    Thick heavy crust
    Julian E.

I got to be honest, this is not going to be a good review. I ordered a half chicken (unseasoned), fries, red beans and rice, and two tenders with one being medium and the other hot. The tenders had a heavy crust but the seasonings did have some flavor to it and the heat level was nice and hot. The red beans and rice were not what I expected. The rice was mushy and the beans had no flavor even after adding salt. The bone in half chicken had a thick heavy hard crust and actually cut my upper palate. The meat was dry and had no penetration of any brine or seasoning. The skin off the thigh had no discernible flavor but might have been due to being overcooked, I couldn't even eat the leg. The fries came seasoned but really had little flavor and were bland. I had high hopes for this place but only threw most the food away and left sad for the business.

We stumbled onto this place after we decided Raising Canes want enough on the way. Am i glad we did?? Yes! The tenders with the Hot sauce were the perfect blend of hot and flavorful! Their texture was unlike anything that I've had before, in a good way. The service here was adequate, nothing much stood out. This had a cute old school ambiance on the inside. Two constructive critiques I'd offer. First, they advertised macaroni and cheese (on a dry erase board) that they had ... run out of. Second, they gotta get some ramps up to their doors to make their entrances less of a trip hazard.

Didn't know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised!! The food was 10/10 delicious & the service was amazing. They went beyond to come outside where I sat and ask how everything was, refill drinks and gave a dessert on the house!! I got the chicken sandwich medium spice & loved it! Will definitely be going back there

What a gut bomb! I drive by this place often and decided to try it. Appearance and staff: building is cute and well decorated. The girl at the front was very friendly and offered suggestions. Food: We had chicken tender bricks deep fried and then saturated in spice oil to make them hot. The outside was very crisp with a thick shell of bread. They use heat oil to spice but seemingly no rub or other flavors. It was very long John silvers reminiscent minus salt. The koolaid was tasty but very sweet Banana pudding was overcooked and super sugary but decent flavor however very sweet The French fries were indeed the best thing we ate and we didn't eat them all. Bbq sauce is VERY sweet. After recovering from newly found diabetic shock, we tried the baked potato salad... which is cold baked potato with stuff... but it's all cold so there is no flavor. Much like eating cold butter. Note: They own Frasers bbq nearby... which we will not be trying based on this experience of food. Price: 2 puddings, a drink, tender meal and kids meal was $40+ which would be fine if it actually tasted like Nashville. This is not Hattie B's! That's certain.

This is the first time I've had Nashville hot chicken tenders and they were very good. It had a very ASMR crunch to it. The breading was thin, but not in a bad way. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small. They do have a front patio that is quite adorable. The staff was amazing 10 out of 10. I will 100% come back when I'm on this side of town. The only thing I wish I could could've had is more napkins to blot off the oils. They did have a little kit with a fork and a knife and a napkin, but it was only one and I need a little more than that. I looked around and didn't see any. I just wish there was napkins at the table.

If you're looking for a good Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, this is the place to go. We've been here a couple of times now and we'll be back. On this visit we got 3 sandwiches. 2 medium heat and 1 mild heat. They also have chicken breasts, thighs, wings, chicken wings and tenders. The sandwiches we got were full of flavor and just the right amount of heat for us. My oldest wants to try the hot on our next visit. I was surprised how big the piece of chicken was. To top it off, you get a side of yummy seasoned fries. We didn't leave a fry behind. Lol. My kids love that they had Kool Aid. We ate our food there and we were the only ones there on a Tuesday evening. It was very busy for take out orders though. They have a small inside dining area and a nice big outdoor dining area. If you like spicy chicken sandwiches, you have to try this place!

It's a place for all seasons. No one in my party of five complained about the food. We all liked the service. Mine was Pasta with Meatballs, Spinach and Mushrooms. The food was very hot (temperature) and full-flavored. The sauce was thick and smooth, made from tomatoes. Nothing very fancy, but very satisfying in taste and portion size. Nice place, maybe that's why it's so crowded on Saturday

I wasn't sure how full it was going to be so I made a reservation online for 11:45 am. FYI we did our own self parking outside the garage but we found parking can get validated here. It wasn't too full and we got seated right away. The inside is beautiful and elegant. Service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive. I started off with the pressed juice, Parisian Cure: Carrot, Apple, Cucumber, Ginger, Lemon. It was so good! That is usually my to go to blend of fruits and veggies for a pressed juice. Very natural tasting and perfect. 5/5. You can take these to go which I will in the future. Fair price too compared to other places. My partner has the L'orange martini: Park VS. Apricot Liqueur, Cointreau, Lemon, Orange Oil. He found it strong (but that's the nature of martinis), flavorful and refreshing. He enjoyed it 5/5. Next up we shared the French onion soup and Caesar salad and they were made into our own individual portions. French onion soup wax to die for! By far my favorite onion soup I've had. 5/5 The Caesar salad called the, cacio e Pepe Caesar was simple but perfect. Dressing wasn't too peppery and great in flavor. I was worried about the croutons being more crumbled but it still added the perfect crunch. 5/5 Next up, main dish: steak frites. Amaaaazing! We've been on a mission to look for a yummy steak frites and everywhere we've been we have been disappointed (flavor off, sauce terrible, temperature of meat over or under cooked, steak quality not good, fries unimpressive). HOWEVER that was not the case here! EVERYTHING was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfect. Flavor was simple yet enough. The quality of the steak was good for what it was. Got the classic fries and they were beautifully made with crisp crunchy outside and soft inside. Salty but not too salty fries that hit perfect with every bite. Looooooved! 5/5 I came in with skepticism but left with happy stomach and heart! This place definitely lived up to the hype. Happy we came. I would love to check out the coffee/matcha in the future. I also would love to find back to check out the dinner since we loved it so much. What a great experience. Definitely recommend!

