Place a door dash order Driver waited for 30 min for order. After waiting all this time the store told my driver they are not going fill orders for door dash today even after they accortedthe order and told her to go away. This is the best example of mediocre I have experienced in quite awhile I don't mind waiting for fresh delicious quick serve food, but having to wait over 10 minutes for lukewarm tired looking fish and fries, is a very unimpressive, disappointing experience I would have gone back but I was starving and based on what I saw, I doubt there was an adult in the business. 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. It would take too long to describe my experience today. 1. No utensils to eat coleslaw 2. Not one napkin. Not 1. 3. No tarter sauce (requested) 4. Forgot my drink Did I mention I was the ONLY car in line? Took several minutes to come to the speaker. Who I assume to be the manager was wearing blue jean overalls. Make sure all you want is (fried) fish when partaking in this restaurant. I asked for the healthier options first but they seemed to be out of one ingredient or just nothing at all. Then with a heavy heart, I made an attempt to order a burger only to find out that the bun supply was depleted for the day being it only 5:30 in the afternoon. Alas I fell to my knees in pity of my soon to be clogged heart. As I sadly settled for the grease sponge that they are known to famously serve their loyal patrons(my mom). Knowing prior from times before that this was bound to happen, I only came here as requested by my mother who relentlessly insists that this is just the best place to sit inside and eat. The only thing deserving of the star that I rated this place with was the employee who did everything she could in her power to cushion the blows of letting me down on behalf of her employer. It's sad when you place a order and they forget to give you what the combo has on it. Store 31786 on 4-3-23 forgot to put the hush puppies with my meal. I ordered a fish & shrimp platter thur the drive thur. I got the fish and shrimp, fries and slaw but no hush puppies . According to the sign you get fish,shimp,slaw,fries and hush puppies . I also order a large sweet tea which tasted like it was 3 days old. For 16.83 I should of got what I paid for. Since they were out of tarter & shrimp sauce. Really? Lol . Ok . I admit, I'm writing this to at least update and balance the other reviews that were made a few years ago. First off, this is a combination Long John Silver's and A&W, the design of the restaurant definitely leaning more toward the A&W end of that relationship. The interior is spacious and inviting, with a 50's diner feel including bar stools that face the front window so patrons can traffic watch. Large murals depict 50's-60's era drive-thrus, and at least on my visit, the entire area was relatively spotless. I've always enjoyed A&W's food, I have fond memories of visiting an A&W restaurant while living in Hawaii, getting treated to a root beer float and a burger with my dad, and it's nice to be able to do the same with my boys. This particular location does a good job of aiding in that recollection. With frosty mugs available for your soft drink if you're eating in, the food we ordered was very good for standard fast food. The service was friendly and quick to respond, and likely a little older than what you find at a McDonald's. All in all, a very pleasant experience and a place I will likely come back to if I'm ever looking for a quick bite in the area. read more

This business does everything to not wait on dinner time and evening customers!!!! If you drive up to order they'll say they're out of whatever you're ordering; whether it be fish, or shrimp, or chicken, or the sides, etc. Or you'll pull up to the drive thru during open hours and they won't say anything at all and you pull up to the window just to see the workers sitting on the front counters doing nothing!!! This has happened over the past 3-4 times we have been to this location; so we won't be back to this location ever again; and I seen many cars that were turned away by them on these trips or that had to leave due to no response by there staff on the other trips, so that's a lot of missed business opportunities!!! And I'm sure most of those customers won't be back either!! Want to know why your business is losing money and failing??? Better monitor your staff better because they are the reason it is happening!!! Don't waste your time going to this restaurant; believe me you'll be thankful you went elsewhere!! When visiting a fast food establishment, my only expectation is edible food served reasonably quickly. What I don't typically have to worry about is customer service. The food on this visit to LJS was above par with everything being served hot and fresh. Sadly, the front line individual was displaying their lack of desire to provide acceptable customer service. To LJS's credit, another individual from Drive Thru came to take over after observing items being tossed at customers and slammed on counters. Had the food not been good and intervention from other associates not have happened, I'd probably give a lower rating. Hopefully, the customer service incident is isolated. Checked receipt later and noticed was charged more than menu showed (2-piece fish meal @ $8.99 was charged $9.99, 2-piece fish and shrimp @$11.29 was charged $12.99) Fast food has gotten way too high as it is but with being overcharged for poor quality food I won't be back. read more

If I could give zero star I totally would! The food was mediocre, the staff was less than mediocre and the restaurant was absolutely disgusting!! It cost me as much to have dinner here as a real sit down restaurant and the quality was horrendous! The booths were all dirty as was the floor! The bathroom was disgusting and had flies in it! Went in the store, oredered my food everything seemed fine counter person was helpfil and polite. While waiting for my food the young man behind the counter was on his phone, then he put his hands up to his mouth and chewed his finger. After doing that he ooened my wrapped food to check it and was going to serve it to me. I advised that he would either remake my food and wash his hands before touching it or I was not taking it. After a few seconds thought my wife and I asked for our money back and left. This was the worst experience ever in and restuaraunt with an "A" rating, the #healthdepartment should check this place out and drop the rating or shut it down. read more

I hate to hear that Robert had a bad experience at this Long John Silvers. We eat here quite often and the food and customer service is usually quite good. Went to this location at around 10 pm. Went through the drive thru because the inside was closed for the night. Ordered the food and was pulled forward. Sat there a couple of minutes the guy went back inside. I checked my order and it was wrong. Had to pull back through the drive through and get it corrected. Got home and was still missing part of the order and it was cold and tasted as if it had been sitting for a while under a heat lamp because it was hard and crunchy. This place advertises as an a&w root beer and long john silvers. How can you advertise something and NOT have it? This is the first a&w that I've seen that does NOT have draft root beer however they want to charge 5 bucks for a "draft" drink from the soda fountain..
