Always as good as one hopes for. Everything hot and prepared as ordered. We had another couple join us and it was their first here. They'll be back!

They have great salads! Very busy during the lunch hours. I've eaten during the evening hours, with the same great service.

The last time we went at 2pm on a Thursday during a heat wave in the summer. It was not busy. we had been out running errands and stopped in for a quick beer and appetizer. Wait staff is always so nice and it was exactly what we needed. They have something for everyone and the food always is fresh and doesn't seem frozen or processed. Definitely one of our go to spots on the west side

The main dining room can get very loud on busy nights so I appreciated the more closed off space for a large dinner event. The caveat being we received spotty service - for example, water pitchers were set in the corner and you had to get up to pour your own water. At minimum, it would've been better to just leave pitchers on the table directly for faster access. Food was hit or miss. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance. I'd come back again to give it another try because the menu rotates enough where I'm sure I'll land on some better food options next time.

Yelp brought us here for lunch on a Saturday in mid-October. In town for the Packers/Texans game,…read morethis lunch shack was a few miles from our hotel and after reading the reviews, we took a chance on checking this out. Fortunately we were rewarded with a pleasant experience that was light on the wallet (for 2020s standards) and made us fans. Don't be fooled by the exterior/interior as it may give a cabin-like feeling when you're around. The staff are diligent in making the tables clear while getting orders ready. They only had two people working who both were doing the cooking, phone orders, in-person orders, and cleaning/bussing. Talk about a do-it-all crew. Now for the eats. I ordered a bowl of booyah and some cheese curds while pops had a plain burger. My first time having booyah, it reminds me of brunswick stew; tons of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, beans, in a thick tomato broth. Tons of flavor and quite filling, there's a reason why they sell quarts of this for tailgating and the cold stay-at-home days. I would dip my cheese curds in here which were also tasty. Right fried texture with a good cheese pull, dip it in the booyah for some of that salty consistency. Talk about a food-cheat code! My pops burger was cooked a perfect medium-rare and for only $6, was quite a bargain. This will be on the rotation whenever I'm in Green Bay for the Booyah and to try other items like their poutine and fried cod dinners. Booyahkasha!

We were not greeted and had to wait on the hostess. When she arrived she didn't greet us, just said, do you need to pay your bill? When we said, no we needed a table, suddenly there was this apparent rush to seat us w/o any further interaction. Our waitress had a nice enough demeanor but after taking our order she disappeared. Other tables seated after us were served well before us, to the point they were finishing their meals as our orders were just coming out from the kitchen. I ordered their French toast combo w/ a side of hash browns, asking for the toast to please be put on a separate plate. Andy ordered an omelette and biscuits & gravy. I think a simple enough order, minus my request for a separate plate. My meal was served on three plates, two of which were hot, the food however was not. The eggs were cold and rubbery, the French toast soggy and the potatoes soaked w/ grease; everything cold after sitting under a heat lamp. Andy's meal was mediocre. The waitress eventually returned asking how everything was, I told her my food was cold and she offered to have it remade but after the amount of time it took for the initial order I declined. She returned a second time asking if I wanted a cinnamon roll or anything else and again I declined. There was a gentleman working who we'd talked about as we waited on our meals. He appeared to be a manger, perhaps an owner? I'd mentioned how refreshing it was to see him taking an active role in the service of other guests and staff. But after receiving our meals he seemed to have fallen into an apparent abyss. We didn't see him for the rest of our visit. However the ambiance/attitude of the staff completely changed. There was much more attention and interaction w/ the other guests, but for me, personally, it was too little too late. There's a lot that one can recover from w/ a simple word or gesture, but not a word was uttered about why our order took so long, where our server went, or even a simple apology for the food taking so long or it being cold. The gentleman that was there and so jovial w/ others, said nothing to us. They did take my meal off the ticket, which I appreciate. But this was only our second visit there and will be my last. Perhaps our ticket was misplaced, or we came in as our server & others were going on break, heck maybe they had to completely fire something from scratch but none of this was explained.... all that was left was a bad taste in my mouth and an empty stomach.

The caramel Thai chili sauce with the pretzel sticks was surprisingly tasty. And , shocking to me, less spicy than the cheese sauce. You all probably need to: 1- have your servers tell people that IF they purchase game cards, there is a new card fee associated with the cards... AND 2- tell people that "suggested tips" do include game card purchases. My game card purchases came up to $96 for 3 cheap cards. My food and drink purchase came to about $54. So a grand total of (after 5.5% tax added to the entire charge- apparently this is subjective to the location (city/county determines) if tax is applied Gamer Cards. My bill suggested approximately $27-$33 based on the entire total including gamer cards. Even according to AI, standard is on food/beverage purchases only. However, to have your servers tell people, it gives them forewarning, if I had been forewarned, I may have considered more... but then, like I said, when I needed the server, Tiffany, I did not see her for about 20 min. So, I did 20% on the food bill. Providing the math on the receipt. Later (about 15 min, while we were gaming), I looked over, and I saw the server sit down at our booth with her hands in her head. Seriously, was she really expecting tip of approx $30 because of the gaming cards???? If so, I'm sorry to disappoint.
