Do I have to even give the rating of one star? This is the worst experience I've ever had in a car…read morerepair. Be ready for disappointment and false promises. Expect to be low balled on pricing and charged more. Expect double the time frames or worse. This location is an embarrassment to the automotive community and the AAMCO company. This place is a complete nightmare. Please look at the reviews before dropping off your vehicle…read more They are scammers and will tell you there is way more wrong with your vehicle than there actually is. My son dropped off his vehicle on March 27 because it had a slight delay and it concerned him. They told him they would be finish with it in a couple days. Later on, they told him they had to do a diagnostic and just that alone would cost $975. Had my son been communicating this with me, I would have been able to tell him right away that the place is full of crap and to go get his car. Him being young and not knowing, he went along with it. They then told him that it was over $4000 worth of damage. That is also crap because we purchased the vehicle from a reputable dealership that completed a full inspection on it prior to putting it on the sales floor. The vehicle could have needed some work, but no way possible it was $4,000 worth. They told him it would be another few days. Here we are, almost a month later and he still doesn't have his car back. They promise him his vehicle "tomorrow" and every day, they have another excuse and keep miraculously finding stuff wrong. After doing a so called $975 diagnostic in the beginning, how are you still discovering stuff? First, they found something new, then the repair guys mother died, then they were waiting for a part to come in. It's always something. We are preparing to take legal action against then, because they are holding our vehicle hostage at this point, and on top of that, he has already paid them over $3000 towards the repairs. If something doesn't give and we have adequate proof of the repairs that were done, we are suing them. It shouldn't have to come to this but here we are. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!!

Dude had car back to me in a day and a half. Derek has a very nice shop, is certified VW Tech and definitely knows what he is talking about. Good luck beating his prices and quality. They always make sure to actually listen to all of the information you have about little quirks or issues before they start a diagnostic, and will go over EVERYTHING in easy to understand detail before doing any work, something I've found as a female car owner to be lacking at most repair shops. Most recently I brought in a ridiculous dealer quote for a new transmission among other things to get a second opinion and Derek went through with me all of the issues and explained how it would not be financially prudent to go through with any further repairs on the car and to sell it as is for its parts value. Not what I was hoping to hear about my once trusty steed, but what I needed to. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a truly honest and capable mechanic with a German vehicle.
