We love this Longhorn location. The crew is always so friendly and welcoming. I'm a big fan of steaks, and no matter what cut of steak I order here. It's always perfectly cooked and beautifully plated today with no different. The price of beef is super crazy so I'm not buying it for my freezer, but every once in a while, I love to just stop at the longhorn and get myself a steak Such a cute decor in this location. Longhorn is a place that I visit so infrequently that I don't remember why it has been so long, and then I go and remember why. The French onion soup didn't have a good flavor to it unfortunately and my chicken sandwich had a weird taste to it and was a bit overcooked. The Wild West shrimp is the only thing I can count on when I come here personally. That being said my opinion is somewhat skewed as I don't typically order steak when I'm here. Had a great experience tonight at Longhorn. I haven't been to one of these restaurants in years but I sat at the bar tonight and was actually very impressed. The food was hot and portion sizes were generous. I thought the overall quality and price of the food was good. Was it the most tender steak of my life? No. But the flavor was good and quality for the price was on par. We ordered peach tea and a mango margarita to start. The Parmesan spinach dip as our app. I had the steak salad and tried both the house made ranch and white balsamic dressings. Both delicious just depends on what you're in the mood for. I'm a sucker for Longhorn Steakhouse, I really am. Compared to most chains like this, this place reigns supreme in both quality and taste. I ended up coming here on Sunday for lunch and left both full, happy, and just a little fatter then I already am. The place was busy, but not packed when we arrived and we were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and quick the entire time we were here as well, especially when it came to bringing the goods. We ended up starting off with some spicy chicken bites and the Texas onion (I'm not including the bread here, we all get the bread). I picked the Longhorn for my main course, a 22oz porterhouse that is packed with flavour and juicy deliciousness with a side of street corn. Did I like my food? Well now. Bread- Hey, the bread is really good and deserves it's own thumbs up. Spicy Chicken Bites- I absolutely love the little spicy chicken bites that this place serves up. I can't explain it but they pack a unique punch that is the perfect way to start off a meal. Texas Onion- I really liked the Texas onion bites, way more then I was expecting. They are basically little onion petals packed full of crunchy flavour. Street Corn- The perfect corn on the cob! It was hot, flavourful, and whatever was on top of it made me want to dance in little circles. The Longhorn- This was a fantastic steak compared to other similar restaurants. I ordered mine rare and they did it just the way I wanted. I was so full by the time I got my steak that I was only able to consume half of it. Our waitress was a doll and took great care of us, including bringing out sundaes at the end of the meal. Most of the people at the table enjoyed their food, but I was a little disappointed. Our waitress was kind and brought over a gluten free menu for me, which I appreciated. That's one thing I really like about chains: they usually have gluten free options. I decided to order a lunch special, which was soup with salad. The salad was not good. The lettuce was wilted and the strawberries in it weren't fresh. I did like the candied pecans in it, however. The soup was good, though! I opted for the seafood chowder, which really tasted yummy and hit the spot. Since I'm dieting, that's all I had apart from my husband's french fries. These were oversalted and tasteless otherwise. I didn't have too many. Overall, this business is nice enough. The waitstaff is friendly and the ambience is good. I love the longhorn steakhouse, it does not taste like a chain restaurant. Flows fillet with Parmesan encrusted add-on is absolutely the best. A convenient stop for Lunch this past Monday. I was leaning toward a 3 star review, but the server was so friendly and I always liked the decor and atmosphere of this place. Lunch specials range from $8-$11 . My father opted for the potato soup and steak salad combo and I got a steak sandwich with a side order of fries. My father enjoyed his selections - very generous portions and the steak was nice and juicy. My steak sandwich, on the other hand, was just a thin piece of meat that was quite fatty. I know for the price I shouldn't be expecting much , but I would have much rather have had a 1/2 sandwich with a better cut of meat (like what is served on the salad). This is a corporate restaurant, however, so I know the cooks just prepare what they are supposed to. The peach tea was delicious without being too sweet. And our server was upbeat and a sweetheart, she was just happy to be working during these tough times. The flo's filet mignon (sometimes with Parmesan crust, depending on the side I get), macaroni and cheese, the strawberry salad, and a tall blue moon. That right there is my favorite meal. This was my