My # 1 plate always Pork Chop Plate Sides: fried okra Asparagus Absolutely one of the best plates of food I have had in Victoria. I do not recommend to go orders on the same tho. Ordered Sirloin salad with steak medium, however it was very well done. Couldn't eat it. Ordered Molten cake with ice cream, didn't receive the ice cream. The Chicken Parmesan was okay. Ribs were tender but chard on the on one the side. The shrimp appetizer was good. Also ordered brisket queso, that's okay but the chips were drenched in grease and very stale. I ordered a medium steak easy on the salt, salad dressing on the side and asparagus. I received my salad with dressing already on it, a heavily seasoned steak cooked medium rare, and heavily seasoned asparagus. I had my birthday dinner one week ago at Longhorn, we did have an 1-2 hour wait considering our party was 11, but when seated we were properly catered to by the staff . i will say the establishment is small for our growing town but still nice, cleanly, and comfortable . I've gone several times but waited to make a review because they only recently opened and needed time to shake out the bugs. But it's been several months and you've had plenty of time to get things right, and I don't hold out much hope you'll turn things around with the current manager (who seems to always walk around aimlessly). Food is just ok, drinks are hit or miss, but the one thing that maintains consistency is the service: subpar. We sat at the bar last night and the server forgot the two drinks we ordered in the fifteen steps it took her to get to the drink station. She had to walk right back and ask us again. We had to flag her down to order an app. And again when we were ready to order our entrees. Including us, there were THREE people at the bar. Then she tried to charge me for three drinks when I only had two. And never did get the glass of water I asked for. You might have sqeezed out three stars, but then your server coughed right in front of us without covering her mouth. BOOM: one star and we're never coming back here again. read more

We arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes early, (we live an hour away) and they let us know it would be about 45 minutes until they can seat us. We ended up waiting, 40 minutes later they let us know it would now be a 2 hour wait. Observed when we walked in lots of folks were waiting at the bar, inside, and outside, but forged ahead to be told at least a 30 minute wait. I decided to go to the restroom and noted 15-20 tables either empty or needing to be cleaned off. But we decided to wait in the hot (No AC) seating area for a while. People ahead of us began to leave disgusted with the wait time. We finally gave up and went to find lunch somewhere else. I wanted to take my husband and children somewhere special for Father's Day, and he chose this new steakhouse location. Parking was easy and close to the door. We were told there was going to be a 25 minute wait and decided to go ahead and wait. To our surprise, after about 7 minutes my husband got the text saying our table was almost ready. The server Allyssa was super sweet and helpful! I tried the new dragon fruit margarita and it was out of this world! The mango margarita was phenomenal as well. The fried onion appetizer and sauce was amazing, hot and fresh, as well as the cute bread loaf. The entrees were delicious, as well as the strawberry shortcake! We ordered appetizers and they were so salty you could hardly eat them. When our main courses arrived they were cold and over salted as well-and we like salt but it was so bad you couldn't eat it. This one just opened their doors yesterday. I would say I was very impressed. I had the Sirloin /Shrimp & it was cooked perfectly & tasted great. The Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream was absolutely wonderful. We both "shared" it because it was 2 big slices & 2 scoops. We left stuffed & happy. All the wait staff was very attentive. Ordered a ribeye steak with side of fries. Got the side wrong, brought broccoli. I asked for fries, brought some that were cold and obviously not fresh. I asked for another order, hot hopefully and got them. Too salty. Now the steak, after all the mistakes with the side, I cut my steak which was supposed to be medium rare. It was medium well!! After all the time trying to get my order correct, my friend was almost finished eating. Did not want to keep her waiting and just kept quiet about a $30 cut. Never did get the salt shaker filled! During that time a waiter tried to bring us more food as we were already eating?? Maybe first day for him, not sure.
