Bottom line: Choose a reputable dealer who values the customer, not those who see you as a cash cow. Clueless. For all the money they require of their customers and all the up selling going on, one would think they were helpful and competent. Not the case. I have been coming to this location, lauded as the best location locally, for years. The customer service has only declined, while up selling and incompetence has increased. From the moment you interact with staff, it is a series of mis-steps. Even though I made an online appointment and reconfirmed the day before over the phone they could not find record of an appointment. Ok, I handed them the printed confirmation from their website, [deer in the headlights look]. They asked me to take a seat in the lobby as the person with whom the appointment was apparently made [by them] was out that day. Again, no problem. After waiting 20 minutes, I walked up the front counter to inquire how much longer, and they couldn't find a record nor the printed paperwork, of which I had another copy. Again? I waited up at the front counter, a 'manager' magically appeared to help me. No apology, no hello how are you, just a follow me to my cubicle. After about 10 minutes of explaining of the work to be done (warranty work and a mirror issue) he said the computer stopped working. We got up and went to the next cubicle, after the guy typed up everything it was clear he did not listen as he added about 4 extra services and asks me to sign. Uh, no. Some more discussion, the other [purely optional] services he added magically disappeared. With a promise made to call me before any work performed and a deadline to make contact at noon to give me an update, I left. 1pm, 2pm, no call. I called and inquired about the status. 3 messages and phone tags later, I was told the car was ready and all my services performed. I asked what was the cost and they said $699 plus taxes. Ummm, for what? I asked. "All" the services you requested. When they listed the 4 services I requested and supposedly authorized, but didn't. I demanded to speak to a manager. As they were trying to placate me, I told them they was leaving work to talk face to face to get the issue resolved. Upon arrival, I asked for the manager and had to wait 20 minutes for him to be 'back from lunch'. Huh? I was just on the phone with him no less than 15 minutes ago. How could he have left in the 15 minutes it took me to drive there and already be gone an hour (as they said he was)? After more discussion, all the charges wiped, apologies given and everything blamed on the computer. Really? Is the computer corrupt to? I won't return. read more

Back in 2016 I got my first Lexus ever here with Longo, a 2014 IS250. I just needed something to get me from point A to be B, didn't need anything crazy at time. It was a positive experience. I live in the OC area so for me not to give Tustin, Newport, South County or Westminster Lexus business should say something right? I think so. I knew 3 others that went to Longo Lexus. Took my father to Longo in Sept 2020, since he was in the market for a LS460. The receptionist referred me to Francis. I don't think he was that impressed with us, as the feeling was mutual. He just seemed whatever dealing with us. Just didn't try. And what's the hurry lolo. There was barely anyone there when we arrived. We ended up finding 2014 LS460 at another dealership. So Francis, a lost sale for you. I also had mention at the time a little curiosity about the 2021 IS350 to Francis. Didn't think anything of it. Days later I'm getting a call from Francis. I was thinking oh, he wanted to see if my dads still looking for a LS460. That's nice. Nope, he just wanted to tell me the 2021 IS350 was in stock. I told him no, I think I'm too old for that now, looking towards more of a GS model. Francis didn't even try once again. Dead silence. You'd think he'd want to try find me a GS model or find exactly what I'm looking for. Nope, nada! Call ended so fast. Well! Francis, you can keep your 2021 IS350. As I'm a owner of a CPO 2017 RC-F. Yeah she's not a 2020 model, but I'm just wise with my finances. Francis you need to work on your customer service. That's 2 lost sales for Longo Lexus. Perhaps not judge a book by its cover. Came to get my tires checked because the pressure was low and pretty sure I had a leak in one of them. I came without an appointment on a weekday afternoon and they were crazy busy. Coffee and snacks with lots of lounging areas/charging/computers available so it wasn't bad. Frank was my service consultant and he was very courteous and professional and kept me updated via text message. Unfortunately they weren't able to accommodate me anytime soon so I was given a rental car at enterprise for the day and told to come back the next day. The enterprise experience was not so great, I had to wait a long time for a car and the car was dirty with crumbs and hair all over the seat. The gas tank was also nearly empty. I found all of this surprising since I was told I was waiting for the rental car to be cleaned and ready... My car ended up being ready at 5 pm later that day but I went to pick up in the morning instead and that wasn't an issue. Pick up was easy and quick. Overall, impressed with the service at Longo but Enterprise needs some work. read more

HOWEVER their diagnostic results show that it was an aftermarket MAS sensor that was giving me trouble My car was hesitating to accelerate, getting low mpg and low performance. Since swapping to OEM I'm back to 45/50mpg!! This review is not about the Lexus car ( the car is amazing I love it) this is about Longo Lexus dealership. The customer service there is absolute trash. I purchased my car from here in late January, the date I bought the car Tuesday at 3pm, they are suppose to have techs to show you how to use all the features on the car while at 3 pm there was not one available they were all in a meeting that wasn't going to be finished until 4pm ( a meeting so important not one person could leave it, these are techs not managers) so if I wanted to find out how to use the car properly I would have to wait an additional hour on top of how long it already takes to purchase a car. Since the purchase of the car I got into an accident and took it into the Longo collision center where I have been dealing with Krista Mardid one of the managers at the Longo body shop, she has been very helpful but no one else has been at. My car has been there almost 2 months with nothing done to it. After finally talking with Krista 6/1/23 she helped by locating my part that was on back order ( which the body shop should have done without me contacting her) she told me she would stay on top of the case and follow up. Johnny from collision center called me 6/2/23 said everything was here and they were going to start on my suspension work, he said he would call me along each step of the way and let me know what is going on with the car. Here I am 6/15/23 no call from Johnny at all. Lexus is a wonderful brand of car this dealership doesn't care about customer service at all you can get service like this not purchasing a luxury car go buy a gmc or Mazda they think they are a luxury dealership they are a garbage dealership when you make a purchase of a car you're also purchasing the service that comes with it. I had a beautiful Acura TL then went recently went to Car Heaven. After spending a month grieving for the lost of my car... I had to move on. Well, actually it was because of insurance but that's another story. I went to the Lexus dealership this weekend in hopes to find a car within my budget. Amazingly, there was one that fit the bill. Steve Tran pulled up the same car I was looking for on craiglist... I wasn't sure if it was a coincidence or just pure faith. It was a 2005 RX330. She's got a bit of a mileage on her but still looks beautiful. The complexion of exterior was practically flawless for a car over ten years old. We took her out for a spin and it had the same spirits of the Acura TL. Perhaps, it was reinCARnation? (Pun intended).
