This place is hit and miss, but my 1 star review is largely related to the service department and experience that I am currently in the process of. For our last 2 service appointments, we brought our car home finding out they had not reset the "Maintenance Required" alert on the dash. The first time it happened, they said we could either fix it ourselves or bring it in. We live an hour away! and how could they expect us to fix something that they were negligent on? so the service man gave us a free car wash when we brought it in.. ok thats fine.. Now this is the second time in a row that they have done the SAME MISTAKE! It is ludicrous to expect us to drive another hour back for a mistake that they made AGAIN! My husband has been in contact with the service manager, we are demanding an additional free service for their repeated errors, they asked for a photo of the dash indicator, and we have been getting nothing but delays. I was actually considering to continue coming here after our free services are done. But why would anyone want to go to a shop that constantly makes mistakes.. and this is only a service light! Though my experience with the sales department was outstanding, and their technology consultant is a genius, my recent experience with their service department was far from satisfactory. I brought the Certified 2018 ES 350 in because the Navigation unit was intermittently changing routes on its own. They kept it for a couple of days, and stated that they could not replicate my findings. I guess I must be lying or making it up. In any event, I am now stuck with a vehicle still under warranty that they cannot fix. Additionally, they picked up the car spotlessly clean and returned it filthy. Also, left my gas tank nearly empty. I am reaching out to Lexus Corporation and also will take any future service needs to another dealer. When my car was ready to be picked up after having the oil changed, it was not functional, and the engine and other lights were on. Before I dropped it off, my car was in good functioning order. They are unable to repair the cover engine's stolen logo symbol. I have been taking my car for over 15 years to Longo Lexus and in the past years the service was good but now it's not. I've been going to Longo Lexus for quite some time as they were the only Lexus dealership that treated my wife's car great but also offered competitive pricing that made me more than willing to make the trek out there (especially coming from Korea town and now Glendale). However, it seems times have changed, and inflation really has made things not so great here. First, let me preface that Jackelyne, my service rep today, was great, but honestly, I felt that things were rushed, overlooked, and just not considered. I bought a used IS350 for an oil change and to have a regular inspection check, and while the oil change and inspection didn't go without a hitch, I didn't get the "so tell me what's going on with everything." Instead, I was hit with "hey, let's just do this package and get it over with," which made me feel uneasy. Past service reps here always talked about my wife's car, if there was anything they could do, and did more of an effort or due diligence to make the car in tip-top shape. Here, not so much; this is how I found out that the oil change has practically doubled in price since my first time here. I get it that over the years, prices rise, but now double? Past changes never exceeded $100, but now $155 was a bit too much. This prevented me from talking to them about the dash. Lexus of America told me to talk to the customer service agents about it (Originally, Longo Lexus told me to call Lexus Of America). The car suffers from the typical "sticky" issue, which should have been a recall and not some extended warranty joke. So much help from Lexus of America. Basically got the run around in this instance. Also, $199 for a safety inspection is a bit too much, and I've seen other dealerships, including other Lexus dealerships, charge way less or make it complementary. Also, the communication seems to be missing here; Jackelyne told me that my car was getting washed, but it turned out they just did something to neutralize some of the odors in the car and put a hang tag to tell me they can't wash my car and made the excuse that the bumper was damaged, which it already was. (which I've washed the car with the damage before) A very WTF moment indeed. Further, Jackelyne telling me my car was coming from sanitation lacked a bit of tack, telling it to me in front of everyone as if my car had someone murdered in it or I was some leper. Unfortunately, I may not return here if the prices continue inflating and the service lacks this much effort. The layout seems nicer than previous before, but this Lexus dealership is becoming the atypical take your money and move on to the next client dealership/service center. UPDATE 7:03pm 7/29/2022 From two to ONE star now - Kary L just posted the viewpoints. Just because you stated the facts doesn't mean the customer was treated right. Sorry not sorry. I'm just highlighting the issues your dealership had. If you want me to update