It's been over two years since I last visited Longo Toyota, and I'll be honest--I had a really bad taste in my mouth from my previous experiences (see below). Long wait times, poor communication, and a general sense of disorganization made me feel like I'd never return. But this time around, I decided to give Longo another shot--and I'm glad I did. From start to finish, this visit was a completely different experience. I had an 8:30 AM appointment and was told my car would be ready around 11 AM. Sure enough, it was ready at 10:50 AM--right on schedule. That may seem like a small thing, but being accurate and respectful of customers' time means a lot, especially when it hasn't always been the case in the past. Julian, my service advisor, was clear, professional, and kept me informed throughout. He even texted me a list of optional recommendations before the service was complete, giving me the freedom to choose what I wanted to move forward with. When I had a follow-up question about the CV axle boot, he quickly got in touch with the technician and let me know it was the driver side--no runaround, just straightforward service. Because of this latest visit, I feel much more confident bringing my car (and my business) back to Longo Toyota. And moving forward, I'll definitely be requesting Julian as my service advisor. In 2022, I was back in LA with no vehicle. Horrible time to buy a car but I was in a vulnerable position and tried to buy the most economical vehicle I could in my time of need. Went to Longo from a family recommendation. I got absolutey gutted at Longo and ended up paying like 10 grand over the average price for 2022 for the toyota corrola. On top of that, on the drive home, the check tire pressure light came up which plagued me for over a year, the light going on and off, the tire being flat on multiple occansions. You get 4 car service appointments with the purchase, which were completely useless they did not fix the problem. luckily my mechanic fixed it for my money after wasting my time at their 4 service appointments bundled with purchase. So basically, I listened to family and trusted Longo and was in a vulnerable spot needing a vehicle. This Got me absolutely gutted by the cool and experienced salesman Abel. On top of that, they intentionally sold me a vehicle that had a tire pressure issue by filling it up with air without fixing it. I learned later from working at a car place that unfortunatey this is standard scummy behavior that people in car business do to pass the problem on down the line. Then inept staff continued to do this and wasted my 4 free appointments. Typical big corporate dealer behavior. Went to local shop with mechanic Ive known for awhile and all issues were fixed in half hour. I was young and stupid going here, this place is trash. read more
