We had such a lovely experience here. We were visiting on vacation and wanted some seafood that wasn't fried. This was just the place! We sat in the solarium and it had a lovely amount of air conditioning. They have white tablecloths and they installed acoustic tiles on the ceiling to help curb the noise. They really thought of so many things for the guest experience. We both ended up getting the Chilean Sea Bass, it was so tender & flavorful. We also had the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. We enjoyed our experience. We had reservations for a Saturday night. We were seated right away after arrival and were given a great table along the windows as requested. Our server was very friendly. She was attentive and was constantly on the move. Two at the table got NY strip, I got the pasta primavera and the fourth got the halibut. The salad bar that comes with the meals was a nice surprise. It had all salad toppings and also some great cracker spreads. The bread at the table was warm and crusty also. The steaks were great, tender and juicy. My pasta primavera was delicious. I did half marinara and half Alfredo for the sauce- so good. The fourth person liked their fish but did comment it could have used more seasoning. Heard nice things about this place & decided to visit. My son & I had reservations for 6:30, but plans changed & we wound up arriving at 5:45. We explained to teenage hosts that we knew we were early - but since there were several empty tables was is possible to be seated early. We were told we would have to wait for a bit & were given a buzzer. Had a drink at the bar. There were still empty tables - but no effort to seat us. Finally, at 6:20 I went back to the hostess stand & asked why we could not be seated 10 minutes early at an empty table. Was told we would have to wait till 6:30. Threw up our hands, left the buzzer on the bar & left for dinner at another place where customer service was important. I made reservations for 5/16/26 and was a bit hesitant because the time before this my crab legs were over cooked and basically I had to pick slivers of meet out of the shell. Anyways this time I took my cousin who was visiting from out of town and thought maybe things got better but nope horrible again. my wife's steak was tough and my lobster tails were dry. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just ate and left. Well after a $188.00 bill and there was no drinks involved I Will NEVER return and will definitely steer people away from this place. It's hard to find a restaurant that checks every box, but this one definitely does! 10/10 food, service, ambiance, and price. Broasted chicken and beef stroganoff were delicious. Dinner rolls with house whipped butter were perfect. Salad bar was clean and fully stocked, with so many fresh options to choose from. The all-window dining room is gorgeous with a stunning view of the river. Our server was friendly and bonus points for everyone wearing Packers gear! Honestly I think this is the best place in Green Bay for steak. It is so expensive but so darn good! Worth the extra money! The place was situated on a river. With a spectacular view. From the minute we arrived the service was incredible. They were there for our every need. We ordered drinks and our meal. They have a salad bar you grab a salad at after ordering. I don't love salad bars because of germs but this one was extra clean. I ordered the sea scallops and my partner had the top sirloin. Both were to die for... my partner commented the scallops were best he has ever had. I really wanted the pink squirrel for dessert but I was so full and couldn't bring my self to have another thing... total bummer because they even draw a squirrel with chocolate in the top of the drink... so cool! The only thing better was the table full of male motorcycle dude in all leather. They had ridden over 2000 miles and stopped for dinner. The conversations coming from their table were not what you would expect. They were talking about buying mattresses and what the best kind was and why they like it and how they make there beds...it was cute to say the least! read more

Visited this supper club on a recent visit to the Green Bay area. Reservations were made ahead of time for a party of 9 at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. We arrived a bit early and were directed to the bar for a short wait. While there we had cocktails and found them to be quite reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants in the Milwaukee area. This is a large venue with multiple seating areas, including areas overlooking the nearby river. At the time of our visit I would estimate the restaurant was 50-70% filled. Tables were nicely appointed with linen table cloths and napkins. Once seated our waitress quickly brought water and rolls, and asked if we had any questions, a good idea because a large number of items on the menu were not priced, but stated only that pricing was market value. A bit irritating but understandable in today's economy. Orders were taken quickly and varied, several orders of prime rib, several for filet mignon, a rib dinner, a chicken diner and a beef stroganoff diner. We were then invited to the salad bar, very basic but fresh and plentiful. There was quite a delay between the time the orders were taken and when they were served, but all meals were fresh, hot and as ordered. Everyone appeared to have enjoyed their meal, a few taking leftovers home with them. I had the beef stroganoff dinner, while a generous portion served over perfectly cooked noodles, the stroganoff was over seasoned with salt. As flavorful as it was, the saltiness left me thirsty for the rest of the evening. Service was attentive and friendly, water and cocktails were refilled as needed. Our waitress was very accommodating when it came time to pay for our meals, creating individual bills for each of us. Not something a lot of restaurants will do. There was a 20% tip applied to each bill but that's pretty common for large groups. Tip included my bill was about $48. Overall a pleasant evening and a restaurant I would recommend if you're in the area. read more