with more on what you guys were excellent in the past towards now i'd be happy to, but it seems to prove that customer service is gone. My recommendation is now to STAY AWAY from Longo. They're used to mistreating all of their customers and taking advantage of their patience and understanding to make a buck or two. Shame. pitiful. So first of all, TONY MINARTO is the man to see! I contacted him the beginning of the week over the phone to talk about a Certifed Lexus ES350. He did confirm a few available at his location of Longo Lexus. So I scheduled an appointment for Friday even though I was still talking to other consultants from other locations at the time. He wasn't pushy or kept calling or contacting me everyday as others did. This showed me he was willing to work with me and not try to be a sales SHARK as I've experienced with previous purchases. Now I've been researching online for availability on hand from multiple Lexus dealers and seeing who had the better deal. I did confirm again for Friday's appointment with TONY and he was appreciative for confirming on both ends. We finally met today 30 min earlier from our schedule appointment but he didn't hesitate to come out and greet us with cold bottle waters and anything else we needed!! So the journey of purchasing a car begins haha. Of course we expected him and this whole process to be like all other car buying experiences to be (pushy salesman, sales shark, anything to get the deal done). It was by far the total opposite. Long story short, he gave us what we wanted, what we wanted to look at, took his time to explain everything, we were on our time and not his of course right? Haha I can go on with the whole experience with TONY MINARTO but at the end, it really did feel like family hanging out with family but with a BRAND NEW 2022 LEXUS ES350 at the end. Not sure about this place. It lingers at 1-2 star. I've been here a few times now. I have a NX and my sister has the IS and we come here to get it serviced. My sisters IS was bought here and it used to be a loaner car. It's gone through alot of headache so my advice is not to buy one of these. They dont actually take care of their loaners very well but as a loaner user its good bc theyre not too strict when being returned. However this is carried over when sold. Also their IS is not made very well imo. The customer service rep, E.D (for the IS), is what made me launch this review as it was drafted for a few months now bc I was hesitant in writing a bad review. There were alot of annoyances I had to deal with at this dealer but this was my last straw. He has us bring the IS for something he could have figured out if he had given it 5mins of thought. We didnt need to come in. The service ppl supposedly didnt tighten some wires where the gas petal is. All he did was tuck them in. We could have done that without killing 1.5hrs of our time!! A photo was sent in the email! I also called him at least 3 times and left 1 vm and even emailed him BUT NO REPLY. Also this tells you how careless their service workers are since they are not finishing the work properly. With the NX I had it serviced (oil change) and 3 days later it totally spilled out all the oil. I bring in my car and they tell me nothing spilled out. But I think thats a lie. The oil did leak out and they just filled it back up and didnt tell me the truth. Or something did spill but they cant find it. Either way it's on them. That is truly how I feel....and my instinct is dead on. So my vibe here isnt great and I will strongly consider going elsewhere. read more

When I arrived on the day of the appointment, I was given a rental car as they said it could take up to 6 hours to complete the job. 3 and a half hours into waiting, they called me and told me they were not able to start the job because they did not have the parts. The supervisor Clem Cisneros blamed the scenario on a high response rate of the recall. That was an unacceptable answer because they could have called me before the day's appointment. I had to use a vacation day to make time for this recall that never happened. I am beyond disappointed at the lack of attention and incident resolution at Longo Lexus." read more

Just bought my Lexus is 350 7 months ago and it went from a 5 star review to 1 star today. I came in earlier for maintenance on my car and when I got my car back there was a deep white scratch that was noticeable by my door handle. That was not there when I arrived but somehow someone either used a tool and scraped through my paint. I called to speak to my service advisor Rene and he ignored my calls so I decided to return and ask for a service manager. They were trying to give me the run around and say I did it but clearly that was a lie when pictures were taken and they refused to show the before and after pictures. This is a brand new car and they were cautious or careful of my vehicle and that's so unprofessional. After insisting of showing me pictures or footage the service manager admitted that there was no scratch upon arrival. This is my first time buying a Lexus from this dealership and I'm starting to regret it. read more
