This my second time buying a car from Longo in the last 8 years and this time they again, did not disappoint with their service, and easy financing options. Dave helped us from the first time we walked in to Longo and kept us informed the entire way. We first went in 2 weeks ago looking for a couple of family car options unfortunately some of the cars we were looking for were not on the lot. Dave was able to give us a general idea without running our credit of what a payment would look like for each and we decided on the 2025 RAV4 XLE. There was exactly one left in a Ruby Red sitting in Japan that we reserved for first dibs once it arrived. We placed our refundable $500 deposit and waited to get updates. Initially we thought it would take weeks perhaps until next month but she was here right when we needed her, in just under two weeks. It was my first time purchasing a car from home (because of how far the dealership is from me) so I asked countless questions, checked every contract multiple times then asked more questions, then communicated back and forth with my credit union for days. A check engine light appeared. The dashboard light went out, but my personal OBD-II scanner proved that codes P11EC00 and P160500 are still locked into the ECU history. When I brought this evidence to the service department, they tried to brush it off because the dash light wasn't currently glowing. They are completely ignoring a critical internal mechanical failure (burnt valve/guide issue common on the 3.5L V6) simply because it's an intermittent fault. Unacceptable service This is a known, severe mechanical issue involving burnt exhaust valves and failing valve guides on Toyota's 3.5L V6 (2GR-FKS engine). Despite the clear internal mechanical failure, the service department brushed it off and refused to acknowledge the defect or offer goodwill assistance under California powertrain expectations. Luckily for me I am still within the warranty window. Will definitely go to a different dealer for service Also not sure why i got charged for work that is covered under warranty. read more

Rosy walked up to us and asked if we needed any help to find a car, so we took a walk on this huge lot with so many choices. We found the car we wanted, and the process with smooth and easy. There were a couple of little scuff marks on the car that we wanted fixed as well as a few small scratches. I had an appointment at 2pm. Brought in my car early around 1:30pm. Was told that there would would be a 3hour wait despite the appointment. It's almost 6pm now and still waiting. Food places and coffee shop was closed hours ago. No free beverages or snacks offered to customers waiting. They must have cut down way to many employees but this speed of service is not acceptable! If I have to wait this long, then don't allow me to schedule for this day. They did offer a car to drop us off somewhere but service stops at 3pm for drop/pickup so there is no point. Seats are comfy and there is free WiFi and outlets to charge your devices. Plenty of room to social distance. I don't think I'll be back to this location anymore. read more

This is the 3rd time in the last 9 months that I've taken one of my relatives to buy a new Toyota through Harley Wells. Last week I brought my 72 year old mother-in-law in to purchase a 2026 Corolla Cross. This is her first new car purchase in 23 years and only the second new car she's ever bought in her life... not because she didn't have the means to but because she is INCREDIBLY frugal. It has literally taken my husband and I years to convince her to buy a new car and when her 2004 Rav 4 died last week, we had a small window to work with before she paid to have her Rav repaired... small window meaning one day! My mother in law finally agreed "to look" but only for the cheapest SUV she could find and was pretty set on a Chevy Trax. I was mortified because I stand behind Toyota/Lexus products wholeheartedly. While she was test driving the Chevy Trax, I literally text Harley a picture of the situation and asked for her help to save me from the train wreck of a car my mother-in-law was about to get into - the quality was so poor compared to Toyota. We shot over to Longo from a dealership in Glendora in about 20 minutes and Harley had a Corolla Cross pulled up front and ready for us to takeoff in. There was about a $5,000 price difference between the Trax and the Corolla Cross which I thought was going to be a massive challenge on my part to convince my mother-in-law to buy. Luckily, she test drove the Corolla Cross and fell in love. Harley showed her a higher model and she loved that even more and ended up getting that one! I was in shock and when I called my husband to update him, he was in shock too! Harley worked her magic, we agreed on a great price, and then we stopped by and saw Eddie in the finance department and were out of there in a flash! Eddie made things quick and easy for us, just as Harley did. No high pressure sales gimmicks, just professional and kind customer service. My senior mom came along with us and was so happy to see Harley again, too. I think she talked Harley's ear off! She really believes they're friends because of how well Harley treats her. All in all, I know I can trust Harley to take care of my family and I'm so grateful for that even if it means driving 70 miles one way and passing 5-7 Toyota dealerships along the way! This recent situation was so stressful & scary. I was driving back from work on the freeway when the battery light lit up my dashboard. Then, the BRAKE flashed on my dashboard. I pulled off the freeway. After calling the tow truck, my first text was to Alex letting him know I needed his assistance the next morning. As usual, Alex takes the time to patiently listen to whatever brought me and explains to me straightforward what the fix is. Alex is calm and clear when answering all my questions while helping prioritize the scope of work that needs to be completed. If additional work needs to be done, for example... changing a battery that was corroded & wearing out after fixing the alternator. He lets me know. Took my Rav4 (purchased from Longo) into the service department and requested the fuse for the cigarette lighter be replaced. I am 100% certain my phone charger blew the fuse. However the service writer questioned my request and said they would have to perform diagnostic test to determine the real cause because it could be an electrical issue and not the fuse at all.(what harm is it to just change the fuse?) Wanted to charge me $199.00 just to look at it. I left out of frustration and went to a local garage a few blocks away. The owner Tony changed the fuse for me free of charge and now it works and I saved myself $199.00. Longo is a billion dollar company and still wants to nickle and dime their customers. Do better Longo. Btw before this incident I took the car in for my regular service and asked them to replace the fuse at that time and I was also quoted $199.00 diagnostic fee. I understand the unavailability but he didn't even attempt to pitch us any other cars (I was also interested in a Camry). Because of his demeanor we walked out and ran into his colleague Jason who was kind enough to go through options, alternatives, and was way more helpful. I know Longo is the place to buy a Toyota in SoCal but that doesn't mean you don't have to uphold the reputation of the dealership. Also, how do I take a sales person seriously in shorts? I visited Longo Toyota Finance Department today regarding my problem with my car title. I was helped by Ms. Dolores who proved to be the best person to assist me with my concerns. She was very friendly and polite. She asked for some of my car documentations and verified everything for me. She even went out of her way to make electronic and telephone representations for me with Toyota Financial Services located in Atlanta, Georgia to facilitate resolution of my car title problem. After calling 8 different dealerships, was finally able to get the lowest price here for my 2025 Rav4 hybrid. Daniel Vo was my salesperson and he had the car parked outside ready to go for a test drive by time I arrived to my appointment. He briefly explained the different drive mode function to me while I took it for a test run on the road and freeway. Back at the office, I told Daniel I just want the car, no extra add-ons. He did exactly as I requested, did not try to sell me any extras that I didn't want or throw in any bull**** to convince me otherwise. Whole transaction went very smooth, professional, and swift.
