Friendly staff who provide clean rides and hand sanitizer after and life saving jackets. It was very fun you can play your own music from your phone and byob as the bikes have a little compartment for storage and two cup holders. At night the bikes glowand it's a must! Extremely fun to do and the owner is extremely friendly and understanding. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a fun experience. Went for the night rides and it was an awesome experience! The employees were so helpful and very accommodating. They have a speaker you can rent for a very fair price and that just makes the whole ride so much better. The lights at night look really cool reflecting from the water. It is a bit of a work out so I do suggest taking water and being ready to work them legs. If I can suggest one thing it would be to add a small motor so when people get tired of peddling they can use it to go back or at least help them for a bit. But apart from that it's a really cool thing to do if you're around the area! read more

Some of the bikes have problems with the chain so it doesn't move as efficiently. Also many of the staff are young and hence don't have the best customer service. Some are just messing around on the job. Overall, not a bad experience but somewhat overpriced. read more

They only waterbike place that I will come to after the great experience we had this past weekend! I was lucky enough to get a Groupon from a friend who couldn't make it and it was about to expire. Upon arrival we noticed that they had double waterbikes which made my girlfriend feel very comfortable since she can't swim very well and she was nervous about being on one by herself. Cooper (the gentleman working the shift) let us know that for a double it's just $10 more since the Groupon is technically for the amount of two singles. Cooper was nice and got my girlfriend a life vest and was explaining that the double are almost impossible to tip over (unless you're trying to do it which does result in a $40 charge for tipping the waterbikes over). That made her feel good and then he just explained the route and gave us a tip on the direction to go towards so we don't have to work against the current. The waterbikes themselves are really cool, if you're doing a double (which I would recommend) it has an ice chest attached to the middle with a piece of would so you can just bike out and relax in the water. Also there is a little compartment on the bike with cup holders and a spot to put your stuff so it doesn't get wet. So during our biking the chain on one of the bikes came off, luckily I was able to put it back on and when we returned I let Cooper know who was very apologetic and refunded me the $10. Overall it was a great experience, we went during the sunset so it was nice to just ride out and sit and watch the Sunset (great for date night). We will definitely be back hopefully with a bigger group! read more

Found out about this through AirBnB. SO glad we did! We took the whole family - there were 6 of us - right after Christmas while we were vacationing in SoCal. We weren't entirely sure we were in decent enough shape to make it but it was super easy. So much fun seeing amazing and gorgeous Christmas decorations through the canal. Our hosts were super helpful, explained everything and made sure we didn't get lost. Highly recommend you do this at night near the holidays- it's a very cool experience! read more

First time ever water biking. It was so much fun and beautiful scenery! The night I came, my sisters foot pedal broke while in the middle of the water; they have walkie talkies that they give you before you leave the dock. so we chirped to the gentleman working that night who literally came to where we were and pulled my sister all the way back! The reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars is because the whole night the gentleman was so understanding, communicative, and even gave us a refund. Ok this is really fun don't get me wrong!! Especially at sunset ! I went on a date and of course you want it to be perfect . I don't wanna sound like a Karenbut the guy joshua that works there was just not happy and looked like he did not want to be there. Didn't even say welcome or at least a hi or hello , just went straight to the point and was asking what time was my appointment , kinda threw the clipboard and said sign this this and that ,said to be back in 30 minutes when I was trying to say I booked for an hour but he kept trying to push me out to the water already like wtf dude.thank God their was someone different when I came back! IAN was his name, he was cool af and literally gave me the best customer service in only 3 minutes, greeted me when I came back , asked how it went and all that stuff. This review is a little later than expected but I went to LB water bikes a few months ago. I was going to do the glow n ride Sunset ride with my husband for our anniversary. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, the day that was sunny and beautiful suddenly turned into a windy dark cloudy evening. The guy there was really nice about it and offered to refund us since there wasn't going to be much of a sunset for us to see and the waters seemed to be too rough to ride through. He called the owner and she graciously refunded us w/o any hesitation. I appreciate their understanding and I can't wait to go back during better weather to try out the water bikes. read more

I would recommend getting there early, you have to show up 15 minutes before your appointment time but I would suggest that you arrive even earlier because the parking lot tends to fill up fast. Super fun activity either for dates or with friends! I made my reservation for 2 ppl the morning of, we ended up changing the time and had no issues doing so (we emailed first before they opened then they promptly gave us a call). The crew working there that Saturday early afternoon were all nice and friendly. I was expecting the hydrobike seat to be hard plastic based off some other reviews saying how uncomfortable it was, but it's just like the pleather seat of any other regular land bike. My bf and I personally had no issues, and found the bikes quite easy to pedal/steer. They're super stable and simple to get a hang of, and have compartments in front to store your personal items in (they don't lock or anything but we brought ziplock bags to put phones/keys in for worst case scenario so we weren't worried). Everything was smooth and one hour was a perfect amount for us to ride across the beautiful waterfront and even into the peaceful canals for a little bit! Perhaps relatively the two of us were going at a faster pace, but it was a very relaxing experience while also being a bit of fun exercise. We loved it! Highly recommend as an awesome way to experience LB! read more

This was so fun. We went out at 9:30pm. It was cool hanging out on our individual bikes in the harbor. Some people said it was a workout but it wasn't much. And I never workout my legs. You can bring a small speaker so you don't have to rent theirs. The experience will be different during the day too. Can't wait to go again. read more

As long as you can pedal and have sea sickness medication you'll be good to go. My partner and I were a little nervous at first but once we got the hang of it after a few minutes we were great. One hour is plenty of time to explore the harbor/area. We got back a little faster since we were racing each other lol We would love to come back in the future. Its really hard to flip over and even if you stop pedaling, the currents will gently move you around. The boats will slow down to let you pass by but make sure you're also making the effort to maneuver out of the way. read more
