I had the parmesan crusted salmon over rice with double steamed broccoli and a Caesar salad with extra Caesar dressing. AND Water of course! Meal was good but I couldnt finish it. Got it to go. Hubby ordered the blackened ribeye steak medium well with mashed potatoes and broccoli OK SO it came out well well done and he didnt like, we bought it to their attention and he received another one at the right temp without hesitation. The night there was extremely busy but they ran it like a well oiled machine. There was a minor accident with a family that dined in like us and the staff stepped in very quickly to help. Went in late on the Sunday before Memorial Day! Busy as usual. But our food was cooked correctly. The exception was the lettuce in the salad . The white core pieces were turning pink meaning they were not fresh . I can't eat that as I have a sensitive stomach. read more

Not only that I receive a burnt steak when I ordered a medium well with Parmesan crust. I also ordered two sweet potatoes and a loaded baked potato but received three sweet potatoes with loaded fixings. This location has gone down in the last few years. I was very disappointed with the service I received for my pickup order and the food portions you receive when you place a pickup order. My pickup time for my order was 7:15 pm. I was at the restaurant at 7:05. I received my food around 7:45-7:50 pm. I have ordered the 7 oz. LongHorn Salmon with 8 ct. Redrock Grilled shrimp many times in the restaurant. My plate has never looked like the attached picture of the food I received. It looks like someone literally through this food in the tray and closed the top. I asked the young man who brought out my order if I could get a cup of rice since my serving was very scarce. He never came back. My husband love Longhorn Steakhouse, so since we were in the neighborhood, we had lunch here. We started out with an appetizer. I love soup, so I had lobster and shrimp chowder and my husband had wild Wild West shrimp. For our drinks, my husband had a beer and I had strawberry lemonade. My husband and I had never visited this location before. We've been missing out. The hostess wasn't very pleasant but she did seat us promptly. Our server made up for pleasantries. I can't remember her name but she was delightful, knowledgeable of the menu, and very prompt. No surprise, she has been with LH since 2006. We ordered the grilled lamb chops and LH burger. Both proteins were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We both took leftovers for the next day, which heated without losing tenderness. From the outside, this location seems small as it's a part of a strip mall. However, the inside is very open with lots of seating. My party of 8 was seated immediately. Jocelyne (our waitress) was absolutely amazing! She helped with our birthday celebration by taking our cake to the kitchen and lighting the candles for it to be a surprise. This is my go to Longhorns but honestly the service is getting better and better every single time we come. Tonight we were seated super quick on a Saturday in most establishments that doesn't happen. Our waiter Averett was awesome in anticipating our needs, since we usually come here we order fast. I got the red rock grilled shrimp with broccoli and rice pilaf.. My hubby got the flo's filet with a lobster tail, broccoli and loaded baked potato. They also have a new non alcoholic drink that is so delicious blackberry lemonade... I am not sure if they have new management but lately I have had wonderful experiences here... We stopped here after running an errand just to get a break and food. We were greeted and soon seated by Kelvin, the top trainer. He gave us suggestion and made the margarita we ordered for two, himself. He was very knowledgeable, personable and efficient. Our appetizer was stuffed mushrooms and dinner was the outlaw ribeye, steakhouse Mac and cheese with asparagus. What an absolute pleasure Thomas M is as a server! He was quick to greet us upon arrival, and the iced tea was at our table within just a few seconds. Our lunch consisted of the Longhorn Burger and a seven pepper sirloin salad, both of which were tasty and fresh. We were just passing through town at the time, but if we lived in the area this would be a restaurant we'd frequently visit. First time visiting this location. We went in around lunch time. It wasn't very busy at all. Our server was nice. The bread loaf they bring out wasn't edible. It was extremely hard and literally needed to be sawed. We asked for another and received another load of equal hardness. We ordered the ribeye and the longhorn steaks. They ribeye was cooked well but the Longhorn was cooked a lot longer than I would have personally liked. The kids did enjoy their tenders and cheeseburger meals so no complaints there. This is our favorite steakhouse in Douglasville. Our favorite appetizers are the Wild West Shrimp and the Firecracker Chicken Wraps. You can't go wrong with any of their appetizers actually. For entrees, I usually get the grilled salmon as I'm not big on meat but I recently discovered their Parmesan crusted chicken and that's really delicious. Service here is always on point, the servers are all courteous and friendly. We've been to all the other chain steakhouses here but we prefer LongHorn over all the others. On Saturday November the 13th the wife and I visited this location around 5:30 pm and we were knocked out with awesome service. I had the outlaw ribeye and wife had the sirloin and shrimp. Her plate was perfect right out of the kitchen. My ribeye not so much. Oh and our server Ansley was superb she was quick on her feet and brought out refills without us asking and more bread with just a nod. My steak was requested at medium temperature but it arrived at rare. The manager Lauren was running food and immediately grabbed my plate and disappeared into the kitchen, she was back about 13 mins later and everything was perfect. I visited LongHorn Steakhouse with my hubby last Tuesday around 7:30 PM to celebrate our anniversary. Social distancing was enforced and I did observe staff with masks and sanitizing after customers left their tables. We didn't mention that it was our anniversary, but the experience was still special. There was no wait and our waitress was hospitable. I enjoyed the quiet environment. We ordered the 8 oz. Renegade steaks. My husband had a Caesar salad and baked potato. I tried the crispy Brussel sprouts and a house salad with Cesar salad dressing. The waitress suggested that we try the steak with an open flame and we did and it was very good and juicy. My husband ordered his medium rare and I ordered mine medium. Both steaks were good without steak sauce. My side salad was fresh and I loved how the toppings were diced. We were offered complimentary bread and it was good as well. Overall, it was a good meal and nice experience. The hostess was nice enough to take a photo of us together and I really appreciated that. My $30 steak that I want to be medium cooked at this location keeps coming out burnt. This is the third steak they have done this too, to me. The night managers look at me like it's my fault. She even tried to tell me that the temperature of the steak is reading med temp. I told her that's because you done carried the steak across the restaurant three times then came back with the burnt steak and cold asparagus and sweet potato was supposed to be just sweet potato not sweet potato with butter and sugar all over it. I'm a diabetic this restaurant just does not listen. Even the restaurant is looking kind of dated the carpets are nasty. The little lamps that your table are falling off their connecting base just hanging there, the hostess she's always picking her nose at the front. I was suggest going to a different longhorns. Douglasville Longhorn is just gross. The waiters and waitresses are awesome but the cooks and the management needs to be retrained.
