I went there with my family to eat the food was really good and we enjoyed the food I recommend it.

My daughter and I were visiting South Carolina to pick up our new Marine. After family day we were exhausted, took a late nap and woke up looking for a good meal late but not fast food. We found a Long horn just five minutes from our hotel. There was no wait and we instantly greeted and seated. Our server was so sweet and customer service was on point! We have favorites at Long horn so we knew exactly what we wanted. The southwest egg rolls for our appetizer is always necessary. My daughter order chicken tenders with Parmesan on top along with Mac and cheese and a loaded potato. I ordered the Parmesan chicken breast with Brussels and a sweet potato. Our food came out fast and hot with no one complaint. Our server was very attentive but also allowed us to enjoy our meal and catch up. This was so pleasant. I was able to pay my tab and tip by scanning the QR code on my receipt which I loved. Parking was plentiful; the staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! Outstanding Dining Experience! I've been to Longhorn Steakhouse a few times in Charleston and came here for a first date. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The service was top notch - attentive, friendly, and quick w/o feeling rushed. Very clean place. Strange odor in bar area Bartender did not make us feel welcome, seemed like we were inconvenient to him Waited at least forty minutes for our food in a sparsely populated restaurant We were told we get two sides each, what we weren't told is that the sides he offered were up charged to the point we paid $20 more than we expected. Server smiled as he apologized for not telling us about the upcharge. I could've, should've gone to one of the many independent restaurants in the area. Lesson Learned. Hostess are not pleasant or welcoming. Both times we visited, we were one of the few people in the restaurant, yet the hostess who was at the hostess stand didn't acknowledge our presence for several minutes. Very awkward. The service was good and the food was good. I have decided getting a truly medium steak is impossible at the majority of steak restaurants. Both times, mine was overcooked, but I decided to just deal with it, as I was hungry. The dinner salad was excellent, although I wish they would chop the greens into smaller pieces. We arrived at 11:45 am. Our server took drink orders-- when she came back with drinks we placed order for onion petals--- waitress said sorry the fryer is down. I wanted to leave then-- but companions said no.. let's order something else. We ordered 2 Flos filets medium...half an hour went by.... No food.... 45 minutes.... No food. I finally flagged a lady--- said she was kitchen manager. There was "a lot going on" in kitchen.. food was starting to come out." We continued to wait--- other patrons were getting really annoyed. Table beside us started leaving--- refused a partial food order--- manager came back out five minutes later with the platter of food--- lady was irate saying no she was leaving. It was a who thing going on--Out food finally came out. My filet was well done.... And cold. My friends was medium rare and cold. Her food was inedible. My broccoli was cold----paid $74 for a meal--- and then went to Culver's to get chicken sandwiches for lunch. I understand sometimes things happen. They should have told us when we came in the menu was limited because fryer was down. The management at this restaurant is terrible. Last trip there for me. I understand it can be busy at dinner time. However when you're served COLD food. And the server doesn't care and the manager can't be bothered to at least come talk to you about the poor service and cold food. That's a reason to not want to go back anymore. read more

No one was at the front desk to manage people coming in. Bar service was very slow. Bartender was managing the kitchen and the bar Waiter was ambivalent and didn't get the orders correct. Brought the wrong appetizers and said take it or leave it. I forgot to put the order in and this is what I could get. He did not bring the sides Food was awful. Steak that was medium was raw and cold inside. Chicken was very salty. Baked sweet potato was supposed to come with a brown sugar and cinnamon butter. We came in for dinner last night, and if I'm not mistaken this is our first restaurant visit of 2025! So after being stuck at the house for three days because of the snow, cabin fever set in and we decided to get out and eat something besides homemade chili. It was kind of strange pulling up to a Longhorn Steakhouse covered jn snow in the SC Low Country! We walked in and were seated right away. I would say this location seems a bit smaller than some of the ones I've visited in larger cities. The atmosphere was very relaxing, music wasn't too loud and the lighting was just right. This location is well staffed, and the waitstaff was very polite and quick to help. Kat ordered chicken fingers w/ fries, I had the burger & fries and we spit a Caesar salad. All the items came out quick and fresh. We were both happy with our entrees, which were nothing exotic, but did the job of a quick night out in some unusual weather for this part of the country. Placed a take out order and the entire process took 1 hour and 50 minutes. It began at 6 pm and my Wife received the Order at 6:50 pm. Now that is rediculous. The food was good as always except for the asparagus and mmh Wife could not eat hers at all. My mouth was on fire but it was good for me. I use pick up service at least half of my visits to Longhorns Beaufort SC. The food is always good and the orders correct 99% of the time BUT last night when picking up my order the girl comes out with a ticket book to my car and I thought it was Tacky and a way of sucking a tip out of their customers for doing their job!!!! I always leave 21% tip when dining in but that'll be the last drive up and pick up I do! I have Zero issue walking inside myself to retrieve my pick up order but I Do have a Huge Issue giving the person bringing my food I just paid $100 for $5 bucks for walking 20 feet to my car with a paper bag! No other pick up at restaurants do this and longhorn never did before last night! read more

