Very nice selection of cocktails. It's a cozy little place and there is a patio near the busy street. Great service.

My friends and I LOVE Long Play! Happy Hour from 4-7 with great prices and music. We call it "the cat bar" because there are always neighborhood cats running around, which is so cute and they're clearly well taken care of by Long Play which I appreciate. Vibes are always perfect - they even decorate for holidays. Limited indoor seating but they put heaters out when it gets cold. I've yet to try the food truck but bet it's great. Definitely one of my favorite spots!!

Been here a handful of times for past 8 years. Came last night and it's still just as good as my first experience. Small dive bar with phenomenal drinks, service, atmosphere, and prices. Drinks: Old fashion on tap: 7.5/10 - seems this batch was stronger than the past. It had me tipsy off of just one. For $8 can't complain Hot toddy: 10/10 - the flavor, the cute cup and presentation, the temperate - all perfection. Hot cider: 9/10 - nearly perfect, it just needed a hair less cinnamon and it would have been a 10 Bad hatter specialty drink: 9/10 - flavors were unique. Very boozy but not taste wise. If you're a whiskey lover, try this! Inside was exceptionally warm on a cold night. Almost too hot, had to step outside to get some air. Our bartender was very polite. Glad to see this spot is still as good as I remember it to be.

I've been here on a date, ended the evening here after a bar crawl, and been to happy hour (4:00 - 7:00p.m. with some girlfriends and each time was a great time; a very local and lowkey spot so come here if you're looking for a calm and cool spot to grab a drink! Inside is a dim, speakeasy vibe and there's a patio with lights outside.

This is truly a hidden gem bar. For chill and relaxing vibes, it's the spot to go. They play some great music that instantly boosts your mood too. It's all on vinyl! Service is pretty quick since this is a bar, but you can find Paprika in their parking lot serving fresh tacos. Not sure what else they had but everything was sizzling. It's a smaller bar but they do have a patio, and are dog-friendly. There's not much parking in their lot so you will probably have to circle around or find some at the apartment/food complex across the street.

Drinks are interesting, food could be a LOT better! I find the record/vinilo aspect of it endearing but not practical.

It's impressive and so badass they're a true vinyl bar and I think we can all agree music just sounds better on vinyl.

This warrants an update because my initial review was nothing more than a couple of sentences and written long after I'd visited multiple times. Brewtorium opened back in 2018 and I've been several times during our twice yearly trips to visit family (prior to relocating to ATX). Ok, so... Going from four stars to five and I'll explain in a minute. First, I want to say how incredible the service is. As are the pours and food. Never once have we had a bad experience. It's a really welcoming spot with stellar beers. I love that they offer a mix of food options from traditional German brewery food to traditional American brewery and pub food. Here is why we're going up a star: during our latest visit, I walked over to our table after ordering and spilled my beer everywhere. Before even getting a sip lol. A staffer immediately came over with towels, cleaning products, and a fresh replacement beer. All without making me feel foolish or embarrassed. Next, we attended an event in the private room and it was perfect. Service continued to be above and beyond. Finally, I'd like to thank the brewmaster and brewers for "The Lost Mambo" and to beg that it stay on regular rotation and not seasonal. Gang, this is the greatest beer!! My absolute favorite. It's an Italian pilsner (only 5.5 abv) w/lemon biscotti. Wow. Wow. Wow. One of my fave breweries. Hands down. Support local. Drink beer...or not (they've got mocktails and n/a beer options).

While busy, we got through the line incredibly fast, had a lovely interaction with a staff person, and got a seat at a large table with no issue. We ordered a variety of salads (literally so good) and fries as well as flights of beer. I was really impressed with the beer (I had one with electrolytes that was so good)! Definitely a good spot for a group. Great place!

The ambiance does look upscale, so are their prices. They have a great outdoor space and beautifully decorate indoor space. They're trying a lot of things - coffee shop with a bakery, dining restaurant, beer hall with craft beers. It does definitely get filled up in the mornings. My order: Bavarian latte Sour cream Kolaches Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese Bavarian latte though seasonal was nice and flavorful. Kolaches which was a savory and the everything bagel was something I loved with the cream cheese. Must-try! The order came around $20.

Back then, Austin needed a bakery so badly that easy tiger was a standout savior. Fresh bread (still great today!) and pastries were so welcome. At some point after Covid, quality started slipping. Pastries weren't changing. The croissants were soft with no crunch. The chicken schnitzel which is used to be thin had turn into a thick blob basically a giant chicken nugget. The pretzels I always loved tasted stale like they baked them and left them sitting under heat lamps for hours. Sandwiches tasted noticeably worse. Still, we continued to come here. And then they were sold in the last year. New owners and what's the first thing they do? Fix issues? No that would be hard. They raised prices. A LOT. Coffees cost more than anywhere else in the area. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids meal hits $90 with zero leftovers. Every time I come here I feel so squeezed and it's never worth it. So this is it. After 7 years I'm through. The place has so much potential but whatever is happening here I cannot support. There are far better bakeries (looking at you sugarwolf) and far better coffee places (literally dozens). Here is to hoping for a turnaround.

They have some of the best cocktails (and mocktails) in Austin. The Positano (mocktail) is crazy good. It's made with N/A limoncello and it's so pretty to look at as well. There is a small lot out front but it was full. I was able to find street parking on a neighborhood side street right near the bar. Upon walking up, I was immediately greeted by an employee on the patio. She held the door open for me which was super nice. When I walked in, I was given the option of sitting at the bar or a table. They do not take reservations unless your party has 8 or more people. Additionally, this bar is pretty small (38 indoor seats, 20 patio seats). We got there relatively early on a Saturday night. The bartender was really nice and explained some of the cocktails. I started with The Field of Dreams. It was a gin based cocktail with dry vermouth, bergamot, and chamomile bitters. The drink was good, but very strong! I also had a gimlet which is such a classic. It's one of my favorites to order at a craft cocktail bar. My friend had Dove's Cry which was a Mezcal cocktail. I didn't try any, but it looked really good! We didn't order any food, but they do have a small menu. The kitchen closes an hour before the bar closes (currently at 11 pm for the kitchen, 12 am for the bar). The vibe was extremely chill. The music was at a good volume to where we could converse without having to yell at each other. The menu changes seasonally. I'm looking forward to returning to try some of their latest creations.

The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's. It's big, but arranged in a way that still feels cozy and social. The crowd? Late 20s to early 40s. Grown and attractive. Lively but not chaotic. Vibrant without being loud. Perfect for dressing up a little, socializing and lingering a little. We Ubered there, so I didn't get a full picture of the parking, but it seems like there may be a little parking garage or validated parking area? Maybe a pay for parking? I would read other reviews. Most of the staff? Fantastic. Professional, warm, funny. Our assigned waitress, however, gave off overwhelmed and low-energy. She was short with communication and it sort of dulled our sparkle for a moment, but the drinks and vibes quickly brought it back. Had we had another waitress, this place would have been a 10 out of 10. On to the drinks: Round one: espresso martinis (made with Tito's). Slightly sweet, bold, smooth, and very sippable. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.
