Longo Lexus has always been my favorite place to visit, not only because my car needed servicing but because service here has always been top! While the car is being serviced, you may use their guest computers or enjoy complimentary drinks and work in the lounge. Their website had changed a bit since I last visited, and a simple oil change went from about $90 (2018) to $210 for a "package" that included some basic checkups. I didn't think much of it because of inflation and what was included in their package. When I had arrived (an hour late because my battery died - oops), Beau communicated the service and expectations. I was quoted a 2 hour wait (vs 3 hours on phone) and despite changing from "wait at Longo' to "call when ready" back to "wait at Longo," Beau was accommodating and helpful. When service was complete, Beau was extremely thorough and professional with the list of recommendations from the service technicians. Hilariously, service totaled to the point at which I might as well consider purchasing a new vehicle - though not surprising considering the age and mileage of my vehicle. What I appreciate the most was that Beau did not pressure me into getting any or all services on the "recommended" list. Instead, he communicated the ones that were most urgent because of safety, let me make the decisions, and followed up if I had any questions the following week. But the snacks... please bring back the snacks :( Also note that the coffee machine is finnicky. A latte did not come with milk but instead dispensed water. One trick that I did was mixing coffee with hot vanilla... not the same but close enough! read more

I was charged $230 just for a diagnosis, only to be told that the only solution is to replace the entire radio--for over $4,000! No alternative solutions, no repairs, just an overpriced replacement. It feels like they are more interested in making money than actually helping customers. Man Wong is an amazing Service Advisor. I had to come in on a Saturday without an appointment because the battery in my car needed to be replaced. Man got me in, had the battery tested and replaced and the cost was not bad at all! In fact, it was cheaper than 2 other local dealers had quoted me. Never had a bad experience here. Been going regularly for scheduled maintenance for about 4 years. Beau and David P are my favorites. Very upfront and helpful. Also their waiting area is top notch with wifi, outlets everywhere and comfortable seating. I get more done there than at my work office lol. And I've always been able to get a loaner when I need it as long as I ask in advance of my appt. I don't think anyone can convince me to go anywhere else. Welp, I got a bit of an unexpected call last night. Hieu had an unexpected cancellation on an allocation for a GX550 on the lot. I snatched that puppy up faster than jello shots at an AA meeting. Update to my initial review: After I expressed my concerns to service center rep and posting my review, I received response, as well as this reply to my review that suggested they may have found the cause of my ICS sensor issue. While I appreciate the follow-up, and that the service center end up waived the $225 charge since there is no work was done to my car, but I can't help and feel that this experience should have been handled better from the start. As a long-time Lexus owner, having owned four Lexus vehicles and always sharing positive experiences with friends and family, this service experience was disappointing. Lexus builds beautiful and reliable cars, which is why I've remained loyal for so long. However, experiences like these, where customers are left feeling nickel-and-dimed can really sour that loyalty. It's frustrating, especially for owners whose warranties have expired, to feel that they're being charged without clear communication or an efficient path to resolution. If Lexus wants to keep its loyal customers, it's essential that they maintain a high standard of customer service to match the quality of their vehicles. Do Not Recommend ~ the dealership has been overpriced for years due to constant Lexus ads creating higher public awareness yet their cars have so little features compare to Acura and Cadillac. The down payment is too high and over $1000 monthly plus tax license for plugins that doesn't save enough gas to justify extra hundreds paying monthly. I was looking for a used 2021 Lexus RX 350 and needed two things: - Itemized OTD price - Clearance to take the vehicle to my own mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection I contacted other dealerships with this same request, only for them to dodge and not address what I was looking for. It literally took five email exchanges for me to get the information I needed. This was not the case with Longo. I was looking to hop into a Lexus, particularly a Lexus IS350 F Sport. I told the scheduler that I wanted their most experienced sales person as I didn't want my time wasted. So they originally put me with Steven at 7 PM. I show up a little earlier than 7 PM and low and behold, Steven was not available. At this point I was already turned off. I mean if they don't keep their appointments that means they don't respect me and my time. I was eventually helped by someone else. I asked questions about the IS350 and was given some poor contradicting answers. I told them I wanted a fully loaded IS350 with every single option ticked. I mean, is it unreasonable that I want my luxury car to be filled with Luxury? I was told that this "60k" model is not kept at the dealership and I needed to run my credit check. I literally test drove my BMW M4 without a credit check when I got it, that's an 80K car. 20K more. Eventually I was able to test drive one of the cheaper versions by handing them the keys of my BMW as collateral. I was not impressed with the "Normal" IS350 and was told that I couldn't custom order a car to the way I wanted it. I think if I am going to spend 60K, I should get exactly how I want it to be just like my BMW. He gave me a story that Lexus is not a normal luxury car manufacturer and shares parts with Toyota. The salesperson wouldn't give me his business card and he didn't tell me his name. I eventually found it as "Matthew Yeung" on the Longo Sales team. I would have to say he doesn't make Lexus sound like a luxury brand and more of an econobox like Toyota. You don't tell someone that your luxury brand isn't really a luxury and is an overpriced Toyota. I called other dealerships about the IS350, they said that special ordering is possible. I also asked about discounts as well. There was zero discounts giving on the IS350 at the time. I called again to confirm what Matthew said about not being able to special order and the sales person "Jessica Chien" was really helpful and gave me much better info than Matthew. Jessica told me that yes, there is a special order process but it can take a few months. Jessica was really respectful of my time and responded to my questions in a timely manner and didn't give me any BS. I eventually started to look at a different car since I felt the IS350 felt like a stripped out luxury car so I looked at the ES350. When I say "stripped out luxury car", you lack some things compared to a BMW. Like rolling up and down windows with the key fob (was told Lexus got rid of this feature for safety). There is no easy entry, the screen resolution is terrible for a 2021 car, and there is excessive gear whine. This part has nothing to do with Longo Lexus, just Lexus as a car brand. When I was about to test drive ES350 car, it literally took three people to explain the car to me. Their "specialist" needed to review the manual for certain questions. They kept saying the car is an "Ultra Luxury Model" but the car they brought out wasn't a "Ultra Luxury" because the front windows weren't dual pane. So I don't know why I know their inventory better than their "specialists" which is another turn off. Overall, didn't really like the contradicting answers from two different Sales Person. Jessica is great to work with and would highly recommend working with her if you really want a Lexus. I personally didn't like how the sales team lacked knowledge of their own cars that they were trying to sell. But I still didn't like how my appointment meant nothing to the sales person. Probably should of just walked out of there if my original appointment was missed because the sales person couldn't make it. Maybe I will give them another chance in the future once Lexus brings their car up to "modern standards". read more
