Loud county music, bustling tables, lineup out the door, waiters carrying huge serving platters over their hands. It's crazy in there. Anyway the food was awesome. They fill you up on free buckets of peanuts and amazing handmade bread with cinnamon butter. Just delicious. The mains were all outstanding including the salmon and steak we ordered which was perfectly cooked. The salad dressings are made in house and my Italian was excellent. My husband loved his Ceasar. Literally every item was a solid 10/10. Debbie , our waitress, was just a doll. Efficient and super duper friendly. Second visit to Texas Roadhouse, & our group had a wonderful time! We shared a few appetizers;the famous blooming onion, shrimp, breaded dill pickles. I had the chicken critters, breaded chicken , very tender, seasoned rice, & a delicious house salad. Consistent! Went in on a Friday to be disappointed that the Early Dine isn't active on Friday's. However, the service and food hit the spot. Don't get me wrong--this isn't a five-star steakhouse where you're paying $100 for a steak. Instead, it's a chain where you can get a decent cut of steak, solid service, and very reasonable prices. If you go at certain times, they offer great deals--though we always seem to miss them. I've had a few steaks here, and they're consistently on point. With recent inflation, I've noticed their prices have gone up like most places, but the portion sizes have shrunk a bit. Service was quick as we didn't have a reservation and we had 8 people in our party. We received rolls and butter right away and had pretty quick service. There was a couple times that drinks and refilling of drinks was very slow and didn't come around to ask if we needed more. The location was nice with lots of tv s and decor to look at. It was my mom's birthday and the server asked her before announcing to everyone that it was her birthday. They did not give any dessert or treat for her birthday but just a shout out to everyone in the restaurant . Kids enjoyed their food and adults did too other than they nickel and dime you on everything when it comes to adding toppings to either your potato or steak. Seems as if this location prefers you to make reservations. We don't have one, they weren't busy. We were ushered in front of the window where bread is lined up for the servers. We had to keep moving because servers were trying to get to the bread. Poor execution and poor decision on where to have people stand to wait for a table. We were only there for a minute or two before being taken to a table. This same scenario happened to the couple behind us. Seems as if a small change could fix this. Our server was friendly, very helpful on answering all our questions. We were short on time as we had a flight out of town. The server was able to get our order taken and the food came out very quickly. Overall we would come back again, food and service are really good. Absolutely HORRIBLE service, we were there tonight for our anniversary dinner. We got there around 7:50, waited 45 mins after being told 20 to 30 min wait, then seated in the tented area and it was like we were forgotten, we ordered and waited for an extra 40 mins for our steaks while staff cleaned up and yelled at each other passed us. The one guy swept the entire tented room, then used dirty broom to CLEAN OFF THE TABLE behind us, a coworker saw him even said that's gross and never bothered to clean it up properly in front of us. While traveling on business with two colleagues, we visited Texas Roadhouse in Cheektowaga after receiving complimentary appetizer coupons from the Residence Inn where we were staying. Based on a recommendation at the table, we ordered the fried pickles and were enjoying both the food and conversation. Partway through the meal, our waiter--who was professional and courteous throughout--returned to inform us that the coupon had expired and could not be accepted. We asked if, given that we were business travelers and the appetizer was only about $6, a current coupon could be honored instead. Our waiter kindly offered to check with management. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed was disappointing. A manager named Julie came to the table visibly irritated and stated, "The coupon is expired and we just can't give you a new coupon," adding that the hotel should not have distributed expired coupons. The tone and approach felt unnecessarily dismissive and created an uncomfortable experience for our group. As frequent business travelers, we collectively agreed this was among the poorest customer-service interactions we have experienced in years. Compounding the situation, when we later requested three separate checks--standard for business travelers using individual expense accounts--we were told the bill could only be split in half, which added further frustration. A short time later, another staff member stopped by, listened to our concerns, and apologized. Soon after, the Manager on Duty came to our table, addressed the situation professionally, and resolved the issue, which we appreciated. While our waiter and several team members handled the situation well, the earlier interaction significantly impacted our overall experience. Because we travel to the area regularly, service experiences strongly influence where we choose to dine. Unfortunately, we will not be returning and will also be sharing this feedback with the hotel and fellow travelers who frequently visit the Cheektowaga area. read more

I want to blame hunger and how good it looked for that. The decor and theme inside is all country. If you like country music, this is the spot for you. I did like that you are able to pick out your own steak here too. Our server, Christina was AMAZING. She was so friendly and nice. She really made the dinner pleasant and we never needed anything. On to the food. The rolls were the best rolls I've ever had. The butter was incredible. We ordered some fried pickles for an appetizer and each got a salad with our meal. They have a good selection of drinks and cocktails here too. I got the ribeye with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. It was delicious. They cooked it perfectly and it was surprisingly good for what I was expecting. I couldn't even eat everything so we have plenty of leftovers. Overall, I had a good experience here. It's rare to frequent a restaurant because they do the right things right over and over. Good food, solid service, excellent value for your meal every time, at least for us. To me this sums up this Texas Roadhouse. We tend to go early in the afternoon, so no waiting and the place is pretty quiet. Later the noise of conversation, etc. drones on your senses. Our waiter, Nick, was just super, always checking on us, making sure the timing of our meal coincided with our appetizer and salad being finished first. Super smart to do that!! Food was great, steak for my wife, fish and chips for myself. The fish and chips were three lightly (perfect) breaded super fresh pieces. Awesome! Our main disappointment was the steaks. It seems like they have gone downhill a bit. My husband got a 20oz bone in ribeye and I opted for the 12oz standard strip steak. If I could come here and just eat these all day, it would be an endless amount of 5 stars. The rest of the food is eh. If you are looking for a cheap steak, then it's fine. They do cook it well! And if you are someone who likes rare steak but always have to send it back because they didn't cook it properly, I wouldn't worry about that here. I do recommend paying the extra money to get your steak loaded with onions and mushrooms and cheese. It does bring them to the next level! But prepare for it because they are pretty salty. Absolutely would not recommend the "roadkill" entree. It's not steak, it's more like ground beef. They do have alot of side options. Though I didn't see Mac and cheese? And that makes me sad.
