I've ordered to go from this Longhorns twice for my family on nights we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice dinner but didn't feel like going out. I've never actually dined in at this location and have only ever had the 2 to go orders. Menu and the pictures look amazing and appetizing, but the actual food could use some work. We've ordered different burgers and steaks and we generally order medium rare, but I feel their meat is always overcooked and not juicy whatsoever. Their steak is far from medium rare and closer to well done if anything, and it doesn't even look good (they look small and charred) so before cutting into it, I already knew it wasn't going to be good. We had to dunk our steaks in steak sauce that we had at home to even eat it. Not to mention, the steaks are quite pricey for how small and terribly cooked they are. Although the burgers come out more cooked than we'd like, I will admit the burgers are still good. But maybe it's because we order them medium rare that they still turn out good/juicy. I couldn't imagine if we ordered well done burgers. Now where they do excel are their sides. Portions are plentiful and the sides are cooked well with plenty of flavor. I love their baked potatoes (although they could be a little more generous on the toppings with how big their potatoes are). We've had their baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, soups, fries, broccoli, and Mac and cheese. We enjoyed them all. If I were to dine at Longhorns in the future, I would just stick to their burgers and their sides. They definitely are way too pricey for their other dishes and they do not do well at cooking those. But if you're just looking for a good burger, Longhorns will do. read more

I go to Longhorn's every other week with my family. I don't need a menu because we get the same thing every time. Longhorn's is our "family time." For some reason, we went to this location for a "change in scenery" and I regret that we did. We were sat immediately but passed a dozen dirty tables on the way there, there's something unsettling about seeing so many empty tables full of dirty dishes while you're on your way to a seat that is just so unappetizing. Our server came and collected our drink and appetizer orders. The drinks took awhile to come, but that could've been the bartenders fault. I do wish we got some waters or something while we waited. The appetizer came and it was like something we had never seen before. Very messy and just haphazardly placed on the plates. Even the plate ware was wrong. And i know because i am always at Longhorn's! We picked at it while we waited on our meals. The entrees were fine, but as the server didn't take away any plates from our appetizers or bread, we didn't have any room to really lay our food out and enjoy it the way we usually do. My wife and I went to Longhorn in Newnan, GA. Walked in. No one was at the greeter station. Although the bartender did say that he'd be back shortly. Greeted promptly upon their return. Very nice and courteous. We sat down. Our server Ayn W. came over. We placed our order. Our food came out. Looked delicious. My wife ordered the Salmon lunch special with a side of grilled corn on the cob. I ordered the Pork chop lunch special with broccoli and a side salad. Both dishes were delicious. We celebrated our 50th anniversary...the merlot was just fine; however, the ribeye steak looked very odd. It wasn't seared (like you see on the menu) and looked blanche (almost like it was steamed). I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. I don't send food back, and made the best of the meal. The strawberry pecan salad was the best part of that meal. The loaded baked potato was so-so. it was partially 'loaded'...no bacon bits. We've dined at this Longhorn several times and this was our worst experience. I did take a survey, but never heard word. So, I decided to place this on Yelp. One last thing, the staff was great and service check was done throughout the meal, but again, I will not send food back! read more

Friday night at 6pm , the place was half empty and fully staffed . We seated right away . We orders right away , the wine took way longer than normal , but that was alright , I'm easy going . We ordered the waiter was nice , but this was not the job for him or maybe new ? A big part of waiting tables is refilling water (wasn't done ) and clearing plates (wasn't done). The food -yikes ! The steak I ordered medium was like a hockey puck . The chicken in the salad was undercooked and pink . Sooo where's is the waiter to tell him this ? No where to be found . I ate around the steak and we had to leave most of the chicken off to the side per being undercooked. Plates piled up on the table paid with the bar code and left . This was the best Longhorn Steakhouse. The waitress was attentive to me and the kid. I ordered the ribeye and the kid ordered a kid sirloin. The ribeye was slightly under cooked at medium rare - my preference. It was seasoned perfectly and a nice marbling. The steakhouse macaroni (omitted bacon) was nice and creamy and cheesy! The kid liked her sirloin (cooked correctly) - medium and mashed potatoes. The waitress keep our drinks filled and brought extra bread for home. Overall a unexpected perfect experience at a chain restaurant. My only only small complaint was the salad - I could tell it sat in the cooler a little longer than my preference. I had a very unsettling experience at this restaurant tonight. When my meal was brought out, I noticed a maggot on my broccoli. I immediately brought it to my server's attention, who was absolutely wonderful. She made the manager, Ayn Wadlington aware of the issue and even showed the broccoli and maggot to her. However when the server returned to the table she said the manager claimed it to be "just a piece of broccoli". That didn't sit well with me, so I asked to speak to the manager myself. When the manager came to the table, I was shocked by her unprofessional appearance and even more appalled by her attitude. She immediately became defensive and continued with her claim of the foreign object being broccoli. Thankfully I took a picture of it before the server took it away and showed her the photo and compared it to a photo of maggots from a simple google search. Ayn was very dismissive and showed no concern, empathy, or accountability. When I asked her for her name she responded with attitude and said she did not have a card and she's "just a visiting manager". She offered to replace the meal and I quickly declined. I became nauseous and was ready to leave. It's unfortunate that the manager, Ayn handled this in such an unprofessional manner. The issue wasn't just the maggot but the complete lack of concern and professionalism in the way it was addressed. I will be reaching out to the district manager and whomever else regarding this matter. The way the "visiting" manager handled this tonight is a terrible representation of this company. read more

