This review is about our Fat Bob's pickup Thanksgiving dinner, the one we opted for is called "The Dinner." It includes sliced smoked turkey breast, and we chose cornbread stuffing, Cajun corn and mashed potatoes for our sides, plus it comes with a choice of apple or pumpkin pie. It also includes gravy and cranberry sauce...all for $130 (for Thanksgiving 2025), including tax. They say it serves up to four people, but it's a generous amount. Everything was absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly. You pick it up cold the day before Thanksgiving and it includes reheating instructions. This is the second year in a row that we've opted to buy Thanksgiving dinner because there's only two of us (not including our devil baby dog) and it can get overwhelming to make everything myself. We were so impressed by our 2024 order that it was easy to opt for them again. What cinched the deal for me is that they were able to keep the base price the same as last year, that's practically unheard of these days. We plan on making it a yearly tradition. I have been wanting to eat at Fat Bob's for a while now ... but with its distance from my house, it took me a while to get there; but I finally made it! The parking situation isn't the best at the front entrance so we parked on the street behind it and went in through the back door. There, we found outdoor seating with heating that was nice. But we did not eat outside. We went inside, past the bar you can sit at, and had the hostess seat us at a table. It was a Sunday, and the Sunday special was fried chicken. I wish I had went with my gut and ordered this ... but I wanted something different to put the BBQ sauce on ... so I ordered the nachos with pulled pork on it. My friend ordered the chicken tenders with baked beans. My nachos were good and plentiful! I couldn't even finish them. What surprised me, is that I tried all 4 table-side BBQ sauces and didn't care for any of them. This has never happened to me and is the reason I wish I had ordered the fried chicken. That being said, I want to make it clear: nothing was "wrong" with the sauces. This wasn't a quality issue at all. Taste is subjective and it just wasn't for me so don't be discouraged and try for yourself! They have original, Memphis, Kansas City, and Carolina. My friends chicken tenders were awesome! HUGE in size and you could tell they were fresh and hand breaded. Juicy too. I tried half of one and I agreed they were great! Our waitress was very kind. There is a cool BBQ chef pig to take a picture with if you want, and I would definitely come again on a Sunday to try the fried chicken, and FYI, Fridays special is Bob's fish fry (beer battered haddock). read more

That threw my plans out the window, so instead I got the bbq pork nachos, the bbq bacon burger, and a bowl of Memphis Mac n cheese, and Texas twinkies! Every one of my items was delicious. Texas twinkies were amazing. The bbq bacon burger was cooked to perfection and I loved it. The Memphis Mac was a large portion that is a meal on its own. The pork, coleslaw, Mac n cheese blended beautifully together with the bbq sauce. A waiter was great. He was very attentive and made sure our glasses never ran out l. We never had to ask for a refill. Place was busy. I love seeing restaurants busy because that means food is coming out hot and fresh and it's a good place to be! Tables were a bit tight, not leaving very much room, but we were all comfortable still. That's exactly what I had here at Fat Bob's and let me tell you: It's delicious. I went in on a slow afternoon right after they opened for the day so there weren't many other people there. Took a seat at the bar and decided it was time for a nice, filling lunch. I was going back and forth between this and the pulled pork but decided on the brisket, and I am glad I did. The brisket was the perfect amount of tender. With the addition of some of their BBQ sauce, it created such a good complimentary flavor with everything on the plate. I think I basically inhaled the sandwich with how good it was but still tried to take some time to really savor it. The bar and seating areas were all very clean and picked up. The staff was phenomenal and really took care of the people in there. I used to go here a lot for their mac and cheese but now, I have to go try to eat the menu again I think. I'm from out of town and am in Buffalo for work. My hotel suggested Fat Bobs for a late night bite so I went and sat at the bar. I was there right before they closed. The bartender was Halie (sorry if I mis spelled) I mentioned I've never been to fat bobs and she suggested I try the happy hour nacho. Honestly. They were incredible and I'm a nacho fan already but these we great. The corn, the bbq, the sauces. It was unique and delish. Fast forward I'm still here and have a few more days and decided to pop back in. Sat at the bar and had Halie again. Said I was thinking a sandwich. She suggested the pulled pork with jalapeños and the Mac and cheese. She said she loves the Carolina bbq and she was right. Again it was all incredible. The Mac and cheese is elevated but gives you what you want and the pulled pork was super tender. The bun is toasted which already says they be trying to do it right. I also ordered a cup of the gumbo which I loved. I wanted to say it was a truly delish spot and Halie was incredibly helpful and I would recommend it to anyone. Right upon entrance, the host was friendly and sat us right down. We went for lunch- around noon- and it wasn't too busy, which was perfect! The atmosphere was so cozy and friendly! When we sat down, the server was prompt to get in our drinks and gave us time to look at the menu. The menu isn't too long or too short. We ordered the Brisket and Ribs combo with a side of Mac and cheese and onion rings, as well as pulled pork from "The Pit" with a side of sweet potato fries and their BBQ beans. For two people, this was more than enough. We have leftovers for tomorrow! Our favorite out of all of this were the ribs! I can't begin to describe how juicy and well seasoned they were. It was a crazy snowy day that we went to US for some work done. Fat Bob was attracted to us by the Fat Pig sculpture in the store. It was not a busy hour that we walked in. In this kind of snow day, we could still see some groups of friends gethering. We had a small table to have a seat, the server came over and nicely to ask if we need more time, she spoke pretty fast tho. We finally decided to have 1 from special and 1 from regular menu: Southern Fried Po'Boy and St. Louis Pork Rib Third sized. And the special have 1 side and the regular has 2 sides. The portion of each one was good enough for us, but the server at the beginning suggested to have half of the Rib, that would have ordered too much. The different flavours of BBQ sauce were always on the side that you could choose and add. I like them all that put a lot of them together. After checkin on Yelp, we got 15% off coupon for food discount. Thanks for powerful Yelp that we saved some money in US.
