Bill with service charge
Bob B.

Food and service is good but you need to be aware that they automatically add a 20% tip, which appears on your bill as a "Service Charge" and our waitress never mentioned this and I almost added an additional tip. I noticed the bill from the table next to us and in addition to their $17 plus change "Service Fee" they left a $22 tip, so in the end they ended up leaving a $39 tip, very unscrupulous of this establishment, that's why I gave them a one star review and won't be returning.

Blackened Catfish Shrimp & Grits

Modern southern menu with upscale vibe in the restaurant. I had the blackened catfish & grits. It was SO full of flavor and came out piping hot!! I had to let it cool down!! The wait staff were super friendly I'll deff be coming back here again!!

Went to Farm and Oak for a team dinner. We had a party by of eight and the team handled us with aplomb. I had a nice Old Fashioned and had the Fried Chicken dinner which was very good. We shared some deserts which were also quite tasty. The waitress was very courteous and helpful.

Stopped in for dinner with family--chill vibe, friendly staff, and great recommendations made it perfect!

Salad was a great value. Large tasty and the light balsamic dressing was prefect. Really loved the fried Brussel Sprouts and fried Green Tomatoes. The chicken breast sandwich had some wonderful bacon on it. Good size and delicious. The club sandwich was also a great meal with fries that were hot and crispy. But by far my favorite was the fried Chicken and French Toast with butter and maple syrup. Service was great and very casual restaurant ambiance.

Love this little gem! We were able to sit on the patio but if you wanted specific indoor seating you do need a reservation. The music outside and the vibe was chill. I ordered the Fried Chicken and French Toast. We also ordered the Southern Hospitality chicken sandwich. My food was amazing. Perfect portion for me personally. The chicken sandwich was missing our pimento cheese and a little soggy from the greens. However, the overall meal was enjoyable and the service was great.

This is a hidden gem in a shopping center. Fried pimento cheese, short rib egg rolls, the pesto dip OMG. No stress, family friendly ATMOS, nice drink choices, menu has something for everyone. Service was great , not pushy or up tight and attentive. Ambiance is refined roughwood and clean cut lines. Clean and all business. It's all about the elevated southern cuisine and they have done that....elevated. Really nice all around!!

Fried permento cheese

Went for the happy hour and there weren't too many options for food. I got the fried permento cheese and the fried brussel sprouts which were pretty good. My partner had the crispy salmon skin and it was okay but not worth the price. The service was great and they automatically charge 20% to pay their staff slightly above minimum wage which I love the idea of. The vibes and look of the place was really modern which didn't really match with the name of the place in my opinion

Great service, great food. I love the carrots and brussels here. The wings were decent. Its always a pleasure to dine here.

I brought my father here for a Father's Day dinner, and I was really looking forward to it. I know this is the sister location to Lillie Pearl, so I planned on ordering my usual dishes and had some recommendations for my father. Simply put, the food was not up to par with what I've come to expect at Lillie Pearl, even though the menu items are the same. The short rib egg rolls were bland. Literally, they tasted like nothing. The Brussels sprouts were decent. My father ordered the short rib entrée, and while he thought it was decent, I tried it and again found it not up to par. The desserts were decent enough, but the banana pudding which usually has caramelized bananas on top in addition to the candied nuts did not taste the same. The bananas were mushy and brown, mixed throughout the pudding, and there were none on top, only the nuts. I'm not sure if this was just a one-off or what, but I'll stick to the location I'm used to moving forward

A creative twist on Southern food. The environment is warm and inviting. Attention from the staff is just right. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked burger + fries. You can dine in or on the patio.

Friday evening

Chanced upon this restaurant and found a gem! A spin-off from Lillie Pearl, Farm and Oak serves amazing comfort food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Sat outside on a beautiful Friday evening. Shrimp and grits was very flavorful. Smothered pork chop was delicious but a little tough for me. Banana pudding and Oreo red velvet were yummy. Our server Lindsay was very friendly and attentive, giving great recommendations. Had a great experience here. Would definitely be back and highly recommend!

Southern Breakfast Bowl

A good brunch place, the food is pretty good and service smooth. The menu selections are a bit limited compared to other brunch establishments, and coffee would have been a nice option to proffer, but the ambiance and quality of food make up for that.

A party of two ate well and was satisfied with the amount and quality of our meals. The first meal was steak and eggs. Without prompting I heard how well seasoned the flatiron steak was. The other meal was calf's liver with mushrooms and onions. Two large pieces of bacon was across the dish. It was very good served with a full orders of corn, potatoes and gravy, and veggies. I switched the mixed vegetables for spinach and garlic. Good choice. The spinach was fresh and sauteed with onions. Didn't care for the gravy on potatoes. Can't tell whether the off flavor was the gravy or the potatoes. My surprise was the appetizer. I chose turkey chilli that was so good. It was full body flavor with cooked beans and chopped veggies, which didn't take away from the chilli flavor. It was very good. I could have this for my main meal. So good. The server was adequate, but nothing exceptional.

The oldies music playing in the background just pulls it all together. What stood out most was the intention behind everything. The menu offers fresh, healthier options without sacrificing comfort, and you can tell the chef and owner genuinely take pride in what they're creating. There's something different when food is made with care--you don't just taste it, you feel it. That kind of energy is rare now. Since COVID, it's been harder to find places that still honor the experience of preparing food for others in a meaningful way. This place brought me right back to memories of going to Patsy's Diner in New Jersey with my grandmother--simple, warm, and full of heart. Top notch all around. We'll absolutely be back anytime we're passing through. Thank you for the good food, good energy, and genuine hospitality.

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.

It took over 20 minutes for our waitress to come over and greet us, and that wasn't even to take our drink orders. It was so long that we debated leaving, however we remember how good it was, so decided to stick the wait out. I should've taken the nearly empty restaurant as a sign. That's was my mistake. Might've been one of the longest meals of my life. The staff- who claim to be short staffed (which could very well be, I'm not downplaying that), however they frequently stood in front of the TV watching whatever sports game was on it... interesting. When we tried to get our waitresses attention (multiple times this occurred), we got a nasty side eye and she walked away and ignored us (lovely ). When we did finally get our meals, items of it were cold or incorrect (shoutout my mashed potatoes which were physically hard). With that being said, the wings were good, would recommend those if you're going here. Don't order the tacos on the other hand... elote corn was obviously frozen- gross. Other items of the meal you could tell were previously frozen too. I will say they offered us a complimentary dessert which was nice, I was just really disappointed with this experience overall. In my opinion this restaurant needs to be renovated and menu needs to be cleaned up (and the freshness of the food should be revalued), this place is going downhill and experience reflects that.