What an amazing meal! This was our first time having the Firecracker Chicken Wraps and they were excellent. The sauce is really good and it wasn't too spicy. It felt more like a taquito, but regardless of what it's called it was great! The Redrock grilled shrimp was also very good. I haven't tried this before, but I really liked the sauce that came on it. I really didn't need the garlic butter -- it stands on its own. THE cheesecake was very creamy. I really liked the candied pecans on the side -- quite a nice touch! Our service was excellent. Tia our server was FANTASTIC!! Let's start there! Went for dinner with a friend. We put our name on the waitlist ahead of arriving and while that might have saved some time, we still had to wait a half hour to get seated. Friday night ‍ Tia came right over with bread and told us she'd be right back to take our drink orders. We started with an old fashioned for me and lemonade for my companion. We had the fried shrimp & stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. They came out in a few minutes. Shrimp golden brown, hot & delicious. The mushrooms were cheesy and gooey. Delicious! For entrees we had the cowboy ribeye with Ceaser salad and sweet potato and the grilled salmon with rice, mashed potatoes and a side of Brussel sprouts. Steak was cooked to perfect temp. Salmon was still moist. Tia checked on us often. She was friendly, congenial and her energy was infectious! Totally made our night!! Need more staff like her!! The only thing good here was the pleasant wait staff and hostess. That's the star. The food was not edible. Everything was salted so heavily that even my teenagers couldn't eat it. And they eat everything. This was true of all the dishes we had at my table from steak to shrimp to pork and chicken. Would have been better not to season at all. You don't have to force things to taste good. Just cook it. The sweet tea was too sweet as well. And that's coming from my southern wife who loves really sweet tea. My family has visited this restaurant on both Mother's and Father's Day for years for an early dinner (it's halfway between our individual homes). It looks like your standard-fare Longhorns, but this restaurant is a well-oiled machine. We come year after year because of its high quality service (especially on holidays when families tend to eat out). We call to get on the waitlist when we are 30 minutes away, and the host always provides good estimates of wait time. I have lived in Newnan for 10 plus years and this is the first time I have tried Longhorn and now I know why. This was a disappointment. When I entered the restaurant I was not greeted. I noticed that the garbage behind the hostess counter was overflowing. I also noticed that the staff at the bar did not wipe down the counter even after we sat. The napkins were dirty. Well, I like Longhorns, usually. This day was different. When you dine by yourself you don't get the same attention as a party of 10. I was seated promptly as it was 4:30 on Sunday afternoon-before the dinner crowd arrived. I received my drink order and customary loaf of bread and butter. Then they seated a party of ten and it was a game changer. I ordered my salad with no cucumbers and it arrived with cucumbers and no croutons . The server never came back. When my dinner arrived I sent it back and asked for the salad I had ordered and the "food runner" happily complied (she should get the tip, which I ended up handing her as I walked out the door). The server brought the correct salad and apologized I asked that they do not reheat my dinner but make a new one - stay tuned.. I'm still waiting. I guess I gave them an impossible task. I'd like to order another glass of wine to finally drink when my dinner arrives, but I'm not sure it will come in time. Small details make big impacts on people's mind sets. It can ruin an expensive dinner. BUT ... my dinner arrived hot, correct and delightfully delicious. Thank you for fixing what could have been a dismal review. And my server was very apologetic. We ordered a glass of wine and then decided to share a meal, because this was a late dinner. We decided on a shaved prime rib sandwich, the prime rib was topped with onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on French bread, with french fries on the side. Splitting this was good because it was a good size sandwich and plenty of french fries. We saved room for dessert we tried the caramel apple turnover with vanilla ice cream, which was warm and sweet. After having a great time in a nearby event, my family and I went to the Newnan location on Sunday. We were in such a good mood only to come here and be humiliated. We had an awful experience and i DO NOT recommend it all. This warning is especially for people of color. We waited approx 30 mins to be seated. The wait wasn't the issue. There were 7 of us. A larger party that came in after us were seated before us. I didn't want to assume the worst, so being optimistic we patiently waited. When we were notified that our table was ready, the host escorted us to the table. We walked past many open seating to the table the host selected for us. The waitress said that she was not going to serve this party and she didn't know who he (the host) was going to get to service us. In addition to her refusing to serve us, they tried to seat us in a small booth, which looked like it was intended for 5 people and the table was not clean. We were appalled at their blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism. We were ready to leave because we aren't going to beg an establishment to allow us to patron them. As we were leaving, we expressed that we were going to leave a review. In the most snarkiest voice, the host said he looked forward to reading it. These people were just flat out rude. After my family and I had a great time, we decided to come to long horns. when I tried to check in I said 6 people he said it was a 15 minute wait. I miscounted and asked could we do 7 instead he said 30 minutes. we waited and when we sat down one worker said I don't do parties who's serving them because I'm not. I told her before I sat down if she didn't want to serve us she didn't have to. they put 7 people in a 5 people booth with ac blasting above us. after I told my family they said we were leaving then the waiters made snarky remarks. we told them we were leaving a review they they proceeded to tell us they can't wait until they read it. we started to walk out and they were rude and distasteful. we are black and they were white so we can definitely say they were being racist. Also while we waited 30 minutes they let all groups of white people go back to. If you want to enjoy a night after a family gathering this is not the place!! choose another location. read more