They're friendly, courteous, and focus in on the reason for your visit. In this case we were celebrating a big birthday for my mom and Jenna made sure she felt special and welcomed. The basics here are also handled well- food coming out quickly, plates being cleared away etc. My sister and I shared a Prime Rib French Dip and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The bread can make or break the sandwich but it was the perfect consistency and I loved the garlic butter on it. Gruyère was a good choice for the cheese. We appreciated that Jenna brought a complimentary crème brûlée for my mom's birthday but she took it a step further. She arranged for us to have the larger size so that the four of us could split the dessert - truly going above and beyond. The valet area is a little hectic ( and $) but you do have the option to self park instead. Le Âme was a nice spot to celebrate with our mother.

They describe their own ambiance as "clubby and chic". I'd agree with that assessment. Dark wood and low lighting thoughtfully dominate. Ground level elegant, cozy bar and 2-top seating, main dining is downstairs and in addition to booths and tables, there's another bar. If I was shopping at Fashion Mall and wanted to stop in for Happy about libation and shareable bites to eat, would stay upstairs. They've got a lively happy hour program. The food and beverage program shines in a lot of ways. Cocktails are inventive and ai tried their riff on an Old Fashioned they call Fancy Cowboy Attire. It includes a peanut mole and cinnamon ... I was hesitant at first, but my knowledgeable server Izzy assured me it was really good. She was spot on. I loved it. There are some nice maki sushi appetizer offerings as well as some other shareable that evoke American and French influences. I ordered the oysters from the west coast US. Really fresh and served traditionally. Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. For entree, went with the New Orleans/French. Inspired Salmon. Perfectly cooked and served with roasted potato, artichokes, arugula, and I think a béchamel sauce. Light and flavorful. Paired well with a nice 9 oz pour of French Sancerre. For dessert tried the schoolmate sticky toffee. Melts in your mouth. Dessert menu is fantastic. Had a hard time picking just one. Throughout the meal, staff was attentive and knowledgeable and my server Izzy was not afraid or hesitant to offer recommendations. I was super impressed. Entrance to Society Swan just opposite the green garage valet which is convenient. With cocktail, wine, appetizer, entree and dessert I was at about $150 before tax and tip. That would be a good per person estimate for the full, enjoyable meal. Highly recommend.

It's a Fox Restaurant Concept place and for us half are good and half are meh. Regular pricing on the menu was a little high for the quality of food. Having to go through fancytown mall wasn't our jam and we realized after it was close to the "other" valet but still weird to have to go into the mall to enter. Service felt a little rushed like we were taking too long with our 3 courses for 3 people. Crispy chicken potstickers were pretty good, w a great sauce for dipping. Ten vegetable salad was good but a little small if that was the regular menu size. Wagyu pigs in a blanket were my favorite thing. Short rib had good risotto but sauce was way too sweet. Chicken francese was our favorite entree. Good flavor w great sauce. Maine lobster roll wasn't that good. Didn't taste like much, like no seasoning and seemed to have something extra that didn't help. As a person from New England, this wouldn't hold up back East. Desserts were okay. Sticky toffee wasn't for me. Praline cake thing was alright. The tart was the best. I wouldn't call their martinis "world famous" as the restaurant does. My wife's dirty was almost crystal clear. Anyone who orders a dirty martini wants enough brine to make it cloudy, at least a little bit. This one was like it had no salt to it. Fancy Cowboy Attire is a horrible drink. Like diabetes sweet. I don't know how a rye whiskey drink could be this bad. It may be the worst $18 cocktail I've ever had. I had to chug it and hated it. It has a lovely ambiance, the food is good, and while we had a few issues with our food, the service was delightful. We also found some fun offers when booking through OpenTable. We arrived to Aftermath for an evening reservation on a Saturday night that we made through OpenTable. The parking spots in front were taken so we drove around to the back where there was plenty of parking. We found a parking spot right by the back door to the restaurant, which we had to pull to open (though that was easy to do). We then walked to the host stand and were seating right upon arrival. Our server Allyn was wonderful! She answered our many questions, gave some great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. We started out by ordering a cocktail and wanted something fruity, sweet, and made with vodka, and while nothing on the menu fit this request, we had Allyn work with the bartender to create a "Bartender's Choice" drink, which turned out to be a Blackberry Mint. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We then ordered Rigatoni Alla Vodka for my wife (consisting of imported rigatoni, Calabrian chili vodka sauce, parmesan, and basil) and an Aftermath Burger for me (consisting of 2 Arizona grass fed blend patties, velveeta, red onion, house pickles, toasted onion Kona bun, and Aftermath burger sauce with fries). We learned that the Rigatoni Alla Vodka has a spiciness level of 2 out of 5, though Allyn put in a request for my wife to get it at a 1 out of 5, and it was perfect. Our only issue is that when my dish arrived, the fries were actually cold and the burgers were barely lukewarm. It was busy at that time in the restaurant, and once I got the attention of someone to assist, they quickly brought out a replacement burger, which was delicious. The fries tasted almost as if they were nuked in a microwave, but they were still a good complement to the burger. Learn more about Aftermath at https://aftermathphoenix.com. They are open for lunch daily from 11-3 except for Friday and Saturday when they are open from 10-3. They are open daily for dinner from 4-10 PM. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 PM and live music every Sunday from 7-9 PM. Open Table also offers specials. The first time you book Aftermath through Open Table, you can get a drink for only a penny. After several visits, you then earn a free appetizer or dessert, and after several more visits, you earn a free burger. While we had the issue with the burger and fries temperature, Aftermath redeemed themselves by quickly replacing it, and otherwise, we had a very good experience. We do plan on visiting again in the near future.
