So the service was soso. I will admit we were got there a little after they opened. There was one employee in the building. I think he took our order and I think he may even cooked it. Everything was fresh hot water came out. The food was just OK. I did not care for the egg rolls. The potstickers were fantastic. They were more like the gyoza that have a thin dough. My big complaint was no one ever really came and cleaned dishes off our table. So by the time we were eating we had the advertiser dishes and our dinner, dishes. more staff had come in so by the time we left, there was like 4-5 people in the building and nobody bothered to clean the dishes on our table. We did want a dessert but no one asked us. They did bring the bill. We told them we wanted dessert. They take the back the bill. We also had to tell them to take the dishes or we would not have been able to eat dessert. There was two of us and they brought us one spoon so we did tell them we needed another spoon. If the captions to my photos aren't enough let me start this review with FOOD POISONING and FDA form 3500B If that hasn't scared you off from ordering the utter garbage that is this restaurants food then let me describe what we received. We received our order haphazardly packed into a large box, almost like the box came from a freaking Aldi. None of the food was in bags or otherwise thermally controlled. The only upside I can give it was that the food was hot when we received it, that's literally all I can give for it positive! The orange chicken is flavorless and the orange flavor almost absent. Terrible quality chicken and a weak flavor leaves the dish poor at best. The hot and sour soup tastes weird, an unusual aftertaste. Almost like... spoiled meat? The General Tso chicken. All of it. Me and two other people got sick to our stomachs got massive bloating gas and diarrhea. Are you done thinking about ordering from this restaurant that I pray goes chapter 7 bankrupt??? I pray you don't order from them unless you want to take a gamble with food poisoning and have to deal with the hassle of doing a large sum credit card chargeback. Do NOT eat here!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered take out from them and found a worm in my mei fun noodles. Which means their kitchen is either dirty or they don't wash their vegetables. On top of that the food was not good at all, no flavor. Also, the customer service was terrible. I went in there to tell them I found a bug in my food and to show them the picture, to get a refund for my order since we threw all the food away. Obviously if there are bugs in one dish chances are they are going to be in another. The manager wasn't there and the lady I talked to didn't even apologize all she could said was "oh I wasn't there that day so I don't know what happened" like whaaaaat??? What do you mean you don't know what happened. For that to be all she said is crazy. She took down my number and said the manager would call me but I never got a call. So my husband called them late the next day and whoever was there said she could only give us a refund for the noodles since that was the only dish with a bug... refused to give us a full refund even though we had to throw away all our food since we didn't trust it. We have liked most of the dishes we've tried here. The Dinner for 4 has really good options with something for everyone, and the kids always like the egg drop soup. So here's the deal with Long Feng - it is really hit or miss with these folks. There are things this place does really quite well, and you taste and you say "that's some damn good American Chinese food!" And then, there are other times, when you taste it and wonder how the hell this food came from the same kitchen as the other food you just had that made you exclaim "that's some damn good American Chinese food" because it is the exact opposite. Never have I experienced a restaurant so bipolar as this one when it comes to what comes out of it, and I've eaten enough of their food to know that this is a consistent trend. So that said, let me share with you what I know. The Glows General's Chicken - Damn tasty, and if you ask for it extra hot they deliver that heat and it is so damn good. Eats well for days. Crab Rangoons - Delicious and generously filled with sweet crab meat and cream cheese, a must-have and a delight to eat every time. Sweet and Sour Chicken - Well fried, crispy outside, good for multiple days. Sweet and Sour Shrimp - Also well fried and tasty, only good fresh - don't attempt to save/refrigerate. Singapore Noodes - Very tasty, light, can be made with or without heat, very fresh food. Keeps 1, maybe 2 days tops, but in general seafood more than a day is a no-no anyway. Sesame Noodles - Beautiful toasty flavor, can easily eat and keep these for awhile. Moo Shu Pork - Very flavorful, fresh, ask for extra sauce, keeps well. Pork Eggrolls - I literally buy these not to eat for my meal, but to have as "breakfast burritos" for days afterwards. Great flavor, tons of 5-spice and pork filling, best cheap pork eggroll I have ever had not close. The Sucky Dishes Sweet and Sour Pork - Contrary to its avian and shellfish counterparts, this pork is tough, rubbery, and not enjoyable at all. Don't do it or the mixed sweet and sour dish - it is a misplay. Garlic (fill in the protein) - So bland and lacking flavor overall, not going to make you ill, just not really enjoyable. Dumplings - The dough is unbelieveably thick, chewy, with so little filling - it is as though a five year old made it out of Play-doh. I do not understand how the same people making this also make epic crab rangoons and pork eggrolls, but they do. Potstickers - These are literally the same dish as the dumplings I kid you not. Comical that that's the case. Soups - Thick, greasy, gelatinous, and devoid of flavor. It doesn't matter which you order - they are just dreadful. read more

