This place was truly fantastic for its price point. I was a little hesitant to order a steak at a chain restaurant, but, this did not disappoint. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye Medium Rare as it is known to be one of the biggest and tastiest steaks on their menu. While it's the only steak I have had here, I'd challenge whether a different option has the combination of beef flavor, tenderness, and juiciness; it was fabulous. For sides, it was worth it to splurge outside of the norms. The Strawberry salad was enormous and a lot healthier of a start before my 20 oz meat adventure. I enjoyed it and it was huge. I initially asked my server if they made a mistake as it did not look like a side salad. The corn was excellent as well. It was basically Mexican street corn and it was a very large cob with a ton of flavor and sauce. You really can't go wrong with this one. All and all, it depends what you want to do for the steak and the sides. I went big steak, few carbs in sides so I knew I could eat the whole thing. I can't stress enough how much I really liked the steak/corn/strawberry salad combination. I'm going to order it again. Service was very good. I sat at the bar and they had a lot of locals that knew the servers very well. Again, weird for a chain, because it had a hometown feel to it. Bread and butter was awesome. They have A1 and Heinz 57 for those that enjoy a table sauce on their steak. Visit, you won't be disappointed. At this price point, you are taking advantage of the Darden Company buying power and they pass the savings on to the customer to challenge competitors. Quick Tip: they grill steaks on open flame and a flat top. Depending what you order decides how it's cooked. I believe all the bone in steaks are open flame while filets and others are flat top. I believe you may be able to request a filet on an open flame but am not sure. read more

Came here Friday evening after a long day. As I stated before this is one of my go to places for steak but tonight I was really disappointed. Ordered the Outlaw ribeye which has always been extremely good, but this steak was not only under cooked for medium but so grisly it was hard to cut. My wife ordered the filet and it too was under cooked slightly and also had some gristle. Never heard of that in a filet. The service was veeeeeerrrrrryy slow. We called ahead so go in with 10 min of arriving however 50 min later we finally got our entree. Also ordered the steakhouse wings that were really good and came out decently timed. But had to ask for bread and finally got my straw for my drink after the 3rd request. They have some new menu items and they took the spaghetti squash off and added glazed whole carrots. I gave them a try since they didn't have my squash but wasn't that great. So to sum up this mess of a meal, I sent my steak back and told them to not bring me another. I didn't eat all me carrots. Salad was Ok but hard to mess that up. Best part of the meal was the wings. The only reason this review is getting 3 star rather than the 1 star it deserves is that Matt the manager came to the table and made it right. I wasn't upset and didn't expect a compt meal but he took care of everything. He spoke for several minutes and I could tell he cared about the mishaps. He earned my respected and I'll be back. UPDATE 4/26/2019- took my wife here for dinner since we had to be in Wooster. Got right in for bar area seating @ 5:45 pm. We just beat the dinner rush. She ordered Flo's Filet medium well and I the NY Strip medium. Hers came out very well done with some charring. My was decent but was cooked uneven. We have loved this Longhorn and their staff for a few years, but over the last month or so they've been slipping. Last trip we had steaks so peppered they weren't edible and baked potatoes that weren't done. They were so hard we couldn't mash them at all. We returned today and asked for steak a little less peppered. We all ordered medium well. We got flavorless steak and mine had to go back because there was blood on my plate. Their manager is still awesome and he sure tries, but the kitchen has taken a turn for the worst. We've learned how to make amazing ribeyes at home, so it looks like that's what we'll be doing moving forward. read more

All of the staff was hustling including the manager on duty who was a constant presence helping with whatever was needed including getting all of our 8 entrees delivered simultaneously. Soup and salad first course was served very quickly after getting our bar order filled promptly. Warm bread was served alongside and was wolfed down. My French onion soup was outstanding. Flo'sFillet was the reco from Mom & Dad. All but one of us ordered it in one size or another. I asked for mine medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, had great flavor and was so tender! Everyone else from our "well dones" to our "rares" commented. similarly. Baked Potato was hot and fluffy. Others loved the mashed potatoes Total bill including drinks and nice tip was under $250. I didn't see that at the restaurant, because it was so dark in the corner of the bar that the bartender asked me to step down to. Otherwise, I would have had them remake his salmon. His rice was salty & mashed potatoes were dripping with butter. My steak was supposed to be medium, but it was more medium well to well and tough. The meat itself seemed to have no flavor/seasoning and had burned portions on it. The sweet potato & broccoli was fine. The bread was somewhat hard. I have yet to have a good dining experience at this location. I was hoping today would be the day. I've given it a couple tries, but between poor service and low quality food, this was our last visit. Tonight, we had a larger party (8 adults & 2 kids), so expected a long wait. It was a Thursday night (5:30 pm). We were seated in an hour (again, expected). When the waitress came over for our drink order, we said we were ready to order everything. Rather than take our order, she excused herself, went to the 4-top behind us and got their order first. This family got their meal, ate it and ordered dessert. We were still waiting on salads and a single kids meal. When management was alerted, their computer said we'd waited only 30 minutes for our food. It was 7:30. Either the manager was lying or the waitress had waited 30 minutes to put our order in. Now on to the food. Despite the fact I could have made it all from scratch in the same amount of time, it was sub par at best. The steaks were lower quality. They were also so undercooked that the 2 that were ordered were sent back. The rest looked no different than what you get at the local cafe or grocery. The summer special of American Kobe (pet peeve: There is NO such thing! Like saying California Champagne) is inedible. Take some meat shavings, soak them in Italian dressing for a day, then cook them on a griddle until they resemble shoe leather. Ta da! Dog food in a plate! Only $15.98!
