Local Floridian passing through Sanford. Thought I'd try the Roadhouse as it's been awhile since I dined at this chain. Sat at the bar, and was greeted by warm staff. Food was good and well proportioned. I had salmon (they didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked, and they should have); It was overdone but still edible. I had mushrooms and a sweet potato as sides. Ambiance was good, no over powering music, and manager came by timely to check in - plus. Timing from the kitchen was great for a Friday night. This chain has changed and remained consistent over the years. All good, overall. I'd definitely choose this spot over it's local competitor, because of food quality, food sourcing, management, timing and attention to detail. To put the cherry on top, see my dessert pic! :D

Service was slow due to only one bar tender but the food was tasty and prepared well. Appetizers was only lukewarm only criticism during visit. Had to send back a bar glass with a chip could have cut my lip should take better look when washing. Steak spot on. Would visit again!

Texas Roadhouse in Sanford delivered a great all-around experience, and a big shoutout goes to Tony, our server, for absolutely nailing it. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel genuinely welcome, checked in at all the right times, and kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. That kind of service really sets the tone for the whole meal. The food was pretty good too. The pot roast was comforting and flavorful, and that signature cinnamon butter they bring out with the bread? Still undefeated. Add in the free bag of peanuts and it's hard not to feel instantly at home. Bonus points for their rewards program--sign up and you get a free appetizer for your birthday, which is a win in itself. And yes, the Cactus Blossom is as delicious as everyone says. Great service, solid food, and those little extras that make Texas Roadhouse such a reliable favorite. We'll definitely be back--hopefully with Tony again!

It had been years since we last went to a Texas Roadhouse. We are more interested in local and small business restaurants, but our friends suggested going here and we were not disappointed. The wait time was under 10 minutes for our party or 4 on a busy Friday evening. The rolls were delicious as always. We both enjoyed the shrimp, with the steak being yummy as well. They could improve the rice as it tasted like a microwaved packet. The ambiance is always the same, a fun environment!

How I've missed TRH! Always enjoy it and went with my "go to" of the 8oz medium rare sirloin with grilled shrimp, Caesar salad and green beans. Add in a couple of Coronas and their amazing bread and it's a hard to beat meal!

Stopped here for dinner with the grands while traveling. Customer service is spot on! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We happened to be there on a Tuesday which is apparently their kids night. Our waitress, Haven, was very attentive and friendly. After starting with a fried pickle appetizer, we ordered hotdog with applesauce for the 3 year old and mini cheese burger double with steak fries for the 7 year old. The adult had 8oz salmon, veggies, house salad, and shrimp. The food was absolutely delicious. Why did I give them 4 stars? The food was far too hot when it was served for it to be most enjoyable on the palate. The hotdog was too hot for one to hold let alone bite into. The fries burned the 7 year olds tongue. After distracting them for several minutes, I was able to let them eat. Overall it is a great place to eat and is across the street from Springhill Suites.

The food was served quickly in spite of how busy the restaurant was. The service was poor, I only got one refill on my drink and that was after tracking down the waitress. It's also very loud, they turned up the music even louder at around 8pm. It felt like they did not want us there. However, the food was all tasty. The steak was cooked as requested. The salad is always good and the loaded mashed potatoes came out hot. The fried pickles are the best appetizer.

The service by Haven was absolutely fantastic and on point. The ribeye was done to perfection. The rolls and French fries were amazing too. The peanuts added to the vibe and ambiance of the dining experience. Glad this is always a treat!

Amazing! I cannot believe I have not been to a Texas Roadhouse ever before, I see what I have been missing out on!! Quick service and the food came out fast. Great prices for everything. $5 long islands!! My $15 steak dinner was better than the $45 steak we had the other night! Cooked perfectly and so tender. Loved the loaded baked potato and the mac and cheese. So simple yet so good. Do not get me started on those rolls with the cinnamon butter. Im a pig rolling around in mud for those things. I really liked this location and my first roadhouse experience was amazing. Cannot wait to go back!

    Another excellent sirloin!

I only sat in my car for three minutes before the food was brought to me and it was pouring. As for the food, we ordered onion rings, fried chicken and a buffalo chicken wrap. The onion rings, surprisingly, traveled well. While they weren't hot by the time we ate them, they were still crispy. The buffalo chicken wrap was okay. I think they changed some of the ingredients to avoid the parasite outbreak. While I appreciated that, it just wasn't as good as it's been in the past. They also gave us a lot of croissants, which were warm and delicious. It was also under $50, and considering how much food we orderer, the prices are very reasonable.

Considering we've even celebrated birthdays and other events here, the portion-sizes are much smaller than we recalled. I don't mind paying extra for quality since I recognize inflation has prices going up everywhere, but I don't think it's fair to price-gouge your customers for notably smaller portions. My partner's steak was small and very fatty. I paid extra for a loaded baked potato that was tiny and only had butter and sour cream on it. I got half the fish than all my previous visits and the rice was very, very greasy. Definitely not worth what I paid for because the only highlight was the spinach dip appetizer. But even that was expensive for a dip I could've made myself. We used to be regulars here, but I just don't feel like paying more for extra small portions and less quality meals. It's hard to tell what's really made from "scratch" anymore as almost everything tasted like it came from a cheap can or a box and it used to not be like that. Things have just changed here, including the service, and it's unfortunate because we used to come here all the time...

We arrived just before noon and were able to grab a table inside, though the patio looked like a fun option as well. It was a Saturday, and had a brunch menu, but I opted for a regular lunch. Ample seating outside and inside. The service was a bit slow, and food took quite some time, but I feel like thats a hit or miss with all restaurants, and could just be that one time. The menu itself has some really great options so it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering the clam chowder. It had a really nice flavor and really enjoyed it, not too many clams though. For my entree I ordered the bulgogi bahn mi.... And I get it "salted" is part of the name of this restaurant, but it was so so salty, almost inedible salty-. Overall really cute restaurant, vibe and concept, but I'd definitely order something else if I ever went back.

It was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. It felt like others were also coming in for one last visit, which added a bittersweet feeling to the evening. I ordered a pina colada and a pineapple coconut martini. The drinks were perfect. Cold, smooth, and exactly what I remember. I will truly miss the drinks here. They have always been one of the highlights. For food, we ordered beef empanadas, coconut shrimp, and the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich. The empanadas were not quite as good as I remembered. The filling was more soupy than before and did not have the same bold flavor I used to enjoy. The coconut shrimp was solid and consistent. The chicken sandwich tasted like it may have been cooked slightly too long, making it a bit drier than expected. Service was great, especially considering how busy they were. The staff handled the crowd well and remained friendly and attentive throughout the night. While the food was not as memorable as it once was, the experience and the drinks reminded me why this place was special. It is always tough to see a longtime favorite close.
