OMG, this food!!! Wow. I'd never been here because I don't eat red meat. Yup. I'm one of THOSE people. But, it turns out, at LongHorn Steakhouse, there's something for everyone! And, I love it!!! They have the best shrimp -- so flavorful! I also loved their salmon which was flame broiled: so amazing in flavor. For those who don't like the taste of fish, THIS is for you! All meals come with 2 sides. One time, I got their corn on the cob which was unlike any corn on the cob I've ever had: it was seasoned and had cream on it! It was incredible! I also got their strawberry salad with toasted pecans and it was huge! Yes, I paid a tad extra for the salad (I think it was something like $2.97), but, you can also get a regular salad as one of the 2 items. Lastly, all meals come with fresh baked, hot out of the oven wheat bread and cold butter. This bread is INCREDIBLE. Some of the best bread I've ever had! It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfect! All times we've ordered from here, we got to go since we were staying in a hotel. They have the system worked out and it was seamless, friendly, and efficient. Everything was packaged perfectly -- no drippy boxes! And, plastic silverware was included with napkins: Thank you!!! I quickly ordered the filet, sweet potato, Caesar salad to be sure I didn't have to wait... cold crisp salad (possibly over dressed) and complimentary warm bread with butter came out immediately and were very tasty. Finished my 1st martini and my steak arrived.. cooked on the button.. medium rare and very tender.. sweet potato loaded.. yum! A few months ago we were telling management how well the wait staff was doing on timing and clearing each course Today we were discussing the worst Bloody Mary of all time - some tomato juice with a glass of vodka. There are no cellary stalks or olives at the bar. They took it back and credited the charge. A "loaded' baked potato ought to have enough butter and sour cream to fill the void. Waitress should check in before the potato gets too cold to add butter. Don't complain or they might spill your soda in your lap. It does not do any good to upset the waitresses because she is doing what she can. Manager finally showed up to listen and give a little lip service. The wait was 45 minutes but we chose a terrible weekend to go. However the food was worth the wait. My boyfriend got the steak and lobster tail, which he said were done perfectly. Disappointed. I travel for work constantly so I am always on the road eating out. I stayed in town for the night and was excited to find out my hotel was so close as I thoroughly enjoy dining at this restaurant chain. The presentation of the meal was completely unappetizing and the 12oz steak resembled a grey matter puck. Waiter was very courteous and offered to correct the issue however, my expectations had fallen and I somewhat got the feeling a fresh plate would hold nothing but spite for me. Maybe I'm cynical but the steak was too watery and temperature was inconsistent throughout. Since it came to the Haute, my parents made this their destination for Friday date night. They've never once complained and are always happy with their order and service. So they didn't hold back and brought my brother and I when we went home from break I can't remember when. Everything we had was well made. The steak literally melted in your mouth and had do much flavour! The appetizers were amazing. We usually get the cheesy mushrooms, but we've since then tried some others. Tip from a waiter: dip the bread in the cheese that's overflowing from the mushrooms. Thank me later. Here's another tip, from me this time: don't go there on New Year's. We went and had one of the longest wait times ever while waiting for a table and our for. Regardless, I'm still giving the place 5 stars because I understand it was New Year's and everyone wanted to ring it in with a good meal they didn't have to make probably because they were up late too! For someone whose on the road a lot, this is probably my favorite steakhouse to go to. I love coming to this town because of this restaurant. I've been here 5 times. Each time I've been served by Sammy the waitress. In my option she would make a good manager. (My father has managed restaurants since my youth) and in my opinion she's got the right stuff. We ate lunch at Longhorns Steak House 3/7/2023. I had the 12 oz ribeye steak, baked sweet potato, and a salad. The ribeye had good flavor but it was so tough I couldn't eat it. The wait staff was very apologetic and gave me another steak. I don't mind paying for good food, but if they're going to charge the high prices the should serve quality food. Meal was just what I expected. Then I ordered an Old Fashioned made with Makers. OMG! They have NO idea how to make one. An entire wedge of orange with seeds, pulp and yuk! We love coming here, but 4 stars because the steak is always undercooked. We have sent it back in the past but then it's always well done. We sit immediately which is great we order our drinks those come out great then we order an appetizer Texas tonions I do believe they were ok a little to salted for our tast not sure if they come like that or not we have never ordered them before. So we told the waitress about it she said sorry and brought out another plate of fries and those seemed heated up and again over salted. I feel the wait staff here are not friendly they put your food on the table and off they go before you can ask for something. The place is very dark I had to use the light from my phone to look at the menu. But we are not impressed with how everything turned out over all. The food was really not that good for the price you pay not sure if we will revisit this place anymore.
