I enjoyed the food, great seeing a Long John Silvers anywhere these days. Unlike, many it was a stand alone store unlike many which are attached to a KFC! The associates were very friendly, the store was super clean. It seems to be well managed! The food was served quickly and was great

My opinion is simple. Everything tastes the same. Salty, battered and fried. That's it.

It's a small spot tucked right in the middle of the block off 17th Street in Altoona. Don't let the location fool you--it's worth every bit of the drive. My wife, our three teens, and a longtime friend joined me for dinner. We started with the drunken mushrooms as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a big mushroom guy, these were absolutely phenomenal--packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chef's special tomatoes and mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette, which was fresh and delicious. Everyone ordered different entrees, including a crab cake, encrusted chicken with vegetables, and shrimp Alfredo. Every single dish was outstanding. My crab cake was one of the best I've ever had--loaded with crab and seasoned just right. Nothing was heavy or overly sauced; it all tasted fresh and high-quality. To top it off, they brought out a dessert tray with multiple made-fresh options. My wife also had a freshly made cappuccino that she really enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly the whole night. Amigh even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a great evening. If you're craving a really solid, high-quality Italian meal without any fuss, do yourself a favor and check out Finelli's Italian Villa. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

She was very nice and prompt in her service, and I appreciate that she wore a face mask and brought us a drink refill. Menu items included starters such as coconut shrimp and shrimp rangoon, entrees such as wagyu cheeseburger and linguini, various combination feasts, and desserts such as cheesecake and brownie. Here are my reviews for our foods: Bacon-wrapped scallops - 4.5 stars - These scallops were hot and juicy and wrapped in tasty bacon strips. Sesame-soy salmon - 4.5 stars - This salmon was tender and juicy and covered in a flavorful sesame-soy sauce. Sides included brussels sprouts, quinoa rice, and edamame, all of which were cooked well. I also appreciated that this meal was one of the healthier options in terms of calories and fat. Ultimate Feast - 4.5 stars - My husband ordered this feast that included snow crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp, a Caesar salad, and french fries. I did not taste most of his food, but my husband seemed to enjoy the food, and he devoured it all. I did taste his Caesar salad, and it had fresh lettuce and the right amount of cheese, croutons, and dressing.

That is crazy you can go to Popeyes and get a breast and at to the regular salad price and save around $8. They have designated positions so not everyone can take a take out order. My advice wait for the front take out order person don't go to the bar or anyone else. They actually handle your order better. But then again it seems that there are not many works that care about their job super lazy and clueless. All in all I won't go there again I feel I got ripped off bit the first time. The menu was great and service was quick, then we ordered the burrata as an appetizer. Mentioned the nut allergy in our group and the server had said that they can't guarantee anything in the kitchen is safe to eat although some menu items didn't have nuts on them. The menu also says this, and maybe it's unfair to give this spot a four but in my experience restaurants shouldn't be mixing items in their dishes and there are pretty good safe serve/allergy friendly practices out there to follow and I've never had any issues. This is the first time I got a response at an American grill that they can't serve anything. Maybe it's just new to me and they're being extra cautious which is not wrong, and this place came highly recommended so I'm sure it's earned more stars, but would love to hear opinions on allergies and places that don't have "safe" serving spaces for nut allergies. Even the creamery had a nut free station

The other bartender walked by at least 4 times and never asked my husband if he wanted a refill on his beer. My husband finally had to ask for another one. The only time the talkative bartender came to us was to ring up our bill. Definitely, won't recommend this place!!! Very bad service!!!

The establishment seemed clean and very well taken care of and the rest rooms were clean. With that said I had the soup and salad bar and ordered the large Rib Eye $32.00 medium well done and asked that they bring it to me for to go as I wanted it to take home with me to eat later. When I got home the steak was so tough and full of gristle and fat you couldn't chew it. I threw it out and even the cats had trouble with it. I called the restaurant the same day and spoke with the manager about the tough steak he informed me that the company was having "supplier issues" and that he would for sure take care of me and send me a voucher gift card for a replacement steak the next time I was there or to use at any Hoss's location. Several weeks went and a couple additional phones calls to the store speaking to the managers on duty but nothing ever happened ( also the original manager would never get back on the phone with me when I called ) so I went online and sent the company a message regarding the issue to their corporate online complaint site to no avail either. Finally get a call from this lady and then a letter from Ms. Krista Soellner "Director of Customer Relations" which simply acknowledged the issue but did nothing to reimburse me for my bad steak. I think Hoss's Steakhouse owes me a steak or at least something for the $32.00 piece of shoe leather I was served on Nov 9th 2023.

I wasn't in the mood for going to a sit down restaurant, so fast food it was. Yes, before I get further into this review, this is the infamous McDonald's that so many people wrote (and it appears to be that they are still doing so) bad reviews. So if you see a review with reference to pest control or cleanliness of the restaurant, bypass them. Most of those reviews are from people that are from out of state, probably never been to Pennsylvania, and most certainly have never been to Altoona. Not a dis, just a fact. When we got here, I have to say that the parking lot was really confusing. Even though this sits on the main drag through the area, it abuts a residential neighborhood. I was trying to circle around the lot to head back to the front (it is one-way) I didn't think you could because only looked like the drive thru was the only lane. Not to worry, there is a road, more of the size of an alley, that you can make your way back up around. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to dine inside. Ordering wise, I chose the kiosk, tapped away at the screen, got a table number and then headed to find a seat. Dining room was decently clean even though it was busy with people. Another note on the dining area, there is a lot of space taken up for things that shouldn't be there. There is one small alcove that has two tables, but not for customers, they have a bunch of stuff there for people to apply to work there, and possible they do job interviews there. Then there is the area towards the bathrooms, large enough to accommodate several people and great enough if you want to be antisocial. However, this area was kind of off limits. You know, the area where said incident took place. The staff seem to have taken up roots here. At the end of my meal I did head back here to use the restroom and almost every table had something on it. Laptops, paperwork, general nonsense items. That way no one could sit in this area. I understand, but if it is a busy and full dining room, customers should come first. As far as the food, the order was almost correct. The prepared items were definitely right, but when our food was brought to the table there were no drinks. When we brought that up the employee asked if we ordered from the kiosk. Obviously we did, why else were you delivering the food to the table, with the table number on it? Also, that shouldn't matter if we ordered at the kiosk or not, either fill the cups in the back and at the least give us our cups. When I did go fill our cups after finally getting them, that was a hassle. We both wanted sweet tea, but the two containers were both nearly empty. It was like I was standing there waiting for the tea to be freshly brewed. For the remainder of the meal, nothing special, it's McDonald's. I still am not the biggest fan, but will make do. I am also fairly sure this location does not warrant the low, fake reviews it currently has.
