The shower door now appears to be out of alignment. The receptionist, who is very sweet and considerate, asked me to video the closing and opening of the door and I sent it to her on 07/29/2026. I have called countless times since, and spoken with the receptionist, and other associates who answer the phone without success. I have been promised countless times that they are going to send someone to take care of the issue. They never call me back or send anyone. The amount of phone calls, in addition to stopping by the office location personally amounts to enough time and effort spent on my part trying to get them to come and address my issue. They really have disappointed me. I had written a beautiful review after the initial install and now regret doing so. Knowing that it is a family owned and operated business, I would certainly expect better customer service. I called again just yesterday, spoke with a man and explained to him that I was supposed to be hearing back from Shamus as to when he could come. It was explained to me that Shamus is the owner's son, so he should clearly understand the importance of good customer service. Shamus got on the phone with me just yesterday, and abruptly said, "I never told you I was coming today. He went on to say, "I have to coordinate a truck, and I will get back to you with a date and time." I asked again, so you will be calling me back? He said, "yes." He really annoyed me when he said, I never told you I was coming today. The true fact is I was told during countless phone conversations with the office receptionist that she would be sending someone. I have been given this same answer countless times and nobody ever calls back and nobody ever comes. It is a rude and inconsiderate way to run a business. I am not sure that Howie, the owner is still actively involved in the business, but he clearly should know the lack-luster attitude towards customers who are in need of a repair. The only asset is the receptionist. She is very kind and considerate.

The crew did a great job, worked hard, and we even tipped each of the three installers $100 because we appreciated their work. Unfortunately, after the installation, the keypad did not work. I don't necessarily believe this was the installer's fault--it may have been a defective keypad. I ordered a replacement myself and simply asked the owner if someone could come back to swap it out. He replied but didn't give me a straight answer, he was actually nasty. I've sent multiple text messages over the past weeks. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing. When you spend a lot of money with a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and at least return a customer's message. It's frustrating that such a small service request has been completely ignored. Because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this company. A quality installation is important, but so is customer service after the job is complete.

However, upon installation in April my contractor discovered some minor concealed damage on two of the windows. We immediately took pictures and reported the damage prior to installing them. We were told to install them anyway and that someone from Anderson would be out to the site to correct the problem. Well after 4 months, at least 4 emails, and several phone calls I've got nothing but lip service and excuses from Long Island Window and the problem has still not been resolved.

Was too careless to cut the backsplash to the windowsill . The cutouts for the outlets were gouged and jagged, not finished. And the worst part: Even though he and I had agreed he would tell me when to visit his store to decide which parts of the slab should go where, he went ahead without notifying me and cut it. He then had his men surprise deliver it to me ( he said they were going to do something different, not delivering). When I wanted to send it back, so that we can look at the entire slab, to see whether I like how he cut it, he became extremely vindictive and told me he would tell his men to " leave the stone on my front step" and " not return." This meant he would keep my money and the other half of the slab. And quit and leave me stuck. He also never comes to your house to supervise or contribute to the work, he leaves everything to the workmen. He also doesn't communicate, not when the slab arrives at his store, so you are deprived from your preferences on which parts you like best. He also fails to tell you when there are long travel delays. There is no way around this incompetence and callous disrespect..