Was told that I had a 20-30 minute wait. After 30 minutes I asked for an update. I was told that they had called in a waiter and as soon as someone showed up for work I would be seated but it would probably be another 15 minutes. Not a great first impression. This restaurant smells bad! The horrible odor is noticeable from the second you enter. It reeks like a mildewed dishrag. (we should've left!). The hostess had something white smeared on the front of her navy shirt and didn't even greet us. The waitress took a long time to come to our table, then after bringing our salads (that had way too much dressing in them...my husband sent his back and got dressing on the side) she disappeared, so we waited with inedible salads for 15 minutes. My salmon was hot & cooked as ordered, but it came with a very small amount of cold rice underneath. The crispy brussel sprouts side was burnt. I hope the manager of this restaurant reads Yelp reviews and can get this restaurant back to how it was when it first opened. Until this restaurant gets a deep cleaning inside and gets better staff, we won't be back. read more

So this is the kind of place where families bring their restless kids and let them run in circles around the tables or give them a kazoo to keep them occupied. (Yes, this actually happened while I was here. How does anyone think this is okay?!) Service can be slow - they don't have enough people. Not the waiter's fault - he was very courteous and professional. I got the steak salad - undercooked, somewhat grisly bits of steak. (Better than overcooked, I guess.) My daughter & I popped in for lunch while I was visiting in Aug '21. Neither of us were really hungry but I wanted to try the place. We ordered the salads and they were so fresh! I didn't know how I would feel about beef in my salad but it was great. There were only 4-5 small pieces, could have been a bit more, but the salad was very filling. The sweet potato I ordered along with it was good, but the 'cinnamon butter' was a small bit of butter with a ton of cinnamon sugar piled on top. It almost gags you when you take a bite. Next time I'll tell them to put it on the side, or else add more butter & pour less sugar. My daughter order a lobster bisque that she said was yummy. Our sever was very nice and didn't rush us. It was a late lunch so they weren't too busy, but there were a few people there. The atmosphere is lovely & the country music was at the right level and nice to hear while in a steakhouse. Check out the bar, it is large and looks like it would be fun during for sports watching... so I'll be back! read more

The manager is clueless we called Monday to say we had 20 people coming in Friday at 5 pm .We ordered at the same time three people got food and then four But at least 6 did not get food. Impressive. From the moment we walked in, a warm greeting from the hostess, and friendly smile from bartender Danny, we had an excellent dinner. The food was fresh, crisp and yummy - steak cooked perfectly. Staff was attentive and present, and managers were engaged in the overall experience. Our server was wonderful. However, our food was less than mediocre. I asked for a medium-well steak and got a very solid (and almost crunchy) well cooked steak. My mashed potatoes were DROWNING in butter, and I had to pour it onto a second plate even after mixing it in. The broccoli was the best part of this dinner. My husband had the cheeseburger and fries. I in to place a pick up order. I was on hold at least 20 minutes when someone did come to the phone. I was a little irritable and I explained and pleaded my case. The lady took my order I went and I picked it up and I was charged extra $28 instead of 25 so I asked the young lady why my order was so much she said the asparagus was an up charge. The point is I don't have a problem paying for it, but if it was stated or mention to me when they took the order, I would've been aware of it. It's just the principal I order from Longhorn in Beaufort a lot but lately the quality of service has really went down and when I mentioned it to the server about the up charge and that I did not want it again she claims it was already cooked well they prepared it already ma'am that's not the point so I did end up not having to pay extra, but like I said, it's the principal and I'm gonna give it stars because their food is really good but they need to work on management, shortness of staff, and how certain things should be said in the right manner read more

Went for a birthday. Preface with it was not crowded. Empty tables all around. Server was slow to get all drinks to us. When they delivered our steaks EVERY steak was incorrect. The medium rates were well done or rare. We received 2 unordered items and everything came at different times. Also the steaks were over seasoned with salt or pepper - it also was random. If it's one of the ONLY things one can count on in our country, it's that LongHorn will be consistent in every town in America. Good, consistent, friendly, fairly priced at every location. This location in particular was very friendly which was such a joy following a 9 hour drive. I met up with a coworker to have a quick bite and it was near closing time, but they welcomed us! Tells you a lot about the place. They didn't have servers....I understand but they should communicate with you. When you did go inside and see 75 percent of the tables empty, that says it all. My Cousin just sent me a meme about how great eating at restaurants will be. This reminded me to give a shout out to Amy, proprietor of LongHorn Steakhouse in Bft. A wk or so ago Sha Mister-Tucker posted about the family meal deals she's offering. While I know there are those who will have their opinions, I'm giving mine. After three 12's I went to work with Aaron Kelly, another essential worker who hasn't had a day off since our anniversary March 6. We haven't been shopping since I was threatened while wearing my clean scrubs...we wear masks, carry sanitizer, bleach wipes and practice social distancing. So shut it, people's houses still need to be repaired. At 8 pm we were exhausted and HUNGRY, with an hour drive home and nothing planned for dinner. Anyway, we came home and actually enjoyed each other's company for the first time in a month. Ate great food and drank every drop of the six-pack of...yes...Corona lol. "Join Waitlist"? Having had several good experiences at Longhorn, I checked the website at 6:30 last night. "Join Waitlist" came up with current waiting time 1 to 15 minutes and "we'll save your place for 10 minutes beyond." We signed up and left immediately for the 15 to 20 minute drive only to be told at hostess stand "it''ll be about 30 minutes." We didn't establish the schedule; they did. We should have been able to rely on it. Disappointing experience. read more
