7oz. LongHorn Salmon with 8ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp. I asked for it blackened and it was perfection!
    Anita C.

I stopped by LongHorn Steakhouse to pick up dinner to go and overall had a really solid experience. I ordered the spinach dip, blackened salmon with shrimp, rice, broccoli, a sweet potato, and cheesecake for dessert. A couple of items needed to be reheated once I got home, mainly the spinach dip and the salmon, but once warmed up everything held up really well. The spinach dip is easily one of my favorites from any restaurant. It's always a go-to for me. The chips, especially when fresh, are crisp and pair perfectly with it. The blackened salmon and shrimp were both really enjoyable. The salmon was well seasoned and cooked just right, and the shrimp were also cooked well and had a nice seasoning on them. The portion size was more than enough and very filling. The sweet potato was soft and cooked just right. I added butter and brown sugar, which made it even better and went really well with the rest of the meal. For dessert, I got the cheesecake. I really enjoyed it, but the toasted pecans on top were my favorite part. I just wish they added a little more because they were that good. Overall, LongHorn continues to be a dependable option for takeout. Even with a quick reheat, the food still came through and the portions were worth it. Amazing service and food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back and get the same bites. The spinach dip which was parm crusted was so so good but I would immediately order the shrimp again. The shrimp was hot and spicy which was a 10/10.

Haven't been to Longhorn in such a long time, I had a gift card so decided to use it. I was seated right away, the restaurant wasn't busy, it was still pretty early around 12pm. Ordered the Ribeye medium, it was cooked to perfection and the flavor was also perfect! Had a Margarita (glass) with a shot of Don Julio, it was only $1.99 extra for the upgraded Tequila, was delicious! Service was good and efficient, the Manager came around checking on each table that was a great touch to the service.

Longhorn never misses on their food. We had appetizers which were sent out with great flavor. The entire table was seated quickly as we had a party of six, but we all had a great time. Our server was impeccable and very attentive. The entire table either had salmon or steaks and no one had a complaint. We all enjoyed conversations and laughs after church. This Location maintains cleanliness and hospitable attitude.

Well, unfortunately when you're dealing with substandard chain restaurants, one can expect hit and miss service and food. The last time my husband and I were here, the food and service was wonderful. Sadly, we had long time friends from out of town joining us for dinner, which turned out to be a fiasco! Burnt food was brought to our table, wrong salad was brought to the table, and one of our friends received two of the same salads, not at the same time. One of our friends received cold mashed potatoes. My shrimp and rice were lukewarm at best. We never have had so much go so wrong at one visit. I can honestly say that we are totally done with this restaurant. Oh, by the way, one of the items my husband ordered was Brussel sprouts, which came out burnt. I can no longer recommend this restaurant! It all stems from very poor management!

Loaded baked potato with extra salt - would have preferred no salt on it. Lessons learned.

Disappointed in Longhorn. I have had a number of good experiences at locations throughout Florida thanks to my parents' fondness for the steaks. We went to the Sanford/Lake Mary location for lunch to celebrate a coworker's birthday. I will say it was packed when we sat down (around 12:40). However, it soon cleared out, leaving us to wonder why the kitchen was "backed up". Our server was friendly enough. What we had issues with were food inconsistencies. The burger I ordered medium showed up as well done. I didn't complain about it but wondered why ask us what temperature we wanted burgers at. My coworkers ordered steaks, which were supposed to be medium rare, but they were well done. The outside was charred - like they'd been forgotten on the grill for too long. The server took it back and had the steak remade. It took another 10 minutes, which was attributed to the kitchen being behind. There were only two or three other tables at this point, so I don't quite understand that. The server brought out another side since my coworker ate their original side (after waiting patiently). The whole experience was really off putting. Based on that, I won't be back to this location. Ambiance is that of any other Longhorn - nothing to write home about.

We had a large group of ladies meet for lunch to celebrate my birthday on a midweek afternoon. Our server was super friendly and patient considering there was 11 of us. She took our orders in a timely manner and brought us drinks right away. Our food came out fairly fast, cooked to perfection. My steak was tender and juicy. Waters were filled quickly and frequently. The food was delicious and plentiful. As a matter of fact, I made two meals out of my order. Everything was super clean, even the bathroom.

I went last week for lunch. Angela took care of us and she was so sweet, she gave amazing service. We felt welcomed and were checked in frequently. The food, was way too salty. I was wondering why my toddler was refusing to eat his food, I thought he was throwing a fit. After so long, I tried the fries and they were not edible! It was so incredibly salty, I felt so bad for trying to make my baby eat them. Unfortunately I noticed this until the end so I felt there was no point in trying to send them back now. My steak was salty but I didn't mind, it was still good since I had it with salad. The lunch chicken sandwiches were tasty and filling. The French onion soup was not good, they should replace it with a broccoli cheddar soup or a chicken soup. It tasted nasty. Overall, they had great lunch specials and good service. I would be back but they need to focus on quality control!

Appetizers were delicious. Two Texas Tonions $9.99 each and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms $11.29

It's longhorn... For a chain steakhouse it's pretty good, I love their service and I love to get the spicy chicken bites for appetizer.

Considering we've even celebrated birthdays and other events here, the portion-sizes are much smaller than we recalled. I don't mind paying extra for quality since I recognize inflation has prices going up everywhere, but I don't think it's fair to price-gouge your customers for notably smaller portions. My partner's steak was small and very fatty. I paid extra for a loaded baked potato that was tiny and only had butter and sour cream on it. I got half the fish than all my previous visits and the rice was very, very greasy. Definitely not worth what I paid for because the only highlight was the spinach dip appetizer. But even that was expensive for a dip I could've made myself. We used to be regulars here, but I just don't feel like paying more for extra small portions and less quality meals. It's hard to tell what's really made from "scratch" anymore as almost everything tasted like it came from a cheap can or a box and it used to not be like that. Things have just changed here, including the service, and it's unfortunate because we used to come here all the time...

To start, when we came into the restaurant, the Hostess not once smiled or said welcome to Cheddars or how are we doing, nothing! We asked to be seated in the bar area at a high top table. A young lady (not our server) promptly plopped down a basket containing two honey buttered croissants without uttering a word! Keep in mind that this place wasn't super busy at all. We waited between 5-10 minutes for a server to get to our table. She was very nice. Our food was served hot and delicious. I ordered a cheeseburger with blue cheese and an order of Onion Rings that was awesome. Hubby had their Chicken Pot Pie with a salad that was enough for two people, which also was very delicious. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back with a nice variety of music (not played too loudly). We enjoyed our lunch and our server.

We arrived just before noon and were able to grab a table inside, though the patio looked like a fun option as well. I called about 45 minutes before arriving just to see if there was any chance we could get a table. They mentioned they were only taking reservations that day but were kind enough to squeeze us in for 1:30, which worked out perfectly. Raven was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable. The only time we got a little warm was after our second mimosa... but that might be on us Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

It was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. It felt like others were also coming in for one last visit, which added a bittersweet feeling to the evening. They have always been one of the highlights. For food, we ordered beef empanadas, coconut shrimp, and the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich. The empanadas were not quite as good as I remembered. The filling was more soupy than before and did not have the same bold flavor I used to enjoy. The coconut shrimp was solid and consistent. The chicken sandwich tasted like it may have been cooked slightly too long, making it a bit drier than expected. Service was great, especially considering how busy they were.
