First off the massage chair was not working properly. Then the nail person put my shoes on immediately once she finished my pedicure. There was no one waiting, and I wasn't in a huge rush. She nicked my big toe on my shoe as she put it on, and then got really mad. She was yelling at me about how everyone wears the same shoes and they are bad for pedicure's. I said I had flip flops in the car, I would get them and it was no problem. She was still yelling. Of course I had already paid and tipped. Later, when I got home, I looked at other Yelp reviews. Apparently this is a common practice here to yell at patrons... who would put up with this??? Plus, the lady right before me had the same shoes, and she was offered takeaway flip flops I had to come home and redo my own polish. She spent no time doing the massage or hot stones. I've been going here for several years now and really love them! Lately I've been getting the colored powder acrylic nails with occasional gel accent nails as well as gel pedicures. My 10 year old gets the standard pedicure or manicure as a treat as well. Mimi is always careful doing my nails, she doesn't nick my cuticles with the electric sanding dremel type tools. She is wonderful with the design ideas I bring her, just look at my amazing Halloween nails! And the pedicures are well done, whether it's Mimi or her staff. She always remembers me and my kids. Time flies. While I was getting my gel manicure and pedicure today, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Mimi and her staff. There's no other place that I'd rather go to for a full service place. Long Nail Spa is so clean and welcoming, along with being staffed with seasoned professionals who are kind and patient while delivering A+ results. During the pandemic, and also following an injury, I neglected getting my nails done until I was reminded that it's such an important part of my self-care routine; thus, I've made the promise to myself to get back to going to Mimi regularly. I have been going to the salon for years under the care of the same lady and until recently she's been great to work with she. She is always upselling her services in March talked to me into gel nails. She told me that they would last at least two weeks. The first time they lasted a month while I was in Italy and brutal on my hands. However the gels only lasted a week the second time. I was much gentler on my hands and was home sick most of that time. I called her to see if she would repair them, she had me come in and then yelled at me saying that it's been 11 days and that because she done a great job the first time, she had done the same job the second time. That is not true obviously. I will not be using the salon again, very disappointing with the customer service. read more

This is the first time I had my nails dipped and I absolutely love how they look! Very affordable pedicure place! Highly recommend Pros: $26 for a regular pedicure ( 10% that is $23 if you pay cash ) with sea salt scrub, heated lotion, hot rocks, and hot towels. There are also a variety of polishes that you can choose. The place is really clean and neatly. Cons: you get what you pay for. There's no wifi or TV, and my phone always lost signals when I'm here. My friend referred me to Mimi after moving back to the area and needing to find a new spot. She said her sister referred her when she moved back to the area and her sister has been going to Mimi for four years! Mimi is phenomenal! She takes her time, which I appreciate because I'm pretty picky, and when you bring an idea for a design, she will match it to a T! What I specifically appreciate is that my nails will last a lot longer than when I've gone to other places. I'm used to getting my nails done and already needing a full a week later. This place has really gone too the dumps. The owner is super unprofessional and is constantly on her cell phone making personal calls while doing nails. Yesterday I went in to get a manicure and pedicure. The owner attitude completely changed when I told her I didn't want a gel manicure. She did my pedicure. She chartered me $45 for a "deluxe" pedicure and didn't even bother to include the massage and burned me with the hot towels! The nail tech that did my manicure was terrible. I've been going to Long Nail spa sporadically over the past couple of years and I've always loved them! Mimi, the owner, is always able to squeeze me in (and when it comes to getting my nails done, I usually go with 30 minutes notice) so her flexibility is truly appreciated. The staff are all super sweet and always remember me even if it's been months since my last visit (there are a handful of nail shops closer to where I live now which is the only reason why I may not come to Long Nail Spa). Another thing I love about this place is their massages! They even give a little neck and shoulder massage ;) - much appreciated after a long day of taking care of my 4 month old!
