Host desk lacks organization. Asked my party to have a seat and then multiple other people walk in and get seated right away which is an awfully frustrating. As well they had napkins all over the floor and multiple workers walking back and forth over them but nobody willing to clean them up. They need to do training with their employees. read more

Went to LongHorn tonight for a birthday dinner and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. We were quoted a 45 minute wait despite the dining room appearing mostly empty. Eventually we found out there was only one waitstaff member and the manager was actually cooking on the line, which explains the delay, but none of this was communicated clearly at first. I feel bad for the employees because they were obviously overwhelmed and understaffed, but as a customer it was frustrating and confusing. An empty dining room with a long wait time doesn't make sense unless someone explains what's going on. Hopefully management can improve staffing and communication because tonight did not feel organized or welcoming. Sadly, after this experience, I don't think we'll be returning. read more

Slow to be greeted and sat. Slow to be acknowledged after sitting by serving staff. Our waitress was new and things were rocky to begin with as our questions weren't really able to be answered. However the drinks and food made up for it and Our nervous waitress found her stride during the meal. The salmon-which I wouldn't normally order-was perfectly cooked and the glaze on it was delicious. My husband enjoyed his perfectly cooked medium rare steak. Each entree which are reasonably priced came with 3 sides. There's an up charge for some of them. With the salmon I got the mashed potatoes, side Caesar salad and the French onion soup (soup was a 2.99 up charge). Wow, what a great experience we had there on Friday, January 10. Our waiter was Joël. Very kind, available and attentive. What can I say about the food, except that it was exquisite. Wow wow wow. From start to finish, it was superb. Lovely atmosphere, cozy decor - pleasant and inviting. Very busy and crowded restaurant, but it was easy to see why, as their reputation is well established and well deserved. At first as an appetizer. Had a great meal at this restaurant last night! I was pleasantly surprised at how great the steak was! Cooked to temp, very flavorful, great cut of new york strip! The mashed potato side with butter was yummy, and the Mac and cheese was good as well! My husband had a very flavorful porkchop, it was a great bite! he also had the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious! They have drink specials, I got a $5 Jack and Coke that was definitely worth that price! The hostess was so-so, not overly friendly or helpful. I am normally a fan of Longhorn... great quality, decent, if repetitive atmosphere and great service at 1/3 the price of the expensive local steak houses... but our first visit to the Greece location was far from satisfying. We checked in through the app and there was no wait at 2:30 pm... until we got there... and then there was. The hostess station seemed a tad befuddled which definitely carried through to the rest of the staff. We were finally seated and our server, while very nice, seemed disconnected and was inattentive. We placed our pretty simple order and waited... and waited... and ate some bread which was the only fantastic part of our visit. Our food finally came, leaving limited time to eat and meet a scheduled appt nearby. Unfortunately, when I cut my burger in half the meat crumbled... it was actually raw. I also seriously doubt that it was 1/2 lb as advertised. No excuse for a restaurant that specializes in beef to fail to cook a simple burger. However the raspberry vinaigrette was overpowering--I got it in the side and literally just drizzled it over, using less than half of what was provided--and that was a bit too much! Two nights ago I decided to get a steak and chose Longhorn Steakhouse. Every aspect of the 'take out' order was excellent except for the cook on the steak! I ordered it med rare and it came rare. That's the problem with take out; had I been in the restaurant; they could have put it back in for two minutes and it would have been perfect. Went here on a Saturday night for dinner with 5 other people. Wait was about 45 minutes and we waited just that. Place is very noisy so you have to talk kind of loud to hear other people. Our waitress was very friendly. Kept our drinks filled and we always had bread and butter. I love their bread because it has honey on it and since it comes out warm the butter melts when you put it on. I did a steak with a sweet potato, asparagus (up charge since I didn't get salad). I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out just how I like it. Asparagus was a little salty for my liking and chewy on the ends. Sweet potato was huge but they burnt the outside so I couldn't eat all the skin. Should have asked for the brown sugar on the side as it was to much sugar. My fiancé ordered the 7-pepper steak salad which was huge! He enjoyed it.. Everyone else ordered their steaks medium and some said it was a little to pink. They have garlic mashed potatoes and regular mashed potatoes. Normally the garlic ones come with a certain entrée but you can order them. Heads up its not listed as one of their sides. Both people that ordered them loved them but one had some garlic with skin still on it. I never took the chance to stay and eat here. I couldn't get past what I was seeing as I walked in from the parking lot, there was so much trash! There was so much litter under the bushes that had obviously been there for a long time. Walking up to the door there was even more litter, this is the "sense of arrival" that I received.
