I love this place. It's clean and new. I usually come here for pedicures, but sometimes I also get a fill when I'm not able to make it to my main nail girl. It's a smaller place with 5 pedicure chairs and 5 nail stations, but I've only seen them use 2. I'd make an appointment because they get busy fast. It's $25 for a standard pedicure, but it's REALLY nice. They sanitize their tools which is 5 stars already. With the standard pedicure they offer massage chair, massage, cleaning of the nails, callous scrub, sea salt scrub! hot lotion!! HOT STONES!!polish, etc. all for $25! AND you can get a frequent buyer card! 10 stamps and you get a free pedi! Sweet! I'm from the Hayward area where I'm used to paying $20 for a pedi, and when I moved out here everything was $22 or up for a boring job. But at Long Nails, they take care of you and I think the $25 is totally worth it. Add $5 for French tip. Sometimes they rush. I usually am a walk in during the day and I go when I think it's not busy. If it's busy I have no problem waiting, but they want to get you in and get you out and if they're going to charge $25 for a pedi, at least give us the full effect. Another downfall is they don't give you a stamp on your card if you get some sort of discount. There's a sign that says "10% off when you pay with cash," so I paid with cash, pulled out my stamp card and she told me no because I already got a discount. Seems very very petty, but whatever I guess... She only gave me ONE coat of nail polish on my pedi. I should have asked for another one but by the time I realized she wasn't going to give me another coat, she was already putting on the top coat, so I just didn't say anything. Because of these three disappointments, I'm subtracting 1 star which I think is more than fair. Anyway. Make an appointment. Even if it's 10 minutes before you walk in, make it, because they will value your time over those who just walked in which I agree they should. read more

Last minute decision to get a mani gel and pedi on a Sunday afternoon. My normal place was not open but I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. Its in a not so nice area in Concord but that didn't both me. The salon was clean and smelled nice. When I called they said they could see me right away but when I got there I had to wait 30 mins. I didn't realize I was waiting that long because they sat me in a massage chair (that actually worked) and soaked my feet. She also gave me a mini bottle of water. Very nice customer service. Unfortunately they did not do my nails while I was getting my pedicure and I did not have enough time to stay for the shellac. My pedicure looks great! $24 read more

Very nice salon they all really do a great job and take care of you. When I moved to the area this is the first place I tried and there is no reason for me to go anywhere else. I was hesitant to write a review the 1st time I stopped in because you just never know how the next few visits will go. But I'm pleased to say they all went just as well as the first! The ladies here are so friendly, but also make sure to take their time. Sometimes I feel like salons rush through manicures just to get you in and out. They don't do that here! I've got 2 shellac manicures, and just yesterday went in for my first set of acrylics! All turned out so amazing. The prices are also wonderful too! I never feel over overcharged. I loved going here when I moved to Concord. The place is clean and staff are friendly. Then I started seeing an inconsistency with the pricing and that bothered me. At one point she charged me an extra $5 because I paid with debit card, believe me after that I only took cash. I recently got my nails done there and I had a new nail tech (Mimi usually does them for me) and she cut my cuticles two fingers bled, it stung so bad when she began to paint my nails and now I'm on day two of experiencing a really bad reaction to the acrylic. My cuticles are swollen and itchy and starting to blister. Even though it's convenient just a 5 minute drive I rather go back to my original nail place in Pittsburg and drive the extra 20 minutes. read more

Mimi blessed with an awesome pedicure today and I was so very happy. My focus was on the actual pedicure and not the polishing- I use a clear coat anyway. However, today I felt like had been to a great Spa, the only thing missing was the cucumber water and robe. A very clean and comfortable shop with lots of the street FREE parking. My feet were soaked, scrubbed, and massaged. A sugar and oil based solution was applied that provided extra exfoliation on my legs, the upper and lower portion of my feet. The finishing touch was the hot stone leg massage. On to my clear coat and a good chair message before and after my pedicure. I highly recommend this Spa and their pedicure. The last three times I've been here and had an appointment I've waited at least 20 minutes. Today I waited 45. I understand that they want to take as many appointments as possible so they can make money but what's the point of me making an appointment if I have to wait so long? Went here with a friend last week with no intention on actually getting my nails done and just accompanying her, but while waiting and saw their prices I was inclined to get mine done. We arrived here about 10 AM and we were the only ones in the salon. My friend got a manicure and pedicure and I decided on getting a gel manicure and got my mom a regular manicure. I have to say all were done exceptionally well and they had quite the selection of colors. A week later and all of our nails still look great! The service is great as well, the staff were all very friendly and Mimi was especially helpful. I cannot believe I was lucky enough to stumble onto this gem! Everything is bright! Clean! Pretty! I got a shellac french manicure that is still going strong two weeks later and my friend got an awesome pedicure, complete with hot stones. Although we got there right when they opened, they were HOPPING. Several people were asked to come back later. Getting more staff will only help them. I called about 4 and was able to get an apt for 5. They had lots of colors to choose from and they are pretty good at designs. Mimi was my artist and she does just about everything there from what I could see. Pretty happy with my Christmas nails (please excuse the dry skin around my nails as it is from the cold weather) however, I did only give 4 stars because I felt that she could have paid more attention to the shape of the nails and I found some lumps in the nails as well because I am really picky. I will go back at least one more time and express the importance of the shape and hopefully that will fix the future problems. Mimi was really nice and had a gentle way with my sensitive hands.