second try at this location and it exceeded my expectations. We have tried Longhorns in Rochester - it was outstanding. This was before they came to Buffalo. Cheektowaga needs to get on board from management to servers to cooks. Will never go back to Cheektowaga, but if you do live in WNY Orchard park is the location to go to. We had a front row parking spot and then were seated immediately so we knew this was going to be good. Our server David was very patient as it took us awhile to decide what to eat. But we took advantage of the whole menu. We ordered a southern mule and Montana mule for drinks. They were just what we needed on a hot day! We then ordered crab appetizer bread crab balls with a cream sauce. They were just enough to hold us over. We also received free warm freshly made bread. And once we were done received our soup and salad. The tomato basil soup tasted homemade it was so good. My husband ordered the a full rack of ribs. He knew from the moment he pulled the first rib that they were to die for. So tender and sauce was perfect not too spicy yet not bland. My Flo's filet was perfect med well just enough pink. This place knows how to cook their steak and ribs. Dessert was Brown Sugar peach cobbler was enough to share after a wonderful meal. It included ice cream and raspberry dizzle. Longhorn has a huge menu but oddly doesn't include basic comforts like a cup of coffee...it's a dirty (unclean) sit down fast food/diner posing as somewhat fine dining. If someone in management would schedule regular cleaning and ongoing deep cleaning, it would be more enjoyable. The disregard for hygiene unfortunately seems universal & extends from the restrooms, the light fixtures, carpets, to the actual dining tables, silver/drink ware, etc. My elderly friends enjoy the chicken nugget meal. The best part of this restaurant is the warm loaf of bread that arrives before the meal...if you'd like a second loaf they will serve as a courtesy. read more

The wait staff and hostess were good but it appears no one is trying to hard at this place. Dirty knives in the napkins, I mean someone had to wrap them, how do you not notice how dirty one of them knives was? Bread plates were dirty as well. The men's room was gross, definitely not a "missed 1 day of cleaning gross" I can overlook some stuff if the food makes up for it but the food made us all feel a little sick, headache and uneasy. Gonna have to try a different location to see if it is just this location. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews but someone needs to see this and step up to the plate. I hate Longhorn. I have never had a good experience. The food is consistently bad, take out is even worse. The only reason I even attempted them again is because of a $20 gift certificate from the last time they screwed up my order. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger, I added photos. That isn't cheese. I'm not really sure what they put on her burger, but it's gross and hard. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken and I received everyone else's leftovers. It takes 3 broken up pieces of chicken to make 9 ounces? (I also work in culinary, which explains why I'm so critical, but I know what a basic chicken breast looks like). And the final straw- some poor guy named Adam isn't receiving his soup tonight, they put it in my bag. I don't eat any seafood so that poor lobster chowder was tossed. We went to this location for the first time in several years. Our last visit was terrible, this was better. The greeter and our server were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. After reviewing the menu, we ordered our appetizer and entrees. The bread and butter arrived with our beverages and looked wonderful with "looked" being the operative word. It was almost tasteless and was still gummy inside. Apparently it had not been baked completely. Our appetizer, the "Texas Tonion" arrived at the right temperature and was delicious. The sauce that was provided with it was spicy and very tasty. The drizzle on the dish was their "crema" which was tasteless and a total waste. Our entrees were the "Renegade Sirloin* & Redrock Grilled Shrimp." We both ordered our steaks medium well and they arrived as requested. Both were flavorful but mine was slightly dry. My wife's side dish was asparagus which was listed in the menu as fresh steamed but it was obviously grilled as was oily and mushy. The 8 shrimp were very flavorful and of a good size but very oily. The oil soaked the rice which was underneath, ruining the taste. The portions are generous and we ended up taking some of it home with us. Dish presentation is good and very inviting. Our server knew when to check on us and when to let us enjoy our meal. As I said, this location has improved since our last visit. What I got spicy chicken bites with shrimp on it. I'm happen to slightly has intolerance with shrimp. It gives me itch and tingling feeling and slight puffiness on my lip. The chicken bites was breaded with sauce. We were surprised that they put shrimp on it. We looked on the menu and we saw shrimp bites. But still how they prepared this and have them mixed up???
