottle for you. I enjoyed my cocktail, but it is something I have made at home, so it wasn't anything too special for me.

Most of the mangers at this store are soo rude. Is the ghetto worst store I've ever been to. I do not recommend to go here at all. They're always out of stock on things as well. They don't even have a lot of stuff as the other H-E-B is due so I don't know why everybody everybody's lying and saying oh this is a good store. They have everything no they don't... They don't even be in competition, so of course they think they're a better store or whatever the case may be.

This trip we stayed in a TownePlace suite, with a mini kitchen that has an oven, so we made dinner ourselves each night. We visited this HEB as it was on the way back from the beach... this is the grocery store in Port Aransas on the mainland (not on Mustang Island)... we visited on Pi day, 3.14 / 3/14 / March 14. And, like so many grocery stores now a days, they had pie specials... - $3.14 for two slices (mix n match flavors) - $3.14 for a half pie (same flavor) - $3.14 off a full pie We got a couple slices and some chicken which we grilled back at the restaurant. A clean store. Great food selection. Great staff... especially the nice lady keeping the pi / pie table filled - thank you! ----- ----- -----

Had no idea exactly how it worked or much else other than online recommendations and food photos along with the information. We truly enjoyed it. Great use of space. A true island and luxury vibe. We ended up having the honey crab and king crab. I'd never had honey crab before and thought it was OK, my wife really enjoyed it. Not quite as sweet as our king crab (which was out of this world) and the texture was closer to Dungeness crab. Pros-the crab was delicious and the portions were spot on. The shrimp were the biggest I've ever seen and the homemade cocktail sauce was zesty and delicious. The limited bar top was intimate. We really enjoyed our server/bartender. The hot wet towel at the end was lovely. And the butter was very unique! Garlicy and mushroomy, very umami-very amazing! Cons-you really only have an hour to order, have your food prepared, and finish eating. We felt very rushed considering we had to crack everything before we ate it. We got lucky and were able to stay a bit longer before the next group came in, but we didn't have time for dessert and that was disappointing. The froze was not worth it, we didn't have time to drink it and it tasted like a frozen limeade more than a froze. The entrees don't come with sides. Not that we would have had time to eat them, but it would have been nice for the price point. $60 and $100 per crab entree a pound each.
