I had the same issue with mine, but in my case I had never used it and a couple of days ago I opened it up to charge it for an up coming trip. And the flashlight wouldn't come on but the torch worked fine. I contacted them and was told to try and hold the power button down because it might be in sleep mode. When that didn't work, i contacted them again and asked for a replacement and they basically said they couldn't do anything. Terrible experience and customer service. I purchased the little Red Riot Light from Lone Survivalist weeks ago and I really loved the little rechargeable flashlight except.... The supplied battery goes dead overnight while fully charged and sitting on my desk! After repeated recharging, the battery still goes dead. I purchased a new pair of batteries and charger unit and still got the same results. Dead batteries! All I can assume is the circuitry in the unit is defective. I tried everything to contact the seller. I emailed them & texted them twice each with no reply. I like this little design so much that I stated I don't want a refund, I want a Fully Tested replacement Red Riot Light! Zip... Zero... Nada!!! As cool as some of their products look. I stopped in with a question as I'd placed an order to gift on Thanksgiving and was afraid it wouldn't arrive on time. The customer service representative was very kind and was able to get me a lower cost in stock from the back. I'd preferred black as that's what my giftee usually wears. Because there was no new available in the back stock in that color, he gave me a bonus heat charger for the inconvenience of the grey. This is the same gentleman who took the time to tell me about a good number of products when I first visited looking at the flashlights. He also explained the charge battery box instructions to simplify it when I asked so I could share it when the gift is given. I'm no tech savvy mind and that alone was much appreciated. Do NOT do business with this company!! My last 2 orders were missing items or were not sent at all after purchase. My first order was for 3 Nuke Lights, only one was sent. My second order was for a Black Lantern and Medical Go-Bag and all I received was a catalog and some brochures. After contacting them the first time I was finally sent the other 2 Nuke Lights I ordered but it took a long time, 2 weeks. After placing the 2nd order and receiving nothing, I contacted them again but this time I received no answer. I emailed them at least 5 times over a weeks time to include a photo of the empty box and even left a phone message but I heard nothing back. The worst part was that they charged my card for the whole purchase!! I finally wrote to the guy I went thru with my 1st order and he stated that they basically called me a liar about not receiving all the items I purchase and would no longer do business with me! I purchased 2 flashlights and I have had constant issues with the rechargeable batteries. The company did replace one and it had a non-working battery. I emailed them again suggesting they may have a battery supplier issue. Here is their response: "Thank you for letting us know! It definitely is a supplier issue we have been dealing with recently. I can't encourage you to try and fix the broken batteries-Lithium Ion batteries have quite a strong tendency to explode. Here are the specs of the battery that's inside of the Nuke Lights: The Nuke Light Cell Volts = 4.2 V Ampere-hour = 2,500 mAh Watt-hour = 10.5 Wh Approximate weight = 1.5 oz Quantity = 1 Total Watt-hour = 10.5 Wh I can ship you a new one yet again if you want, but I unfortunately can't guarantee that the battery is going to be any better." I am giving zero stars! This has been an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this company. It has taken them 2 1/2 weeks for me to receive a headlamp. (I still have not received the product) it took them 4 days to even ship the product. I reached out to customer service and they said there is nothing they could do. As they are a "small business" and are sorry they have upset many customers with the delay in receiving their orders. Even before they shipped my product I asked them if they could refund my shipping and or overnight it and still said nothing they could do. I wish that I had read the reviews of this company before I ordered. I placed an order in July and it shows it shipped via UPS. I have yet to receive the shipment. It shows delayed at a UPS facility in Virginia. UPS can't find it and told me to file a claim in their system. Their system rejected the claim saying the shipper does not allow claims.
