I met a friend here upon her suggestion. She had been here few times with her husband and says it was ok. I checked other Yelp reviews before going. My server, Kellie, started out fine. I ordered Strawberry Margarita. She had to check to see if they had the mix which was slightly annoying to start off because this makes me think the bar is probably not well run and stocked. The drink was ok but I didn't want another one. For entree I ordered salmon, mashed potatoes and green beans. The salmon was dry but it was ok and I ate it. I don't recommend it. The green beans were ok but I didn't eat them, the mashed potatoes were so bad, I asked Kellie if I could have side salad instead. She told me yes for a $2 up charge. I was a bit surprised that one, she didn't apologize for the bad potatoes and two, that she was still going to charge $2 when the potatoes were awful. I didn't tell her how bad they were, I just said they weren't good. They smelled and tasted old and were somehow burnt like they came scraped up from the bottom of dish they were made in a week ago? Idk. How do you burn mashed potatoes? When Kellie came back with my salad, my friend asked (very nicely) if it was necessary for the up charge because the only reason I ordered it was due to the bad potatoes. She restated the policy and was firm on that $2. I just kinda thought it was funny and muttered "lame." Maybe I shouldn't have said that, but it was lame. She didn't even offer to "go ask the manager" or anything. Whatever. But When she came back at some point to clear the plates, I asked for a Mike's Hard Lemonade. She came back and told me they were out. I was so annoyed by the whole experience at this point, I said something like, "this is a bar right?" Well, apparently you are supposed to take a crappy bar, bad food, sit at your sticky table with poor customer service and like it because she blew up at me. She said, "Look I don't make the food or order the alcohol so you don't have to be rude to me!" I said, "Well I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be rude to you." She just stood there fuming for a minute staring at me then finally asked if I wanted a tall or a short. I could literally feel her angry energy and was just kinda sitting there in shock. Well, she had another server bring our second round of drinks and then the bill. No explanation of anything, no one coming to see if I was upset, nothing. I made two comments that I guess I shouldn't have but really were pretty low level rude and not meant to be directed at her personally. I felt kinda bad, but kinda not. I left her over 25% tip out of guilt for upsetting her, not that anyone there cared if I was upset lol. I've worked as a server and you need pretty thick skin for that job. If I can upset her that much, what the heck does she do when someone is actually very rude and unreasonable? I don't recommend this establishment despite other's reviews here on Yelp. read more

This was my first time here. We met a couple friends for a quick bite and sat at the bar. The doors were all open which made it super cold in the bar area. We ordered potato skins as an appetizer. I ordered the lightning burger, medium well, and he got the 14oz steak dinner, medium rare. The skins were pretty good, 4 come in an order. My burger was square (frozen patty?), over cooked, a bit charred actually, so it was pretty dry. Good thing it's topped with mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese. The fries came out looking like they were cooked a while ago and sat under a heat lamp. His steak was cooked perfectly, but it was pretty fatty. Still filling. Our barmaid spent a lot of time gabbing with a couple people down the way then disappeared for a while and our drinks stayed empty most of the time. The bar staff was great and the food was fantastic. They have something on the menu for you to eat. All the food was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. You get to choose two sides and hubby and I both chose Cole slaw (not sweet, but fresh) and the broccoli (very fresh but needed butter). We will return for prime rib but will be a maybe for the patio again since that seems to be where the smokers are. We two tables served the nachos appetizer and it was HUGE!!! Fun while it lasted? My partner and I recently moved to the area. We really liked this place. We've been looking around to find cool new places. I stopped in tonight while I was still in my work clothes (the company logo on my jacket) and one of the employees made sure to tell me that she "f*cking hates ___(my place of employment)____" Other patrons heard her and looked at me apologetically. It was embarrassing. If you don't like a certain company then don't utilize them. Absolutely no need to say that to me, especially as i am not at work. This was our go-to spit before COVID. Once everything opened up, we returned to their outdoor seating dining. Unfortunately, we did not see our favorite wait staff, or cooks, as to be sometimes expected in the industry. But unfortunately, the people who have been brought in have been less than satisfactory. The one server became involved with another table for 40 minutes, drinking, no mask, and had forgotten to put in our food (we walked out). The second time, our wings came out dry and burnt. The last time we went in at 7. We were not approached for even a drink order until 7:40, when we were told they were closing at 8. We walked out again. The staff at LT were always fabulous, the food delicious, and the atmosphere has been fun and light. I hope that after this nightmare of 2020/COVID that we can get back to the standard that we know they can provide with pride. read more

My whole experience was awful. It 1st started off with sitting in a cloud of cigarette smoke because people were smoking at the tables that surrounded us. We didn't have the option to move elsewhere or dine inside because of COVID. I ordered Buffalo wings and they literally just served me wings with no sauce. I was able to ask for my sauce after I waited 20 min for the waitress to check on us and then another 15 min for her to bring me the wrong sauce and come back with the correct one. Yikes. Went there yesterday for the final Friday of Lent & was very let down. I'll preface all this by saying I blame the lack of management & training but the service was non-existent. After being sat we waited far too long, she only took our drink order, beers took forever but the waitress also had no idea when our drinks were ready since you can't see the bar from the server station. Ten minutes later we got our beers, but not the waters we ordered & she didn't offer to take our food order so we had to waive her down the next time she came by our table ...but the other server came over to take our food order which was pretty odd & we had to ask for our waters again. Food did come out quickly, seems a new server came in & things were better from there as the food was good. I feel bad for the servers as it seems they were set up to fail but even when we pointed out the water was missed they didn't apologize or even when they brought the waters over, either so I suppose part of it all is on them, too. I've been here a handful of times now & have not been impressed with the service any of the times so I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

well don't ever try to call in for an order! i called in to place a carry out order and was told that the items I wanted were on the old menu and where to find the current menu, I thanked the man for the instructions on where to find the new menu and told him I would call right back. This bar has come a long way to improve their menu. The chili is awesome and so are the ribs. Unfortunately, the service is hit or miss. Most of the time it is great but for some reason you can get ignored...at the bar! We enjoyed visiting regularly (at least once a week) but because of crappy service the last couple of times, I'm afraid we will be spending our money somewhere else for now. A group of us came here after our softball game at Victory Park. They have a huge bar with heaps of seating and restaurant area which is good for groups. I waited about 10 minutes for a drink at the bar - the lady bartender seemed overwhelmed and didn't have a good rotation going. She didn't move much from where she was standing and we kept getting passed up for drinks while others were not waiting as long. Sometimes it's hard to remember to keep walking in a clock or counterclockwise rotation to not miss new people. Side note: a tall drink here comes in a 16oz glass. Fantastic! But 16 ounces is huge and I have no idea how many shots are in that (not complaining). Our group sat at a table in the dinning room. Food came out fast and our server was friendly. He suggested I get the buffalo chicken wrap and substitute grilled chicken and get the hot sauce on the side. It was perfect! The ranch dressing was amazing. It was thick and tasted homemade. The fries where perfectly cooked and perfectly golden brown (clean fryer). They have a lot of menu options - everyone at my table was happy with their food.
