This place needs lot of work. Price is ok but coupon is not specific and only good for dine in. Sushi bar looks good at first. But on first bite rolls are slimy and not fresh testing. Seaweed is not crunchy and rolls have no flavor. Dont even touch the sashimi. I have no idea where they bought that fish from but it seems to taste like it was frozen and de thawed and frozen and de thawed again several times. Also the lunch /dinner time needs some separation. It must be driving you guys nuts to switch from lunch to dinner in 2 minutes. You should take a 2 hour break to allow lunch people to finish and you guys sometime to take a break and setup for dinner. Just a thought. This is what we found. $22.95 per person dinner price for all you can eat Chinese/Mongolian BBQ buffet with 150 plus items. Also fresh fruit, salad bar, and desert. Delicious new Cajun menu! We enjoyed Combo #1 Crawfish & Mussels in Cajun Sauce and we also ordered an extra order of 1 pound of crawfish -- so yummy! We're going back soon to try the Garlic Butter seasoning. Crawfish and mussels were large sized and cooked just right. My mom and I were washing our hands in the restroom when we witnessed one of the workers come out of the bathroom and walked out WITHOUT WASH HER HANDS!! In the light of the COVID-19, we should all be washing our hands ESPECIALLY EMPLOYEES who handle our drinks or food! They sat us, took our drink orders and we served ourselves. We had to ask for silverware. They rolled their eyes when we asked for napkins. This used to be Golden Dragon which was a decent buffet. I came to Lone Tree Buffet and it used to be ok. This time I went, I don't know what happened but I could tell a big difference in the food. I asked if they changed ownership and they did. The food is mediocre at best. It was the first time I went to any of the buffets at this spot that was very disappointing. The usual dishes I liked were not up to par. Watered down foods like hot and sour soup, sushi looked like it will give you a stomachache and not fresh, honey walnut shrimp's fried outer part was mush, won tons for soup were clumps and it did not even resemble meat inside, etc. My favorite chicken and broccoli did not taste the same at all and the broccoli were almost raw( needed to cook a bit more). Overcooked melted mushy sticky rice in leaf wrap w/hardly any mushrooms and meat filling. I hope the food improves bc it was a special treat for a quick dinner and I want this to stay open, BUT it really has to work on the food! Right now, better to go to an actual Chinese restaurant that is not a buffet. read more

I ordered dishes for my birthday party but the next day I called and canceled my order due to COVID reasons and told me it will be refunded to my account. A few days later I check my account my refund is not in my account yet. I called the restaurant and told me to come in and show my receipt and my card so I can get my refund. Went in there and told me there was no transaction happening the female cashier even noticed me and said that she was the one who took my order she said that I order food to go, witch, witch is not what happened that day when I ordered. She refused to give me my refund and instructed me to go to my bank of America across the street to dispute the transaction despite showing my receipt and bank transaction history the money was cleared in my account. We reserved for a lunch party of 40 here after a baptism. They took our party in the back big room & we fit comfortably with 7-8 open tables still open for others outside of our party. They took our drink orders & were VERY ATTENTIVE! I can't stress this AWESOME part of their customer service enough. They took our plates promptly & went around with pitchers of drinks refilling our cups at our table. *its always the SMALL things that stand out the MOST! Food selection was plenty & our party, including my picky kids loved it. To be honest there were literally 6-7 chicken dishes. Only food compliment- no PINEAPPLE! I love how spacious the food buffet is, no bumping into people or feeling cramped. Restaurant was very clean as well. If you want to reserve a large party for a future date, it's a $100 fee. Not a deposit that goes towards your bill, but a straight up fee you just give them. It's not unheard of, but this is rare at any establishment and their food is not good enough to justify such a fee. Food is Ok, but it's not the food that made me take the time to write this review. Just left there today and the whole place is unsanitary filthy. My shoes kept getting stuck on their sticky floor and the crew, manager included, seems impervious to this condition as they kept walking around the same dirty floor. I saw several crew member just standing around the kitchen and the front area at an extended period of time with their hands behind their back and fails to see the mess. To top it all off, before eating, I went to the men's bathroom to wash my hands, as I was washing my hand, one of the soap dispenser was empty and noticed the a few crumpled up paper towel litter the floor, One of toilet is clogged up, while the other one was occupied, urinary was worse, one was full of vomit and I didn't dare approach the other one. I immediately went to front and asked the most mature person to have someone look at the men's room. She said Ok, as I sat on the table I can't help to observe if any of the staff would care enough to address or notice this condition. I saw one waiter, took a broom and the dust pan and appeared to sweep something off the carpeted area, but none took any action to address the sticky tile with spilled fluid. When I was ready to leave after 45 min to hour, Out of curiousity, I could not help to see if they cleaned the men's room and built up the courage to check. THE ANSWER IS NO! Let me ask the owner of the establishment if you happen to read this, who do you think is responsible for cleaning up after the customer? Been coming here for the past 3-4 weeks, so happy to discover this place. Food quality and quantity is amazing, always bringing new fresh food out. They have so many selections to choose from and for the price they charging it's unbelievable. They give you more for your moneys worth not like other buffet near the city. Worth my 1 hour drive here. I came for lunch and dinner before but to be honest I think their dinner options are much Better!! Sashimi, clams, scallops, huge shrimp, and 8 different selections of ice cream and much more! Highly recommended to come check out the place if you in the area. The food was really good. The only thing I didn't like was the service. We were a group of LESS than 10 and it took them a while to refill our drinks and give us napkins. As we were about to pay the FULL amount in cash, the lady who took the money said it wasn't enough because we "NEEDED" to add the tip with it and she pointed at the 15% requirement. Tbh if they wanted people to tip them their "requirement" then they should've added it to the bill instead of making it optional for customers. I've been to many different restaurants my whole life but never had I ever had a worker talk to us that way demanding a tip.
