    Lobster Bites

I was very disappointed with my Lobster Bite Platter. My Lobster Bites were very crunchy but no Lobster taste. Also, they were over done. Very dark in appearance, grease soaked. My fish was crunchy but, very gummy between the batter and the fish.

A look inside the deep fried Twinkie. So unhealthy. So good. #UpCloseSavor XP

You know what LJS offers. No matter how much fish you want to add to your life, fried is not recommended. She was craving it, so we went. It was AYCE fish or chicken day. The food was as expected, but the service was not. They were wonderful. We ordered and took our seat. They did not yell out an order number to pick up. They brought it to our table, and asked if they could get us anything else. Later they stopped by to ask how it was, and if we wanted more fish. I could do without the other patron wandering in and asking us for a handout for a meal. I watched negotiations with the cashier on adding in free items. I even saw one of those with their hand out, pull a roll of bills from his pocket and tip the guy behind the counter.

I know it's just basic long John silvers, but this location I was treated with extreme kindness and courtesy. Delivered food to my table and catered to anything I needed. The manager was exceptionally polite and treated my little girl to an ice cream! We will come back again for service, alone! Good job guys.

I just came from Long Johns A&W on Cleveland Ave in Northern Lights. Good service but my fish was not cooked all the way through.

And poor Captain D's. When I went to Popeye's, on a weekday at 4pm, the Cap'n was empty. I wasn't sure it was even open, but there were lights on inside. I bet this place has made a dent in their business. Popeye's was moderately busy, a steady stream at the drive-through. Though part of that is standard Popeye's slowness. Every location seems to take a bit. Once we ordered, though, the food was ready after only a short wait at the window. Smallish lot, shiny new building. Friendly staff. I got the 12 for $12 wing special, because why not? With sweet hot sauce, which coated all but was not heavy and didn't soften the crispiness of the wings. Mid-size wings, cooked well, not super moist inside but decent, very crispy outside. I liked 'em. Also got a batch of "dippers," little tenders. Almost worth the $5, also crispy and well cooked (and a bit dry inside,) with a couple of dipping sauces. All that was too much for me, really made two meals. Kid K saw the strawberry cream cheese "pies" and scarfed one down, said it was good. We were headed home so didn't get drinks or sides, but they have a good selection. I'd come back. Construction is bad right now on Cleveland, and there's the "Popeye's wait." But it was worth it.

How is this POPEYES still in business. I came home, looked at the reviews..they are awful! I am never returning to this place!!!!

We're gonna cost extra money and I said well, I don't really need it that bad I get that. So I said I just want it with mushrooms, onions, and mayo. And then on a whim, I said you don't charge for mayo on a sandwich and the guy gave me a smile and said Yep, we just started yesterday. I said OK if you're my receipt will reflect that just let me know. I'm gonna run it to Corporate real quick once I get my hands on it and that's fine. And then he said do you want the Mayo? I said no I just want you guys to enforce standard practices and not charged different prices or different customers as they walk in. He checked me out and did not give me a receipt. After the other manager came to give me a receipt finally I noticed I was charged $.50 for extra Mayo. So I've been a long time Mr. hero fan and never had to pay for Mayo before and it may not seem like a huge deal but times are hard all over and you would just think that something like this people should know before they go in order because if it's not specifically listed on the pricing it could represent misrepresentation of pricing

I ordered the CHICKEN SANDWICH which I did enjoy. I found the chicken to be covered in a crunchier coasting that some other chains, but it's flavour was a little bland to me. This was my first time ever having Raising Cane's. The fries were a good portion, but definitely too soggy. The Texas toast is fairly good, I could taste the butter on it; personally, when I'm already eating fried chicken and french fries, I probably don't need another brown carb with it, but I know it's just their "thing." The chicken fingers were decent size and I'm sure they would've been crispier if it wasn't for the styrofoam container. The breading was nice because it was a little heavier than Popeye's in my opinion, but not by much. I liked the Cane Sauce personally, although it was a tad salty. I'm glad I can say I tried it, but I'm not craving it strongly. Drive-thru service was fast, which was a plus.
