I had the hardest time finding this place. From the time I ordered, my banh mi was done in one minute. I wanted to try it right away, but I was sad because I could tell the bread wasn't fresh. It was kinda hard and was actually tearing towards the middle, so some of the spread was leaking thru. The banh mi was less than average and lacked filling and meat. I appreciated how quickly it was made tho.

Love this place. Good food and service at good prices. Also love the meatball Banh MI here with paté. Never had anything bad here and their larger menu now is great.

This place is a gem to me. I'm able to eat in and out fast and it's very convenient, never really crowded or too busy to dine in. I always get the bo ne, it's perfect for breakfast or lunch. It comes out sizzling and you just eat at your own pace and to your liking. Usually I get extra egg and pate. It does come with a side of vegetables and salt/pepper lime for dipping your meats. Sandwiches here are pretty good, if you buy 4 you can get 1 free. The staff here is always friendly!

I'm ready to come back! The BBQ pork banh mi was delicious. I was surprised that the meat was warm, and that's a good thing! I just wish the baguette was toasted longer for a nice crisp. Plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon. Available indoor and outdoor covered patio dining. I would recommend knowing what you want to order based on the menu, pictures, and Yelp because there might be a language barrier.

Came in for the sandwiches but it was lacking in quality and flavor . The egg rolls were soggy and again no flavor . But I enjoyed my Thai tea , it wasn't the best I had but it made up for the rest of the items . Honestly I may try something else on the menu and give this place a second chance , because the pricing was decently.

Given that we ordered Bo Ne, I expected steak. We didn't want the rest of the meat and they served us 4 thinly sliced pieces of meat that was very low quality. Like reallllllyyyy thin. Definitely not steak. What a waste of money and no where near worth the price. I can't believe they even think that's acceptable for Bo Ne. No eggs even come with it at the price. Their sesame balls are Itty bitty and not even cooked. It looked burnt on the outside and honestly old but the dough was squishy and felt like raw dough when we touched it. I informed them that it's not cooked and they said it's a different kind like dim sum restaurants and I explained that sesame balls should NEVER be that texture whether it's Chinese or vietnamese. I've had plenty dim sum and never have sesame balls ever tasted or felt this way. They could have just apologized but we left still hungry. Do not recommend at all. Literally save your money. I hate doing these reviews but the gaslighting was crazy.

I came here a few weeks ago. Finally able to post. This gem is a hidden spot! I came here out to eat with my sister and her friend. We were greeted right away. We wanted to dine in. We chose to sit outside because it was a nice warm day out. We ordered the eggrolls, bun Bo hue, and a rice plate. Everything was sooo good! Food came out pretty fast too! Eggrolls werefresh and full of flavor. Bun Bo hue was delicious as well. The pork over rice plate was yummy. Typical rice plate. Before we left , we ordered the Banh mi's. Buy 4 get 1 free. And the Banh mi did not disappoint! Overall I will be going back! And food was delicious and service was great!

Bbq pork banh mi - very good and fresh!

Duc Huong had a line out the door and I needed a banh mi lol, so I googled searched for another joint that maybe people be sleeping on. This place is hidden for sure. Through a gated property, buildings look empty save for a boba place and a Vietnamese juice bar. Long sandwiches is tucked away around the corner where the fountain is through a covered patio. It was dead when I went in but didn't compromise the freshness of the bread or the ingredients. I got the bbq pork banh mi with everything on it. Was $6.95 and warm and fresh. It was delicious. Def will come back!

It's been a few years and the banh mis here still blows me away. I always get the meatball sandwich, and it is my favorite in the area still. I never get tired of eating it. Add in extra butter/mayo and you have yourself a winner. They have the buy 4 sandwiches and get 1 free offer still, so this makes the restaurant even better l when trying to feed a crowd. I got my old co-workers hooked on these sandwiches so back then, I would order anywhere from 15-25 banh mis every Tuesday for our office. Great deal. Workers are still friendly, although my old co-workers did have trouble ordering over the phone since they don't speak Vietnamese. I don't mind ordering for them though. I live further away now so cooking here is a rare treat. Nothing beats the meatball they here though.

They have the best bánh mì in town. The baguette bread's texture is different than other shops around. I always go for the bánh mì gà nướng plus pâté. The liver spread is mild, they give plenty of house made mayonnaise, they give the right amount of pickled veggies, the grilled white lean meat chicken have a char to it, and not a lot of cilantro. I got to have it with a young coconut juice.

Effing long sandwich closed on Wednesdays since 3/1/22. C'mon bruh. ‍

I left a review for this but again gone. What up Yelp? Love this sammie shop. Good prices. Good sandos. They had a 5 for $20 deal for banh mi pre pandemy. Clean, efficient shop. Hard as eff to find off street. Way in the back. Need to circle to back of Stockton Bully.

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!

I grabbed the chocolate banana bread, a garlic bun, a potato and crème fraîche, savory pastry, and an egg and ham pastry. Definitely been on a big banana bread kick lately and this one did not disappoint. Tons of chocolate chips! The garlic bun was by far my absolute favorite. It was crispy and at the same time so buttery like a croissant, and the garlic flavor was amazing. The cakes, pastries, and beverages were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. In fact, the cakes impressed me so much that I can honestly see myself ordering future birthday and celebration cakes from here. The ordering process was smooth, and the décor is gorgeous, making it a really inviting place to spend some time. I enjoyed the bakery so much that I came back a week later to try lunch. Unfortunately, that's where things took a turn. I ordered the burger, and someone in my party had the salmon burger. Both were incredibly bland. It honestly tasted like no salt or seasoning had been added at all. If you prefer very lightly seasoned food, this might be right up your alley, but it just wasn't for me. The iced tea also comes unsweetened, so keep that in mind if you're expecting sweet tea. One small thing that could also be improved is the ordering setup. There are separate lines for the bakery and the kitchen, but when it gets busy it can be a little confusing--especially since you order first and then find a seat. Overall, I'd absolutely return for the pastries, cakes, and drinks. The bakery side is outstanding. As for lunch, though, it left me wanting a lot more flavor.

A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was.
