Hello This is a great spot at the harbor in GB. They have a great patio amd the restaurant looks very nice inside. I had the Southwest Chicken Salad that was delicious! It would have given them 5 stars if the service was better. I was here by myself for a good hour and a half and it was just me. And the place was not that busy. Sorry to complain a little. But there is something wrong with training of staff or something. Lots of confusion. Good job other than that. Just a little more timeliness amd attentiveness! While in Green Bay recently a group of 10 visited The OC for dinner on a Friday evening around 6 pm. Reservations had been made and we were promptly seated on our arrival. The restaurant has a modern feel with an upscale vibe. Views are nice through the large windows looking out on the patio and the Fox river. Service was quick, very friendly and efficient. Drink orders were taken immediately and an appropriate amount of time was given to make our dining choices. We ordered Argentinian Red Shrimp ceviche ($16), caramelized Brussels sprouts ($14) and pesto fries ($12) as appetizers. Each order was large enough to share with our group. Taste was outstanding for all, but the Brussels sprouts were to die for. Several in our party had a cup of clam chowder ($5), again very tasty, with a bit of a spicy kick. Dinner orders included the Friday deep fried perch dinner that included green beans and fries ($21), a shrimp po boy sandwich ($19), blackened shrimp tacos that came with rice ($18), grilled blt salad ($16), the OC burger ($17) and a 5oz steak filet ($30) cooked as ordered. Everyone enjoyed their dinners, no one was disappointed. We had a variety of cocktails during our meal, too many and varied to list here but all were priced as you would expect in any good restaurant. All in all this was an amazing experience, can't speak highly enough about The OC. Just wish I lived a bit closer, would be a place I'd frequent often. read more

Im in Green Bay for work and saw this place and that they had something called pesto fries. So I decided to give it try. Im a vegetarian and they had the portobello bruschetta sandwich and a side of pesto fries. The fries could have been a little bit more done and had the pesto and parmesan spread out more. But other than that they were good. The portobello sandwich was very good the right amount of sauce and cheese. I took off the top of the bun to eat it but it was still good. Would definitely come here again and actually eat it looked like a cool place inside and I bet they have soon good drinks. read more

I grabbed brunch at The OC this morning with a few friends. It is a restaurant that has seen a couple lives it sounds like. It is a large space with a pretty view and a lot of outdoor seating. The service was very good, but a little overwhelming with the amount of check ins. I got the stuffed portobello breakfast and it was good but pretty sloppy and tricky to eat. The entrées we ordered were good. The service workers kept apologizing for how slow everything was there was obviously a problem in the kitchen with reduced help that night. Was looking for something fairly straightforward today and checked out The OC. I had no problem at all finding a table at the bar on a Sunday night. Admittedly the service was very slow it felt like I waited 10 minutes before someone came over to me. But I was in the opposite of a rush so it was fine. The bar tender was also waiting on me and the bar was fairly busy so it was understandable. The highlight of my meal was definitely the cheese curds. I had to try them at least once while in Wisconsin and they were better than I was expecting and not too heavy. My main course was the blackened chicken pasta and it was fine, the combo of the chicken and the pesto sauce was a bit too salty for my preference. But the pasta was the standout. It's a chill spot to hang out. Their pizzas look good when they passed by. read more

I've never had a bad experience at The OC. The restaurant itself is beautiful, always clean and inviting. The staff has been nothing but kind, professional and attentive. The food and drinks are always delicious! I don't mind a longer wait for the food to come out because I know the effort and detail put in to each plate. Interesting. Was rated quite high, so decided to check it out for business meeting. Staff is all very young and friendly, but tend to disappear for long periods of time! We chose this place as most other restaurants in the area were all fried bar food. The plus, what we ordered wasn't fried. But it wasn't good either. Awesome ambience on the waterfront. Very nice staff, food was tasty! I had Al Limon which had 0 spices in it. So I put some pepper flakes and it satisfied my spice levels. Found the restaurant along our route with great Yelp reviews so we decided to place a reservation online ( through Yelp) and head that way. Restaurant is located among a few different hotels, and on the Fox River. We were greeted kindly when we arrived and seated promptly. We had a great view of the river, the marina, and a man fishing from the dock while we waited for our food. We did enjoy also watching the pelicans play. Our waitress was prompt and provided a great selection of drinks. I chose the watermelon lotus soda. I was told it had natural energy properties so I didn't have to drink a red bull. It tasted like a starburst candy. I ordered the Southwest chicken salad. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. My father had the French dip. All foof came out hot and ready, all food was aesthetically pleasing to the eye and everything wasabsolutely delicious. We are it all. Even the fries. Note: The bowl they chose for my salad was a little wonky. It's design keep the bowl rocking everytime I tried to cut the chicken. Would have preferred a regular round sturdy bowl. Also when you use the bathroom the hand washing stations are outside of the bathroom in an open format area. Different and didn't suck. Found it strange when I dispensed soap it moved the free hanging mirror so my I can only assume with multiple people that would be interesting. Don't know because it was just me. The restroom was clean, one stall was labeled out of ordered but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall the pictures online match the atmosphere. The restaurant is very well designed, decorated and had a larg wine selection. Definitely a nice date night spot. Our three meals and drinks with tip was under $100.00 read more

When we came in there was maybe 6 tables seated, it was pretty slow. We sat down and waited 15 minutes just to get water, and who gave us water wasn't even our server. After about 20-25 minutes we were completely ignored by all staff while everyone around us was getting served. We walked out and will NOT be returning due to such poor service. First time visit with a friend. We chose this restaurant because of the GF options. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Location is picturesque -- right on the river, outdoor seating available but we chose inside and still had a lovely view. Food was good. I had the Power Salad with chicken, and my friend had the blt salad without the tomato. We also tried the desserts -- the GF chocolate torte was like a big piece of chocolate fudge! My lemon raspberry cheesecake was equally delicious. There were very few people there so it was quiet inside. Started with the calamari which was one of the best dishes of calamari I have ever had. The batter was phenomenal with the squid being cooked perfectly. Served with what I believe aoli sauce. The service was quick the bartender took our orders and our food came out very fast granted we showed up when they just opened. I got the Porto Bello Mushroom burger which was so good I have never had the burger version. The OC has some insane art like a life size boat and water plane just hanging around. The OC is beautiful well put together restaurant and easy to get to from either of the hotels around in the area. Little pricey if you like good food don't worry about it. read more
