When we went in to get a seat. The waitress says how many. We said 5. She seats us at a booth that fits 4 people. We told her. We're not going to be comfortable sitting here. She says unfortunately we can't move you. I said we're not going to fit in here when our last person gets here. Than she says. Did you tell us you had 5 people. Duh! Of course we did. That's the first thing they asked. They wrote our name down.. Than they seat 3 people in a six seat booth. I was happy with the waitresses. So she decided moved us to a bigger booth. Than they ignored us. When they finally came. Than we ordered a pitcher of beer. Got our check. They charged us 14.95 for a pitcher of shock top. I have never paid that much for a pitcher of beer. Outrageous!! I still can't believe it. Bad service. Very unorganized. Very over priced. We will never go back there again.. read more

The best part about Long Doggers, is their heart for supporting charity organizations in Brevard county that help our local communities. They go out of their way to help with fundraising by hosting events and they are not afraid of utilizing their entire property! Rob, Slice, Stout, Brian... the whole crew from Palm Bay to Cocoa Beach. I cannot rave enough about how awesome they are in supporting events that help our communities. This is truly a great little neighborhood spot. Before you write a negative review, why not try to fix the issue first. If you don't like something you ordered, they will not hesitate to bring you something else. If you have a bad visit, tell the manager and let them make it up to you. If you order something you do eat and it's just palatable, then next time order something different before you base you entire visit on a single meal that you didn't ask the server to replace while you were there. Just like everything else, you get out of it what you put into it. I have been eating at Long Doggers (all locations) for over 8 years and never once have I had a bad meal, bad service, or been forced to keep something I didn't like. This Longdoggers was not good at all. From the moment we got there we stood almost 5 minutes and never was recognized, finally we asked if we were to sit ourselves or what. Then another 7 minutes after we sat down before anyone came over to take our drink order. After 12 minutes, without getting our drinks, we said we were ready to order and asked about our drinks, which were ice tea and water. Finally got the drinks and food, from another server, and no one ever came over to check on us. Finally we flagged down someone and asked for our check, paid and left. Wings and beer! Need I say more? This isn't a gourmet restaurant so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with the reviews. They have decent burgers fries and other beach bar food. Service is usually pretty good, and that's coming from someone who is usually dining with kids who tend to annoy servers, but the ones here have always been professional. We always eat on the patio and they sometimes have live music on weekends. We got takeout from them a number of times and never had an issue. Kids particularly love the free ice pop that comes with the meal and going to get it out of the cooler. I've heard a lot about this restaurant and figured I'd give it a try. Wasn't impressed, in fact, I won't ever return. As soon as I walked in, I felt it was very hot. Sat down at the table to realize the door was open and clearly there was no air on. The both of us ordered two burgers and onion rings to share. The burgers both tastes like blood. Pretty gross, didn't really want it after two bites. The onion rings were "ok." What really was a turn off was the waitress. I am by no means a prejudice person. The waitress was somewhat overweight and was wearing a tight spaghetti tank that showed every roll and bump along with her overly tight/short shorts. This is the most god awful worst long doggers I've ever been to. The food is always cold. It takes forever to get your food. If you have never been to one please do not go here, there are other locations because the food isn't half bad, but coming here will make you never want to come back again. As a local, I do not want to come here nor drive far to go to a different long doggers and it's unfortunate because I like the food. My suggestion to this location, is get rid of the entire staff, hire new people, bring in employees from the other locations, have those people train the new employees. Really bad service today!! Never had the specials given to us but we heard them tell the other customers. Ordered two meals with hamburgers and both came out with the wrong condiments. One was without onions, taken back and when they brought it out, we could tell they just scraped the cheese and onions off and put a new piece of cheese back on. I added an order of large Waffle fries and the waitress suggests to just add fries to one of the hamburger meals. Ummm no that's $1.79 extra when a large order is only a few cents more and the order was stone cold anyways. Waitress took one water cup away to refill and never brought it back. When we pointed it out to the next waitress she states "yeah, she is refilling them now" nope those were ours and not the missing one. Really?? Oh and the hamburger meals were supposed to have fruit with it and we had to ask for those. Won't come back for now. I would drive to the other locations. Stay away from this one!!! read more

I live within a couple miles of this location and was happy when it opened as I had been a regular customer at the Post Rd. location for over 10 years. I have been to this location at least a dozen times. The food here is as good as at their other locations. Unfortunately, the service is not. It appears that most of the waitresses have no clue what to do other than address everyone as 'guys'. My waitress (rachelle) was cleaning tables and talking to other patrons while my cooked food was sitting on the counter. Finally the manager brought my meal over after seeing it sit there for 5 minutes. The waitress was unfazed that someone had to do her job. Sadly,this experience was all too typical. I cannot recommend this place, although I continue to eat at the other locations. read more

Didn't blow my mind but to be fair the taste was on par with a Ruben, which I loooove. It's a good place to grab some beers, maybe watch a game but don't expect gourmet hotdogs or anything. Great ambiance and friendly staff. Wife had the Mahi tacos and though she claimed there was too much lettuce in them, the one she shared with me was tasty. So no complaints there. Good beer and good prices for them. The footlong hot dog I would never order again, though. It was overcooked, like it had been on a roller too long. And it was cold - the American cheese it was served with didn't melt a bit. Onion rings were hand battered, and maybe overly battered, but at least they are made fresh. We have been here 2 nights in a row and this place is spot on. The service is excellent; the food is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Whenever we visit Viera ( we live in South Carolina visiting my mom here) we ALWAYS stop in Long Doggers Viera.Tonight we had Michelle at the inside bar and she was personable and very professional. Awful service, food never came. I'm new to Viera, Florida, and stopped in to try this place out. I won't be back based on the experience. It was loud and unorganized chaos. Slow, slow, slow, no service. Took 15 minutes for drinks to be served and another 45 minutes before the waitress realized I had not received my food. She was surprised. I'm not sure why the surprise since she never delivered any food! Waitress offered to remake it but at this point I said forget it and started to leave. A manager caught up to apologize saying "this doesn't normally happen." Maybe not, but it did happen on my one and only visit and other reviewers commented service was slow. Not bad. Used to the portions in Satellite Beach. Coleslaw which is the best in the area was really skimpy on both our orders. The hamburger was requested to be cooked well was almost rare.
