My partner followed up and gave us a new estimate that it may be done at 5. With no apologies. Manager offered us a rental for free but if we knew it was going to take this long we could've gotten a rental earlier. My car was not even worked till 1:24pm we just got the text. After speaking with the General Sales Manager I was happy with his responses. If you are purchasing a warranty here do your homework in advance. According to the Sales GM Toyota has numerous levels for tire and wheel. I was sold something that did not cover any cosmetic damage (which is the finance departments fault) after I explained that would be important to have. We are researching if Tire and Wheel will be a viable option at $799.00. I do not like that you have to fight for coverage on these warranties. read more

Disclaimer: This review will be long lol. I want to give a shout out to Shawn Castillo (Digital Sales Manager) who assisted us with our sales transaction, as well as Pierce and Luca! I called and emailed dozens of dealerships within a 50-mile radius to me, and because of Shawn--my husband and I purchased from Longo Toyota instead of the other dealers much closer to us. We didn't actually meet Shawn in person--all communication was through email and phone. The digital age has truly changed the way people purchase vehicles now. Shawn was incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions (I had many) and explained everything clearly. Shawn was kind and understanding, and took the time to sell me a car that was up to my husband's standards for the price my husband was willing to pay. My husband and I were apprehensive purchasing a car (brand new) that we hadn't actually driven (although we test drove an identical car at a dealership closer to home). The car, however, was brand new and Shawn was an excellent communicator, so it helped ease our worries. Pierce and Luca delivered (earlier than originally scheduled, mind you which was great!) our car right to our door (no extra delivery fee). They both took the time to clearly explain and demonstrate all the features. They were both very kind and informative, just like Shawn. I wish Longo Toyota was closer to us, so that we could get our regular maintenance services done there. However, with two small children it's just not convenient for us to do so. BUT we will definitely be back to tint our new Prius, since we were informed by Luca and Pierce that Longo provides professional tinting at the dealership. Thank you again to Shawn, Pierce, and Luca! Took my Rav4 (purchased from Longo) into the service department and requested the fuse for the cigarette lighter be replaced. I am 100% certain my phone charger blew the fuse. However the service writer questioned my request and said they would have to perform diagnostic test to determine the real cause because it could be an electrical issue and not the fuse at all.(what harm is it to just change the fuse?) Wanted to charge me $199.00 just to look at it. I left out of frustration and went to a local garage a few blocks away. The owner Tony changed the fuse for me free of charge and now it works and I saved myself $199.00. Longo is a billion dollar company and still wants to nickle and dime their customers. Do better Longo. Btw before this incident I took the car in for my regular service and asked them to replace the fuse at that time and I was also quoted $199.00 diagnostic fee. Service writer Nolie (sp?)suggested I change the fuse myself. So I guess Longo techs dont know how to change fuses. read more

This is for the parts department. Pricing for a rear cargo cover was competitive. However, their ability to complete an order left much to be desired. I was going to be in the LA area on Saturday and after speaking with the customer representative, it seemed the part would arrive on Saturday. Things seemed great! I had a good price, part was available in a warehouse and would arrive on time. I placed the order online. Then I got an order that it was placed. Great, right? Wrong. I called the day before to confirm the part was available for pickup. Mind you, I'm driving all the way to El Monte from San Diego to pick up the part as I was going to be in the area that weekend. And they say they didn't actually order the part. Also I had to call three times and I ended up calling a different number to get answered to receive a call from a woman quite out of breath. In the end, I cancelled the order. The online price discount just isn't worth the hassle of dealing with the service at Longo. I ended up ordering at a different Toyota dealership instead. read more

I'm a disabled man and can't carry much anymore. This young man not only was very polite and professional. He assisted me by carrying out my products to my vehicle and help me set up an appointment for installation of lights. When I came to have the lights installed, he seen me walked over to me. Located right off the freeway i-10 with a dedicated ramp and super big lot and sign I came here for my 5k mile service for my GR Corolla. However, my main concern remains: during the multi-point inspection, only the water pump was noted, while critical issues like the timing belt and thermostat were completely missed. Another shop repaired the water pump, timing belt, thermostat, and front wipers for $1,200, confirming these were urgent and should have been identified. Meanwhile, I paid $463 just for maintenance and inspection at the dealership--yet the most important issues were missed. If you're looking for a Toyota, you know that they are one of the few brands still recovering from COVID era supply chain issues. And Longo is the highest volume dealer on earth. Their model is about quantity. So they're not going to try to force you to pay fees above MSRP like many other dealers in the area. However, their massive size also has some big down sides. It's easy to fall through the cracks when you're just one customer of millions. My partner was on a waitlist for a car with Longo and they just forgot her. After over a year, we had to call and prompt them and then suddenly she had a car. Yesterday, I got to experience another of the big drawbacks. My Prius was due for service. I made an appointment online for an oil change at 1:45pm. I arrived forty minutes early. I was met by an employee who then shocked me by saying that it would likely be 3:45pm before my car was ready. How does it take 2 hours to do an oil change, I asked? He explained that the service department was "really busy." Sure, I replied, that's why I have an appointment. But apparently at Longo, an appointment isn't a real appointment; it just means you get seen before non-appointments. As it turns out, even 3:45pm was a gross understatement. They ended up taking until 6pm to get my car back to me. For those playing at home, that's nearly 5 hours to change the oil in a car they sell! The employee who returned my car reiterated how "busy" the service department was. Maybe it's just me, but I think appointments should be honored. If Longo can't service cars fast enough, they should hire more folks or take fewer appointments. It should never take longer than a half hour to change the oil in a Prius. Also, good businesses know when they're screwing up. Restaurants comp meals, hotels comp rooms. If you specialize in cars and it takes you on the order of 12 times longer than it should, you should probably comp that work. As a final treat, my car was dirty when it was returned. My last look at the dealership was a sign apologizing that their car wash was down for maintenance. Gee, thanks. The whole service area might need some fixing up. read more
