This would be the ideal stop if you were on a scavenger hunt because any and all pop culture trash has been stuck on the wall, shelf or is hanging from the ceiling or parked outside. OMG, hoarder heaven. The food was okay yet i ate very skeptically half expecting a cockroach to climb onto the table. I actually liked the hamburger. There were wings too but i'm not a fan of those - soaked in enough sauce i'll eat though. There are skinny carrot sticks with thin and runny buttermilk dressing for dip on the side of each wing order. There were families at the next table with a whiny child and dad yelling at her for most of our meal - how annoying was that. This is my first time coming to Long Wong's. I expected a lot as it was rated #1 in Phoenix; I was very disappointed. The wings were small with the occasional medium sized wing. The flavors were mediocre; the hot flavor wasn't spicy and, surprisingly, tasted exactly like Frank's Red Hot Sauce. The honey hot flavor was Frank's Red Hot Sauce plus sugar. The service was below par. We asked them if we could choose an extra flavor for a premium and we were refused. We had to ask them for everything from plates to water to napkins. Long Wong's has never let me down . The pizza and wings are on point and the atmosphere is so strange and cute. Love it. I haven't been here in a year and had to try when I came back into town. It's the same as it's always been. The only thing that has changed is that they no longer sell flan. Makes me a little sad but it's alright! I wish they would wipe the outside down more. My husband and I are new to Phoenix and have decided to try as many local places as possible. Intrigued by the outside decor, we ventured into this odd place. We ordered 2 meals and sat at a greasy, dirty table. Our wings and burger arrived and we were thoroughly disappointed. The wings (some spicy ranch and some garlic Parmesan) were soggy from the grease and extra chewy. The burger appeared to have been put in the fryer with the wings. The bun was soggy and the patty doused in pepper. They did try to make their greasy food healthier by handing out sandwich bags with carrots and ranch. Good effort. The one star it gets is for decor and fries. The fries are great, just covered in salt (shake then it off and they will be fine.) This machine is from 1980, but hey if it doesn't work then get rid of the thing. There really is nothing to look at inside the restaurant, just a bland little rectangle with old photos of days gone bye bye. The "patio" is two picnic tables out front. The wings at this LW were fantastic. Not battered, but deep friend how they should be. They were crispy and well done with a sauce that tastes fantastic (I got the hot). From a wings standpoint, it totally gets a 4.5. I tried the ribs and they were pretty bad. Everything else looked good though. If you want hot wings, this is the place to go. Whenever the food is ready, you then drive over, pay and pick your food up and no body wastes any time! That's the idea...Especially when they give you a 10 minute "ready time". Well Wasting my time certainly makes me not want to return especially when besides giving them 20 minutes over the 10minute time told. They make wait yet EVEN MORE TIME? Considering that they've had double the time they thought they required? SMALL things such as Time considerations definitely shows that a business cares. All I can say is wow. I've heard of this place my whole life but for some reason never gave it a shot until now. I wanted wings and Long Wong's was the closest. And the cheapest! I had read reviews that their ranch is the best so got 24oz of it hahaha. And man was it worth it! Ordered the pack that came with 50 wings and it easily fed four hungry people. We ordered hot and lemon pepper. The wings have lots of meat, and were ready very fast and stayed fresh for the car ride home. The hot flavor was very very good. The lemon pepper lacked some so I would just recommend asking for extra season on that. Other than that no complaints and very veryyy cheap compared to all the main chain wing spots. After that we decided to decline the food because im not going to pay double the price when u just informed us i can get the SAME FOOD SAME long wongs at a different location for half the price. Long be hold she asked manager to assist in refund looked at us and said "well your food is ready" we responded "ok well im not gonna take it for that much" sooo can i get my money back? The kids are always mystified and remark about how it feels like being in an I-spy book.