River's Bend was an incredible dining experience from start to finish! We visited in Saturday night, without a reservation about 7:45 pm. There were a couple open parking spots by the door and we were greeted at the Hostess Stand as soon as we entered the restaurant. We were told a 30 minute wait and we were thrilled to find a few open seats at the spacious bar. Again, we were greeted by a couple bartenders right away and we felt at home. A couple whiskey old fashioneds while we waited for our table. We had the best time at the bar. Before long, our table was ready. We were seated along the row of windows overlooking the river. Our orders were taken promptly and we were off to the salad bar. Everything was delicious! Entrees came as soon as we had finished our salads. Beef stroganoff was delicious and the filet mignon melted in my mouth. The herbed garlic butter on my steak was amazing! Just as delicious reheated at home! After dinner, we were off to the bar. Steve was an amazing bartender, splitting our ice cream drinks so we could sample both the grasshopper and the pink squirrel! Service & salad bar were top aces , but my ribeye was messed up twice . Im not picky & have eaten ribeye at Rivers Bend countless times to know what to expect. I ordered my ribeye medium rare & it was served well to near well done. Our waitress who was awesome could not believe how far from medium rare my steak was . She promptly ordered up another & as my table guests ate , I waited. The next ribeye was almost raw , but due to time restrictions for our evening I told the waitress it was fine. I eat ribeye at Mark's Eastside , Schwartz's , 5 O'Clock & Rivers Bend as these are my favorite Wisconsin places to get a ribeye. All these places serve a steak with a dark sear char & pink middles to perfection, but the two ribeye steaks I just had at Rivers Bend had a light tan color that is a telltale sign of low temp cooking. All steak no matter the level of " doneness " should appear the same on the outside.... Seared with a great crust & it's the finish that establishes rare to well done. My two ribeyes were cooked in a very strange manner & didn't resemble any ribeye Ive ever eaten at Rivers Bend I was extremely let down & probably won't be returning. Those two steaks looked like a 12 yr old kid cooked them on low heat for way to long , then way to short .... A 60 dollar steak should be cooked to perfection ? Very let down ... Ive been dining at Rivers Bend since the early 90s & have had well over 100 ribeyes from there , but never had I seen a steak appear ( twice ) a light tan color ???? New cook , fluke or just didn't care they were horrible... I did not make a scene & I was given half off on my steak which was a kind gesture. Yet back to back mess ups on a ribeye is unacceptable when you consider the bill for four of us with a tip would have been 250 dollars plus 45 dollars at the bar plus tips Thats 75 dollars a person & my two steaks looked like a vegan rookie cooked them . Back to Mark's Eastside & thank you to Rivers Bend for all the good times , but there is something wrong going on there . read more

This is our favorite supper club in the area - and our go-to spot to take out-of-towners that are in the mood for a steak, seafood, and/or supper club! Ambiance. The restaurant is stationed along the river bend (duh!), so if you go during the warm months, you'll get to enjoy the water views! The bar is HUGE! Plenty of space to get there early, grab a seat at their huge, wrap around bar, and sit on some tasty drinks. My favorite, like any true Wisconsinite, is a brandy Old Fashioned. And they do a nice job at making them! Lots of staff working the bar, and plenty of TVs, if you want to catch a game while you wait. The dining area is huge - lots of seating. Call ahead and make a reservation in the room overlooking the river! Service. We have already have such friendly service - from waiters or bartenders! Food. You can't go wrong. Filets are great, walleye, shrimp, French onion soup, etc. Haven't had a bad meal here yet! They also have an ok salad bar. I've been coming here for a number of years. I've tried many of the menu items ranging from ribeye to crab legs to walleye and many more. From the app menu, I've tried the tuna, spinach dip, and crab cakes. I visited again just last night for my mother-law's birthday. In the plethora of these visits, I've never had a bad experience with the food or service. I have never seen wait-staff just standing around doing nothing. They're running around satisfying food/drink orders, special requests, and in rare instances, customer complaints. In my experience, all are working very hard to keep up. I would put this place up against any place in the whole of the Fox Valley. This includes Republic Chophouse. The place is packed practically every open day of the week for a reason. You don't get seated on time for a reason. YOUR seats are still busy with prior customers who have yet to leave. With volatile food prices, especially beef or seafood, it makes it very difficult to print updated menus so frequently. All one needs to do is simply ask the server what the current market price is for your item of interest. Speak up! If you have an issue with your entree, speak up! Don't go and slam an awesome business as a keyboard warrior without having done your own due diligence. It gets busy. Mistakes happen. The place is run by humans, so flaws, unfortunately, make their way out into the dining room. In conclusion, this is my favorite place to bring my family or friends when I want to offer an outstanding dining experience. Was here with my husband. Son and DIL recently. We all loved the salad bar. Atmosphere is great. My husband and i both had filets which were done perfectly and just delicious. My son got Walleye which he liked. My DIL ordered shrimp and was very disappointed. It was very bland and not very good. I agree after tasting it. Since this was a special dinner to honor their anniversary and they were visiting from Florida we were disappointed she didnt enjoy her meal. read more