I always enjoy the food here. Today for lunch I had the Empress Chicken, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll for $5.95. The Empress Chicken is very good. Lots of fresh vegetables and just the right amount of heat. Usually I get white rice, but today I opted for the chicken fried rice. Most restaurants throw in tiny little pieces of diced up chicken. These were long strips of white meat. Very impressive. The egg roll was standard. Overall, this is a solid lunch choice. For $5.95 I get more food than I can eat at one sitting. Long Feng offers generous portions of good food, at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for? read more

I think if they were steamed and then pan fried, the toothsome feel might have been better - but still would have lacked taste. Beef Lo Mein Downright bland, watery and yucky. I would avoid this. Coconut Shrimp More deep fried pieces (very typical) straight from the freezer. Coconut sauce was cloyingly sweet (probably gobs of sugar or whatever) & Maraschino cherry WITH THE STEM ON! Went here last night and ordered the General Tso's chicken with chicken fried rice. The general's was surprisingly delicious. It has a light fried tasted and is not completely deep fried to oblivion. Also, the chicken is white meat. The sauce was just perfect and I really couldn't think of one complaint. I also had the Crab Rangoon and Steamed potstickers. The Crab Rangoon was superb as was the dumplings. If I had a reason why not to give five stars.. It would be the decor/ambience of the restaurant itself. This is definitely not the place for a "nice" night out. TV was tuned to Futurama and was quite loud. There were also the owners little kids playing at two tables with their toys everywhere. I have lived in the area for over 8 years, and I have had a real hard time trying to find a good Chinese restaurant. Based off of the the reviews I read on here, I decided to give this place a try, and I am glad I did!! This was some of the best Chinese food I have had, and I am upset that it took me this long to find this place. The only down fall to the place is the very small parking lot. I went off of a review and tried a smoothie, it was the best I have had and highly suggested everyone try one. I had a banana/strawberry one and it was amazing. The fruit was so fresh and it was blended perfect. I then got a meal off of the dinner menu, and a bowl of egg drop soup. My meal came with a decent amount of Pork Lo Mein, an egg roll, and fried rice. There was enough to bring home for my lunch the next day. The whole meal with tip was $15, so the prices are very reasonable. This place is a must try in my opinion. read more

I tried Long Feng last weekend and ordered a takeout. It was our first time eating from here. The orders were accurate and ready as promised. Although the clerk was not overly friendly, he was polite. The shrimp fried rice was outstanding! I've never had such large and delicious shrimp. I ordered Kung Pau Shrimp and it was also filled with large shrimp. My biggest complaint was the order was filled with way too much diced carrots! It was definitely the main vegetable. I saw very little (if any) Chinese vegetables, mushrooms, or water chestnuts. The two prime ingredients were green peppers and excessive carrots. I can't complain about the price, quantity, or flavor. It was very good. The egg rolls were average, but nice. The "duck sauce" condiments were in tiny packets and did not taste orange-like, just sweet. I did not like it. Overall, I thought the food was very good and , as I mentioned, the shrimp was wonderful. I will definitely revisit and perhaps try other items.
